This must be the inevitable mental conclusion to OVOE shareholders that continue to take venomenistic investment advice. On the downside, much like the original Ephyra king forever rolling his massive stone uphill by day only to watch it roll back down at dusk, the philosophical goal behind these OVOE posts tends towards the psychotic, unintelligible, rambling, incoherent and pointless...remaing completely absent of the slightest cogent thought or logical assumption. On the upside, they do make a lot more sense to me than anything Dean Weber ever published.

"System and method of determining location
of wireless communication devices/persons for controlling/adjusting operation of devices
based on the location."
2)...sub2)...But its overly technical title
conceals one fabulously interesting fact:
The patent is all about different ways that
networked technology could automate systems
in the home.
2)...sub3)...Apple's idea is not just a
super-smart remote control switch for your
lighting either
--it would be able to track a user's location
in and near the home and then intelligently react.
2)...sub4)...Apple's patent imagines everything
from your TV to your tablet to your car would
communicate, through a hub device, to your home's
thermostat, lighting system, telephone, dishwasher,
stove and so on.
2)...sub5)...By using "trigger" devices and events,
such as detecting your car pulling into the parking
space or your cellphone crossing the threshold at
the front door,
the house would be able to preemptively respond,
perhaps by unlocking the front door as your car
arrives or turning the coffee machine on as you
walk in the door.
2)...sub6)...The idea is a step beyond internet-
connected electrical outlets or lighting solutions
like Philips' Hue--
2)...sub7)...Apple imagines the house would be
intelligent and would look at the house occupant's
movements within the home to try to predict what
their next actions would be.
2)...sub8)...The key to all of this is location
and movement data.
2)...sub9)...If you think this patent is a glimpse
of a far-off future, then you should remember the
Nest "smart" thermostat, which learns your heating
desires.
2)...sub10)...And then you should remember that
Apple's just designed its M7 motion chip to
permanently monitor movement of devices like the
iPhone 5S with just a tiny drip of power.
2)...sub11)...Why would Apple be interested in
doing this?
2(...sub12)...It's about the app ecosystem of
course...
--think of the lucrative "home apps" category
in iTunes, and the ways it could monetize an
iHome system and its data.

in some detail specifically, what he intended to do, via this Press Release's ...last three sentences,
TO WIT;
>>>8)..."Further, as part of any potential transaction, One Voice will require a license back on its patents so
we may continue our business uninterrupted with current and future customers.

purchase their then, [51 %] Majority Controlling Interest from the Venture Capitalist, [Alpha / Whalehaven],
as part of their routine, well thought out and prearranged ...Exit Strategy, which is easily documented.
3)...{STEP THREE}...
Dean resigned as [O V O E], C E O, in May of ['11] and the company simply disappeared and did not
renew it's Business License for {'12}, or {'13}.
4)...{STEP FOUR}...
Dean joined Voice Assist, [V S S T], a "PURE PLAY" leader in the "Hands Free" Voice Recognition
Sector, as their Chief Technology Officer in March of ['12] and the market for the stock rallied
significantly, immediately after the announcement with about two percent of [V S S T] crossing
in just two trades;
...a big vote of confidence for Dean Weber, indeed.
5)...{STEP FIVE}...
After finishing his ..."SIX MONTH / TO DO LIST"... at Voice Assist, [V S S T], in August of ['12], Dean

immediately announced that he was officially launching {goDogFetch.com}..."SOON"...and that
"they were ...on their way".
9)...{STEP NINE}...
Products of this quality and reliability are EXACTYLY WHAT ...APPLE AND [V S S T]... will DEMAND,
if they are to fulfill [V S S T]'s stated Corporate Objective of becoming the Sector Dominant in the 'DISTRACTED DRIVER' [and / or]...

One Voice Technologies Issues Corporate Update
LA JOLLA, CA -- (MARKET WIRE) -- [02/02/2010] -- One Voice Technologies, Inc. (OTCBB: OVOE) Chairman and CEO Dean Weber today issued
the following ...corporate update:
1)..."We are pleased to announce that we have engaged ICAP Ocean Tomo, LLC ("ICAP OT") to sell One Voice Technologies, Inc. patent portfolio relating to its voice recognition technologies for mobile devices among related applications.
2)...One Voice's patent portfolio includes 3 issued U.S. patents that have been cited by Google, Microsoft, Nuance, Intel, Matsushita, SAP Aktiengesellschaft, Phoenix Solutions, and VoiceBox Technologies, among others.
3)...These patents are directed towards worldwide coverage focused on human to computer interaction using conversational speech as input to any computer, mobile device or internet-based object.
4)...These patents allow for the development of next generation smart computing devices where people use natural speech to control devices, voice search, and chat among related applications."
5)..."Given the prolific growth of wireless technologies and search applications, we believe One Voice's voice recognition technologies are critical to the evolving convergence of mobile devices and the Internet
-- especially in areas of voice search," said Dean Becker of ICAP Ocean Tomo.
6)...Dean Weber continued, "With this engagement, One Voice is selecting an industry leader with a successful track record for facilitating patent sale transactions.
7)...We look forward to working closely with the ICAP OT team to monetize this portfolio and have postponed any litigation pending the outcome of the potential sale.
8)...Further, as part of any potential transaction, One Voice will require a license back on its patents so we may continue our business uninterrupted with current and future customers.
9)...As a pioneer in voice search technologies, we feel that as worldwide mobile device sales increase, the need for effective search and navigation using hands-free voice input is critical for ease of use and safety concerns.
10)...We believe a sale of our technologies in this space will help realize undervalued intellectual property assets while furthering our operational and strategic business growth objectives.

3)...I use Siri on my iPhone all the time.
4)...Admittedly, though, the most common uses are “Siri, set a timer for 10 minutes” when I’m cooking something, or “Siri, play Mockingbird by Eminem” when I want to listen to a specific song.
5)...There are still many things Siri is not very good at.
6)...In fact, sort of most of the things.
7)...My son has an Android smartphone.
8)...Android doesn’t give it’s voice recognizing artificial intelligence a cool name—like Siri—but it seems to work as well, or even better for some scenarios, than its iOS equivalent.
9)...Google actually goes one step farther with the Google Now service that actually learns about you and your life, and attempts to proactively deliver relevant information without you asking for it.
10)...Both of them fall far short of the ultimate goal, though—which is “Jarvis”.
11)...Who is Jarvis?
12)...If you’ve seen any of the Iron Man movies, you know who Jarvis is.
13)...Jarvis is Tony Stark’s (the genius billionaire playboy alter ego of Iron Man) virtual concierge.
14)...Jarvis doesn’t just answer questions about who won the Texans game, or help you find movie tickets—perhaps to the next Iron Man movie, though.
15)...Jarvis knows Tony Stark as well or better than Tony Stark knows himself, and Jarvis has personality that puts Siri’s snarky sarcasm to shame.
16)...I want Jarvis.
How do we get there?
17)...To figure out where we stand on the timeline between now and Jarvis, I went to the source: Robert Scoble.
18)...Granted, Scoble isn’t personally working on the technology that will get us there, but he talks to the people who are.
19)...He claims Siri was launched in his house, and he is in a unique, and enviable position to peek behind the curtains and see what the future wizards of Silicon Valley are working on.
20)...Scoble is also co-author of a soon-to-be-released book titled Age of Context (co-written by Forbes contributor Shel Israel), and he is an avid—possibly rabid—proponent of the benefits of sharing personal information.
21)...From the very start of our conversation, it didn’t sound like we’re going to get Jarvis anytime soon.
22)...Scoble began ominously with, “The problem…so, there’s multiple problems on multiple levels.”
23)...The first—and possibly biggest—problem, is just developing technology that can actually understand what the hell you’re saying.
24)...I have a pretty good success rate with Siri, but I still have to repeat or re-state about 10 percent of the commands, which isn’t very efficient.
25)...For my wife and kids, Siri is even less accurate, sometimes to the point of being unusably dysfunctional.
26)...Scoble told me that Google’s voice recognition suffers from similar issues.
27)...He said that if you ask Google Glass to find “500 First Street”, it insists on converting it to “501st Street” which can be problematic for getting around in metropolitan areas that like to use numbers for street names.
28)...Nuance is sort of the de facto leader in voice recognition, and it’s the technology behind Siri, but Scoble believes Nuance has peaked, and that it doesn’t have the sort of innovation necessary to take us to the next level.
29)...He claims a source told him Google, Apple, Microsoft, and even Amazon are all working on their own next-generation voice recognition systems.
30)...The second problem is connectivity.
31)...The virtual assistant—whether it’s Siri, Google, or something else—is just a voice recognition front-end for the databases and computer services it’s connected to.
32)...The information may be available, but if Apple doesn’t have an arrangement to allow Siri to access it, it may as well not exist.
33)...Scoble relayed an example.
34)...“Siri, even if it understands you—like, you can ask it something like “How many people are checked in at the Ritz on Foursquare?” It understands you.
35)...It turns that into the right words.
36)...But, it’s not hooked up—and there is an API, by the way, and there is an answer for that on the Internet,
but the Siri system is not hooked up to Foursquare, and so it takes you to Bing , and it gives you a stupid answer, and it breaks.”
Who do you trust?
37)...Possibly the biggest hurdle, though, when it comes to moving from Siri to Jarvis is privacy—and our personal and social stigmas about sharing information with a third party.
38)...There are two elements to this hurdle—which entities you trust to store your data, and the regulatory and privacy regulations that prevent key information from being shared.
39)...Jarvis—or whatever the next-generation virtual concierge is called—will need some way to store and access all of the relevant information about you.
40)...Your device—whether it’s a smartphone or tablet, or some new gadget like a smartwatch or Google Glass—will not have enough built-in storage capacity to remember every detail of your life.
41)...Even if it could, that would be a huge privacy and data security concern because portable / mobile gadgets are also very easily lost or stolen.
42)...The cloud makes sense because it can store virtually unlimited amounts of data that can be accessed from just about anywhere.
43)...It allows your Siri, or Google Now, or “Jarvis” to exist simultaneously on multiple devices and platforms, rather than being held hostage in one gadget.
44)...It’s not a matter of sharing intimate details of your life with the world.
45)...We’re not talking about posting sensitive data publicly on a social network.
46)...We’re just talking about trusting a third party and sharing your personal data with that company.
47)...The question is, “which cloud?”
38)...Do you trust Google more than Apple, or Microsoft more than Google?
39)...Back in May, I wrote about Google’s “creepy factor”.
40)...The fact is that the more you’re willing to share personal data and sensitive information with Google, the more awesome Google can be for you.
41)...The value of the services Google provides are a direct reflection of Google’s ability to deliver relevant information in real-time because it knows where you are, where you’re going, who you know, and what you like.
42)...Even if you trust Google, or Apple, or Microsoft, or whichever company with your information, the next obstacle is getting the various entities that store your personal data to play nicely with each other.
43)...To get from Siri to Jarvis, the virtual concierge should have access to your complete medical history, your investments and financial details, and more.
44)...All of that information may exist online somewhere, and it may be accessible by you—but only in separate silos.
45)...Regulations like SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley), HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act), or PCI-DSS (Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards), as well as other regional privacy laws get in the way of sharing the kind of information that needs to be shared in order to transform Siri to Jarvis.
46)...We’re heading in the right direction, and we’ll probably get there someday.
47)...But, we’re probably at least five years off in terms of the technology being accurate and effective enough to provide Jarvis-like service,
and possibly even further away from breaking down the social and regulatory barriers necessary to enable access to the right information.
48)...Of course, once we get from Siri to Jarvis, we’ll have to start worrying about Jarvis becoming HAL 9000, or GLaDOS, or WOPR.
40)...One thing at a time.

Apple ...Patents... "Smart" Home And Media Hub
"Remote Control", ...Via "THE NEW" ...{iPhone}
Darrell Etherington
...OUR [O V O E "E"] "REMOTE CONTOL" IS NOW, INSIDE THE "NEW" IPHONE, which should be coming out on, or about {10 September '13}
1)...The fabled Apple television set is still a fable, lo these many years after it first was whispered into the waiting ear of an analyst or blogger,
but today Apple has secured a new patent (via AppleInsider) which could renew interest in rumors of Apple’s television plans,
since it describes an iPhone-based remote control system for completely setting up a home theatre system tailored to specific types of content, moods and themes.
2)...Apple’s multimedia system/smart home-type remote would be able to recall, store and set things like lighting, channels, music and window shades as well as set stereo components like amplifiers and more to desired settings.
3)...It’s essentially a Logitech Harmony universal remote, with settings like “Watch a movie” or “Play a game” very similar to those available on Logitech’s highly customizable home theater control devices,
but with a lot more options and features thrown into the mix, and a control scheme that extends to connected home devices, which could conceivably include things like Philips Hue connected lighting system.
4)...The system also has some neat automated components, like suggesting themes and whole home settings based on metadata associated with content being watched.
5)...This means that you don’t have to sit down with intent aforehand to watch something and choose the appropriate theme
– while you’re browsing or channel surfing, and if you happen to light upon something you seem to like, the system could suggest an appropriate mode to go with it.
6)...So if you get sucked into Spartacus, for instance, Apple’s iPhone-based multimedia concierge could offer to change your system over to the idea setting for classical epics with a single tap.
7)...{Apple’s patent} appears to be designed to work with content sources including broadcast television,
since it contains a provision for waiting for a commercial break before it even offers up any kind of scene suggestions at all,
so it could definitely be included in any kind of over-the-top service that the Mac maker might have in the hopper.
8)...The patent application itself is ...quite a few years old..., which might be reason enough to suspect this idea has been shelved,
but at the time of its original filing it also would’ve looked a lot more science fiction than it does given today’s technology.

??? BACKGROUND FOR APPLE'S ..NEW.. { TELEVISION INTERFACE
[and / or] "PARADIGM SHIFT" } ???
....Aug 22, 2013....EXACTLY "ONE MONTH TO GO" AND COUNTING ! !
1)...Years of halting negotiations with cable companies haven’t gotten Apple much closer to its grand vision for television.
2)...But a newer strategy of talking directly to content providers seems more promising.

•This $199 Headband Can Read Your Mind
3)...Apple is negotiating with production studios and networks to provide content for a television set that would emphasize apps over cable TV, according to people familiar with those discussions.
4)...Among the companies that have talked to Apple are Disney’s ESPN, Time Warner’s HBO, and Viacom, which owns MTV Networks, Nickelodeon, and Comedy Central.
5)...It’s unclear how close these deals are to fruition.
6)...Some people cautioned that, with the TV industry in such flux, “everybody is talking with everybody.”
7)...Any deal with an internet TV service like the one envisioned by Apple is likely to be under similar terms as the networks have negotiated with traditional cable companies.
8)...Sources say Apple’s strategy could include forming its own pay TV service, essentially becoming a cable company itself, except with content delivered entirely over the internet.
9)...Intel, Sony, and Google are known to be pursuing similar tactics, and could launch their own pay TV services before Apple.
10)...The difference is that Apple wants to release a full-fledged television set, seeking to control the entire experience of watching TV, according to sources.
11)...Apple already sells a small set-top box called Apple TV that plugs into the back of other televisions.
12)...It’s an add-on device for watching apps like Netflix and video purchased from Apple’s iTunes store.
13)...An Apple television set, by contrast, would attempt to usurp the role of the cable box in people’s living rooms.
14)...Apple declined to comment.
15)...So did Viacom. ESPN spokesman Chris LaPlaca, referring to talks with all potential internet TV services, said, ”This is very, very exploratory in nature.
16)...There are no formal discussions taking place.”
17)...HBO spokesman Jeff Cusson said, “We see our current model as our best model for now and have no plans to go over the top or to enter these markets in a different way.”
18)...The reference to going “over the top” points to a crucial distinction in the industry.
19)...Most new television programming is only available to people with pay TV subscriptions, which bundle together lots of networks for a monthly fee.
20)...Other ways of getting such content, like paying for shows a la carte, are considered over-the-top services.
21)...Streaming internet video companies like Netflix are also included in that category.
22)...But an internet-only pay TV service could occupy a gray area—not technically over-the-top, but still a threat to cable companies that fear becoming “dumb pipes” for other people’s programming.
Goodbye, channel-flipping
23)...The main obstacle to an Apple television set has been content.
24)...It has mostly failed to convince cable companies to make their programming available through an Apple device.
25)...And cable companies have sought to prevent individual networks from signing distribution deals with Apple.
26)...Sources say Apple has concluded that it doesn’t need all, even most, content providers on board before it can release a TV set that people would buy.
27)...It just needs enough good programming to distinguish the new product, which will try to simplify the experience of connecting internet video to the TV.
28)...A deal with a top-tier content provider like ESPN or HBO could represent a tipping point that would encourage Apple to bring the product to market.
29)...Most networks, though, would be reluctant to strike deals without the participation of others, not wanting to upset their relationships with cable companies, which view Apple as a disruptive competitor.
30)...Apple’s TV set could shift the paradigm of traditional television watching.
31)...Instead of organizing everything around channels, it would organize around apps from networks, studios, and others that own content.
32)...Other features, like search, might help eliminate the notion of channel-flipping altogether.
33)...Cable companies, in that scenario, could become just another app that consumers choose to pay for or not, rather than the core of the TV set.
34)...Apple is still interested in striking deals with cable companies that would allow people to plug their cable lines into the back of the TV set, bypassing a cable box, sources say.
35)...But at least two years of negotiations haven’t progressed very far.
36)...The cable companies worry chiefly about losing control of their relationship with customers, as some believe happened to AT&T with the iPhone.
37)...Apple is reportedly close to signing a deal with Time Warner Cable that would give the cable company’s subscribers an app on the existing Apple TV set-top box, which is about the size of a hockey puck and sells for $99.
38)...It’s not clear what would happen to the current Apple TV if Apple also releases a TV set, which would cost much more.
39)...Apple’s desire to control all aspects of the experience is typical of the company, which puts a premium on aesthetics and ease of use, but it would still be a risk.
40)...TV sets are expensive, and people generally keep them longer than Apple’s other popular products, like computers and phones.
Picking the right moment
41)...The existing Apple TV box is essentially a conduit for Apple’s own iTunes store, which sells and rents a large catalog of movies and TV shows.
42)...Apple has repeatedly downplayed the set-top box as a “hobby,” but sales have picked up recently.
43)...In May, Apple CEO Tim Cook said “about half” of the 13 million Apple TV’s ever sold had been purchased in the past year, and the product was recently upgraded to a “beloved hobby.”
44)...In recent months, Apple has made various small moves to build its presence in TV land.
45)...It just acquired startup Matcha.tv, which helps people find a particular program or movie on the internet.
46)...Apple also reportedly offered $280 million for the Israeli firm PrimeSense, which makes motion sensing technology that can be used as a gesture-control system for TV.
47)...Meanwhile, competition from other set-top boxes in the US has increased.
48)...Microsoft is preparing to release a new version of the Xbox, which is used as much for watching video as playing video games.
49)...Roku recently raised $60 million of venture capital, and has struck deals with some cable companies, including Time Warner Cable, Comcast, and DirecTV. Google launched the Chromecast, a small device that plugs into the back of TV sets to stream video and music.
50)...And Amazon, not to be left out, is also working on its own set-top box.
51)...The array of video that can be played on such devices is growing, too, and much of it doesn’t require a cable TV subscription.
52)...Americans today can watch many newly released films, day-old episodes of some popular TV shows, and live network television—all without paying anything to a cable company.
53)...That has led to predictions that consumers will cut their cable cords in favor of services like Netflix, iTunes, and Amazon Instant Video.
54)...And while the causes aren’t clear, subscriptions to pay TV services in the US are now at their lowest level in four years.?
QZ.com
55)...Still, cord-cutting isn’t happening in large numbers yet, largely because cable companies have managed to secure exclusive rights to hometown sporting events and other coveted programming.
56)...For instance, Apple TV recently added apps for Disney’s ESPN and Time Warner’s HBO, but both require a cable subscription to use.
57)...That’s partly why Apple was so keen to strike deals with cable companies before releasing a TV set.
If you can’t beat them…
58)...One alternative being considered is that Apple could essentially become a cable company itself.
59)...Under that scenario, sources say, Apple would launch what is formally known as a virtual multichannel video programming distributor.
60)...MVPD is the catch-all term for pay TV services, whether delivered over cable lines, satellites, or otherwise.
61)...A virtual MVPD would offer such content entirely over the internet.
62)...Intel, Google, and Sony are known to be preparing virtual MVPDs of their own.
63)...To consumers, virtual MVPDs might not seem much different than over-the-top services, but the technical distinction could help Apple and content companies in their negotiations.
64)...HBO wouldn’t technically be going over the top and possibly violating its existing contracts if it struck a deal with a virtual MVPD.
65)...Viacom seems to have followed that logic in reportedly agreeing (paywall) to let Sony carry its content on an internet TV service.
66)...However Apple’s television service is formally regarded, it will still be seen as disrupting the TV industry.
67)...In its talks with content companies, say sources, Apple notes that it has nearly 600 million iTunes accounts and is good at getting people to pay for content.
68)...It made similar claims when it negotiated with companies in music and publishing, and it has indelibly changed those industries.
69)...If Apple or other tech companies were successful at internet TV, cable companies could see their bargaining power diminish with both consumers and content owners.
70)...That would squeeze prices in unpredictable ways.
71)...More entertainment companies could start to see advantages in selling new shows direct to consumers.
72)...Production studios, which typically work with TV channels to distribute their shows, may prefer to negotiate distribution deals on their own.
73)...And sports leagues, which sell lucrative contracts to media companies, could instead choose to offer more of their own subscription services.
74)...Consultants hired by one cable company to examine such a scenario concluded that “value would flow up river to the content companies and away from cable, probably irreversibly,” says someone involved in the study.
75)...Cable companies will, of course, attempt to prevent that from happening.
76)...They are aggressively battling Intel’s efforts, for instance.
Years in the making
77)...“I’d like to create an integrated television set that is completely easy to use,” former Apple CEO Steve Jobs is quoted saying in his biography, published in 2011 after he died.
78)...That was seen as a sign that Apple would soon release a TV set, but two years later, it hasn’t yet happened, stymied by complexities far greater than other industries Apple has entered.
79)...The same, in a sense, is true for HBO.
80)...The network has long been rumored to be preparing to sell subscriptions directly to consumers, instead of doing it entirely through cable companies.
81)...It has developed a well-regarded service called HBO Go, which provides nearly all of the network’s programming, including old shows, over the internet.
92)...HBO Go is only available to HBO subscribers, who also must be cable subscribers—but the network could easily use the service to cut out cable companies, if that strategy started to make more sense.
93)...HBO has made small steps in that direction, selling HBO Go directly to consumers in the Nordic countries.
94)...But it has repeatedly said it doesn’t make sense to do the same in the United States.
95)...Cable companies handle some payment processing, marketing, and customer service on behalf of HBO, which reduces costs.
96)...It’s also not clear how cable companies would react if HBO or other premium networks, like CBS’s Showtime, struck deals with Apple or other competitors.
97)...ESPN is in a similar situation. Its WatchESPN apps and ESPN3 service allow some cable subscribers to view live programming over the internet.
98)...But it hasn’t gone further in that direction because Disney is reluctant to risk the lucrative revenue its able to extract from cable companies for the right to carry ESPN networks
—about $5 per subscriber per month, even if some of those subscribers aren’t sports fans.
99)...Still, with pay TV subscriptions flatlining in the US, a new customer like Apple or another internet TV provider could prove appealing.
100)...Another complicating factor in Apple’s quest to release a television is internet bandwidth.
101)...Cable companies generally own the pipes that deliver their programming and are best at optimizing their performance.
102)...Internet-only services, like Netflix, have run into bandwidth problems that can cause delays at busy times.
103)...(Netflix says it has improved performance considerably.)
104)...That’s another reason Apple is still interested in working with cable companies, according to one source, though internet speeds and bandwidth optimization may have improved enough in some parts of the US for ...Apple to go it alone.

http://qz.com/115304/google-is-preparing-for-screenless-computers/
.................................{16 AUGUST '13}
1)...The spread of computing to every corner of our physical world doesn’t just mean a proliferation of screens large and small—it also means we’ll soon come to rely on mobile computers with no screens at all.
2)...“It’s now so inexpensive to have a powerful computing device in my car or lapel, that if you think about form factors, they won’t all have keyboards or screens,” says Scott Huffman, head of the Conversation Search group at Google.
3)...Google is already moving rapidly to enable voice commands in all of its products.
4)...On mobile phones, Google Now for Android and Google’s search app on the iPhone allow users to search the web via voice, or carry out other basic functions like sending emails.
5)...Similarly, Google Glass would be almost unusable without voice interaction.
6)...At Google’s conference for developers, it unveiled voice control for its Chrome web browser.
7)...And Motorola’s new Moto X phone has a specialized microchip that allows the phone to listen at all times, even when it’s asleep, for the magic word that begins every voice conversation with a Google product: “OK…”
8)...There’s nothing new about voice interaction with computers per se. What’s different about Google’s work on the technology is that the company wants to make it as fluid and easy as keyboards and touch screens are now.
9)...That’s a challenge big enough that, thus far, it has kept voice-based interfaces from going mainstream in our personal computing devices.
10)...And in cases when they are in use, such as interactive voice response systems designed to handle customer service calls, they can be frustrating.
.......................................................Interacting with a computer like it’s a friend
11)...“What we’re really trying to do is enable a new kind of interaction with Google where it’s more like how you interact with a normal person,” says Huffman. To illustrate, he picks up his smartphone and says “How far is it from here to Hearst Castle?”
12)...Normally, getting an answer to such a seemingly simple question would require googling “Hearst Castle,” clicking on a map, and typing in your own address.
13)...But Huffman’s phone gets the answer right on the first try—a neat illustration of how voice commands can save time and effort.
14)...In a way, it’s part of the natural progression of convenience in computer interfaces: 10 years ago writing an email required walking over to a computer, five years ago we could whip out our phones, and in the near future we’ll simply start talking.
.......................................................Leveraging what Google already knows about reality
15)...To achieve this kind of apparent simplicity, the Conversation Search group has to muster everything that Google already knows about the real world.
16)...That’s because, as anyone who has discovered that half the battle of learning a foreign language is absorbing the culture in which it’s embedded, the meaning behind language is always dependent on context.
17)...“One thing that really helps us is the base of all the core relevance and ranking work that the Google search engine is famous for,” says Huffman.
18)...Part of that “relevance” is the Google Knowledge Graph, a database of people, places and things that allows Google to know, for example, that when you ask it for “Cruise movies” you are probably asking for the films of Tom Cruise, rather than “crews movies” or any of a number of other possibilities.
.......................................................Beating humans at understanding meaning
19)...This context doesn’t just make Google’s voice interfaces usable—some day, it could make them even better than humans.
20)...“Today, automatic speech recognition is not as good as people, but our ambition is, we should be able to be better than people,” says Huffman. In order to achieve that, Google will leverage the intimate knowledge it has of its users.
21)...“In some sense Google has a lot of context that [a human transcriptionist] doesn’t have,” says Huffman.
22)...“We know where you are based on your phone’s location and there is some context around what you’ve been talking about lately.
23)...Therefore that should help us understand what kinds of things you might be saying.”
.........................................................Computers that talk back
24)...The future of Google’s voice interfaces isn’t just accurate interpretation of commands, but real interaction—hence the “conversation” part of Huffman’s Conversation Search group.
25)...One trick Google’s voice interface can already do is understand pronouns like he, she and it.
26)...“You can ask yourself why in language do things like pronouns exist—well, they exist because it lets us communicate faster than we do without them,” says Huffman.
27)...To demonstrate, Huffman follows up his question about how far it is to Hearst Castle with the sentence “give me directions,” which doesn’t even include the pronoun “it,” but his phone begins rattling off directions in its tinny computerized voice, anyway.
28)...All of this is, of course, a demonstration laid out in advance for my benefit.
29)...And like any other nascent technology it doesn’t always work perfectly.
30)...At other points in Huffman’s demo, his smartphone fails to understand the pronouns he’s using.
31)...One reason for that, he notes, is that Google’s voice interface “forgets” the subject of any conversation with it after a certain amount of time.
32)...Just as in natural conversation, it has a limited attention span.
33)...In conversation, a human being who has forgotten the referent for a pronoun like “it” might ask his or her companion what he or she is talking about.
34)...Google’s conversation search can’t do that yet, but his team is working on it, says Huffman.
35)...Already, Google’s regular search results perform a version of this “can you clarify?” task by suggesting search terms and providing other disambiguating links at the top of search results.
36)...Eventually, Google’s voice search will do the same: “Did you mean the movies of Tom Cruise…” or, given your search history “were you referring to the movies of Penelope Cruz?”
........................................................Fundamentally re-thinking the nature of computer interfaces
37)...At this point, voice commands are a little-used feature of most people’s everyday interactions with computers, if we’re using them at all.
38)...Between the present and a future in which we are reliably interacting with computers by voice alone, there are a number of challenges, some of them fundamental to what we think of as a computer interface.
39)...One challenge to voice control is simply reliability and error correction.
40)...For example, as Google Glass transcribes your words for an email, text or social media update, you can actually see the ghostly words hovering in your field of view, but how does an interface that relies solely on our ears accomplish the same? Does it read our messages back to us?
41)...Another issue is that current visual computer interfaces limit our options in ways that can make them easier to use.
42)...For example, in graphical user interfaces we can find out what a program can do by clicking on all of its buttons and looking under its menus.
43)...But commanding a computer by voice is more like the old model of interaction with a computer—the command line.
44)...It’s a potentially powerful interface—Huffman imagines a future in which we might even communicate with our computers via a verbal short-hand—but it would require that humans learn a whole new way to control computers, and learn anew the capabilities of all the software that might be used in this way.
............................This ..."restaurant recommendation"... brought to you by vast, distributed neural networks
45)...Ultimately, none of these issues may prove as insurmountable as the ones that Google has already overcome by virtue of its enormous search database, knowledge of the real world, cloud computing infrastructure and army of Ph.D.s who work on voice recognition and natural language processing.
46)...Currently, the everyday magic of understanding voice commands is carried out almost entirely in the cloud, because processing human speech is difficult enough that even a sophisticated smartphone doesn’t have the processing power to do it at a high enough level of reliability.
47)...That means voice commands issued to Google’s hardware and software are recorded, shot into the cloud and parsed into next steps, rather than being handled by the device itself.
48)...“For speech recognition, it’s a very data intensive thing,” says Huffman.
49)...“We use giant neural network things that are spread across many servers.”
50)...Which means that when we talk to our phones, there really is someone listening to our every command—just not an intelligence we’d recognize as human.

Process[edit]
1)...In a reverse takeover, shareholders of the private company purchase control of the public shell company and then merge it with the private company.
2)...The publicly traded corporation is called a "shell" since all that exists of the original company is its organizational structure.
3)...The private company shareholders receive a substantial majority of the shares of the public company and control of its board of directors.
4)...The transaction can be accomplished within weeks.
5)...If the shell is an SEC-registered company, the private company does not go through an expensive and time-consuming review with state and federal regulators because this process was completed beforehand with the public company.
6)...However, a comprehensive disclosure document containing audited financial statements and significant legal disclosures is required by the Securities and Exchange Commission for reporting issuers.
7)...The disclosure is filed on Form 8-K and is filed immediately upon completion of the reverse merger transaction.
8)...The transaction involves the private and shell company exchanging information on each other, negotiating the merger terms, and signing a share exchange agreement.
9)...At the closing, the shell company issues a substantial majority of its shares and board control to the shareholders of the private company.
10)...The private company's shareholders pay for the shell company by contributing their shares in the private company to the shell company that they now control.
11)...This share exchange and change of control completes the reverse takeover, transforming the formerly privately held company into a publicly held company.
Benefits[edit]
12)...The advantages of public trading status include the possibility of commanding a higher price for a later offering of the company's securities.
13)...Going public through a reverse takeover allows a privately held company to become publicly held at a lesser cost, and with less stock dilution than through an initial public offering (IPO).
14)...While the process of going public and raising capital is combined in an IPO, in a reverse takeover, these two functions are separate.
15)...A company can go public without raising additional capital.
16)...Separating these two functions greatly simplifies the process. [2]
17)...In addition, a reverse takeover is less susceptible to market conditions.
18)...Conventional IPOs are risky for companies to undertake because the deal relies on market conditions, over which senior management has little control.
19)...If the market is off, the underwriter may pull the offering.
20)...The market also does not need to plunge wholesale.
21)...If a company in registration participates in an industry that's making unfavorable headlines, investors may shy away from the deal.
22)...In a reverse takeover, since the deal rests solely between those controlling the public and private companies, market conditions have little bearing on the situation.
23)...The process for a conventional IPO can last for a year or more.
24)...When a company transitions from an entrepreneurial venture to a public company fit for outside ownership, how time is spent by strategic managers can be beneficial or detrimental.
25)...Time spent in meetings and drafting sessions related to an IPO can have a disastrous effect on the growth upon which the offering is predicated, and may even nullify it.
26)...In addition, during the many months it takes to put an IPO together, market conditions can deteriorate, making the completion of an IPO unfavorable.
27)...By contrast, a reverse takeover can be completed in as little as thirty days.
Drawbacks[edit]
28)...Reverse takeovers always come with some history and some shareholders.
29)...Sometimes this history can be bad and manifest itself in the form of currently sloppy records, pending lawsuits and other unforeseen liabilities.
30)...Additionally, these shells may sometimes come with angry or deceitful shareholders who are anxious to "dump" their stock at the first chance they get.
31)...One way the acquiring or surviving company can safeguard against the "dump" after the takeover is consummated is by requiring a lockup on the shares owned by the group from which they are purchasing the public shell.
32)...Other shareholders that have held stock as investors in the company being acquired pose no threat in a dump scenario because the number of shares they hold is not significant.
33)...On June 9, 2011, the United States Securities and Exchange Commission issued an investor bulletin cautioning investors about investing in reverse mergers, stating that they may be prone to fraud and other abuses.[1][3]
34)...Reverse mergers may have other drawbacks.
35)...Private-company CEOs may be naive and inexperienced in the world of publicly traded companies unless they have past experience as an officer or director of a public company.
36)...In addition, reverse merger transactions only introduce liquidity to a previously private stock if there is bona fide public interest in the company.
37)...A comprehensive investor relations and investor marketing program may be an indirect cost of a reverse merger.[citation needed]
Future financing[edit]
38)...The greater number of financing options available to publicly held companies is a primary reason to undergo a reverse takeover.
39)...These financing options include:
•The issuance of additional stock in a secondary offering
•An exercise of warrants, where stockholders have the right to purchase additional shares in a company at predetermined prices. When many shareholders with warrants exercise their option to purchase additional shares, the company receives an infusion of capital.
•Other investors are more likely to invest in a company via a private offering of stock when a mechanism to sell their stock is in place should the company be successful.
40)...In addition, the now-publicly held company obtains the benefits of public trading of its securities:
•Increased liquidity of company stock
•Possible higher company valuation
•Greater access to capital markets
•Ability to acquire other companies through stock transactions
•Ability to use stock incentive plans to attract and retain employees

Dear x x x x,
1)...Yes, I would agree with you, that, EVENTUALLY, Apple will probably offer
both hand signal and Voice Recognition, via Remote Control, but for the immediate future,
that specifically, concerns the One Voice Technology Bag Holders,
{i. e. TIM COOKS, ...[iOS 7] PARADIGM SHIFT..., PRESENTATION OF...22 Sep '13},
I remain convinced, that it will be Apple's New .."SIRI CENTRIC".. Voice Remote Control,

that will orchestrate...ALL...of the new {Interactive / Apple Television / Paradigm Shift}.
2)...Apple's still undisclosed and undemonstrated Home Media Hub, which used to be,

is simply not feasible without ...[ Dean Weber's family / ..now.. / {SIRI's family} ]...
of Artificial Intelligence, { NLI / MVS} Personal Assistants,
the newest, of which, is the still unseen "S*H*E", or ...Simulated Human Experience...
application from (goDogFetch.com), which he says, that he is launching not just SOON, but ...................VERY SOON ! !
4)...FOR THIS RETIRED INVESTMENT PROFESSIONAL,
THAT TRANSLATES INTO

5)...While S*H*E, or the Simulated Human Experience is still considered to be a Dark Horse,
that we can currently, ...only dream and speculate about,
I believe that ...S*H*E... is the Holy Grail of Voice Recognition known as the "Captain Kirk Solution"
and one of the .."BACKGROUND OR EMPHASIS".. REASONS, THAT Dean Weber himself,
placed ..{ The Original Forbes Article, dated (15 Nov '99) }.. front and center on his LINKEDIN Profile,
.......just yesterday.
6)...If indeed, it is the "Captain Kirk Solution", where a farmer stands in the middle of his acreage
and ask his smart phone, "Siri, when should I plant my corn", and "Siri", then gives him the most
efficient and logical answer available on the planet, ..THEN WE ARE GOLDEN, ......LIKE NO OTHER.
7)...Folks, if, and only if, that is what we now own, ..via Dean Weber and Apple.., then I am going

Dear William,
1)...You mentioned earlier some time ago, that Apple was now registered as owners of OVOE's Patents so if that's the case they must have been transferred from OVOE to Apple.
...{I M H O}..., WE BELIEVE, BUT DO NOT KNOW,
THAT THE {$500 mm} PATENT MONOPOLY PORTFOLIO WAS...
B*A*R*T*E*R*E*D...........
SPECIFIC REASON WHY ?
{i. e. Apples strategy for FOREVER KEEPING ..."THE ..non disclosure.. LID ON"}
...on the Public Sale Date of [20 July '10]
2)...As I mentioned in my last E-mail with totally wrong date "January 14th 2013" due to hopeless help from Telefonica and now put right by myself.
3)...OVOE now has 74,8 million shares outstanding as by Yahoo OVOE NEW, "Yahoo.uk"
this is a little bit more than in the last Q-10 from Shares issued and outstanding Common stock, $0.001 par value; 1,290,000,000 shares authorized; 68,549,175) and 60,929,085 issued and outstanding as of September 30, 2009.
4)...So where have Yahoo received the figure from?
...W S S OPINION
An excellent question, x x x x, that I SIMPLY DO NOT KNOW THE ANSWER TO, BUT, I DO know
that Yahoo subcontracts the maintenance of the Statistical Data Base and in my opinion, it is
highly UNRELIABLE, thus, ..................I rarely use it.
5)...Has Apple bought Dean's shares plus another X million shares to run One Voice and then
transferred the patent's to them self and if so what has OVOE now got.
A)...{I M H O}, NO, for Apple to buy Dean out and then transfer the patents to themselves, would not only
be illegal but, suicidal for Apple SPECIFICALLY, BECAUSE ...{Apple does and did not}... know how to put all
of the Leading Edge {NLI / MVS} technology together ...in time..., to meet the competitive dead line ..vs.. [GOOG] & {MSFT},
THEREFORE, {I M H O}, DEAN {HAD / HAS} THE SUPERIOR NEGOTIATOR'S CHAIR {and/or} POLE POSITION.
B)...{I M H O}, that's the beauty of the B*A*R*T*E*R*E*D transaction...;
namely, that Apple had to pay Dean "through the nose", in order to or, such that, Dean's cooperation was essential and thus, allowed them to
accomplish their overriding Sector Dominant Mission, and therein, insures the success of their all important [iOS 7]
Surreptitious Strategy, which is INDEED, THEIR ULTIMATE GOAL.
...therefore, Apple lost a battle, such that, Dean's cooperation virtually assures, that they will win their
on going W*A*R with [GOOG] & [M S F T]...;
.....P*L*U*P*E*R*F*E*C*T..... SMART, indeed !
6)...It's time we get to know what's been going on.
SORRY, {I M H O}, I DON'T BELIEVE, THAT WE WILL EVER REALLY KNOW THE DOLLAR VALUE OF THE
PATENT MONOPOLY BECAUSE APPLE PAID ...A VIRTUAL ARMY... OF ATTORNEY'S TO SUCCESSFULLY HIDE ................IT FOREVER,
...not to even mention the myriad other VERY IMPORTANT
DETAILS AND specifics of the bartered transaction...
{NOTE;...............ATTORNEYS ARE PAID TO BE SMART}
7)...Apple should not be registered owners of the patents if they bought majority shares in ONOE unless shareholders had approved a transfer deal.

AND LOOK UP THE "legal" DEFINITION

TO WIT:
"Couldn’t the agent of that disruption be

Say, ...a Remote Control?
That’s the theory put forth by Barclays
Analyst Ben Reitzes, who suggests that
( AND MOST IMPORTANTLY...! ! ! )
'the fulcrum of Apple’s TV strategy isn’t
the TV itself, but positioning its iOS
devices as interactive TV command centers'.
(CONTINUEING...)
The iPhone and iPad can already wirelessly
stream content to a TV with an attached
Apple TV. Why not further expand those
capabilities?
“With iCloud, we don’t see any reason
why Apple wouldn’t eventually allow an iPad
to be an interface for the TV
— to perform basic computing tasks with a
virtual keyboard like checking emails and
calendars, surfing websites, editing your
PhotoStream and even chat with iMessage,â€
...Reitzes explains.
“These tasks would clearly
infringe further on tasks usually earmarked
for desktops and laptops — and the iPad and
Apple TV combination doesn’t even require
Apple to get into the TV market.â€
...An interesting theory.
As Reitzes observes, outfitting iOS devices
with functionality like this clearly
enhances their use case.
( AGAIN, AND MOST IMPORTANTLY...! ! )
And if consumers find that enhancement
compelling enough, it could expand Apple’s
total addressable market for iOS devices.
..............................Drastically ! !
2)...AT THE RISK OF BELABORING MY CONCLUSION:

{Who is John Galt ?}
John Galt is a character in Ayn Rand's novel Atlas Shrugged (1957). Although he is not identified by name until the last third of the novel, he is the object of its often-repeated question "Who is John Galt?" and of the quest to discover the answer.
As the plot unfolds, Galt is acknowledged to be a creator, philosopher, and inventor who symbolizes the power and glory of the human mind. He serves as a principled counterpoint to the collectivist social and economic structure depicted in the novel. The depiction portrays a society based on oppressive bureaucratic functionaries and a culture that embraces mediocrity and egalitarianism, which the novel associates with socialistic idealism.

I'm in the dark like everyone else. I do think that a CA lawsuit being successful and being any benifit to us long suffering shareholders is very much a long shot. Even if these very long odds were overcome, I would think that any monetary award made to shareholders would include shareholders of record during the period in question, not just those that are still holding worthless shares today. That's how it normally works.
sisyphus 14, if you can contact me with a private message on Investors Hub with your contact information I will respond back ASAP! Looking forward to hearing for you.

...one of two wild catters from Texas...
I'm sure Apple is peeing down its leg as we speak.
Not to get off topic however, this is noteworthy. Well, my frustration comes from reading what Mr. Dean Weber said in PR's stating he would keep the shareholders updated as events occur. However, February 2, 2010 ICAP Ocean Tomo was engaged to MONETIZE One Voice patent portfolio, which consisted of 3 U.S. patents. These patents were captured by Apple. This should have been great news for One Voice shareholders; however, Dean never informed investor's the result relating to this transaction. Therefore, "The General" has been summoned. Apple please take note, class action is pending.
