Huge backlash from both Republicans and Democrats regarding Sessions' anti-marijuana announcement yesterday:
Lawmakers React To Sessions Anti-Marijuana Move
https://www.marijuanamoment.net/lawmakers-react-sessions-anti-marijuana-move/
OWCP plan to sell our cream and tablets has been Germany first, then the rest of Europe in countries that have passed mmj. The second was to sell in Canada, where again, it is legalized. There has been talk there is a big market in Asia they are going after also after Europe.
As far as the US goes, there policy has been California first, or other highly populated legal mmj states. But after Europe and Canada.
We are also based in Isreal where the actions of the US means nothing to us other then our piece of the pie maybe isn't as big as it could've been.
Honestly, yesterday's trading for many mmj stocks, proves how uniformed investors are yet about what there buying.
It wouldn't even hurt for companies such as OWCP to come out and make a statement why the actions of Sessions does not change the overall business plan to calm investors, and put that statement right on there website for all to see until our US government legalizes it.
Sleek, good analysis. I tend to agree with this scenario playing out. Hopeful on the amendments you mentioned.
NO PROBLEM . OWCP . it is COMPANY "cannabis MEDICAL $$$$$
sessions has nothing to do with the progress of states and the research and pipeline of owcp. He just got rid of the scared people to create selling for just one day now we head north again
the right move would of been to hold and add as far as .23 goes never will happen here it is only up up up with a few hurdles be strong have patience buy low sell high and you will do very well here one day at a time
we should really close at that level by the end of the day with 7 million shares traded. I feel it was like what abc news did by reporting news that shook markets. The shakeout and panic selling drove it down to .365 now we are already back to .42 great news ahead will keep us strong here with gains through february. We were just at .209 a few months back and have done nothing but a steady uptick with a few hurdles and with core position and occassional flips this is where we want to be go owcp
I totally do agree with you about the suspicious trading activity and have emailed the transfer agent and suggest everyone else does too. They know who is buying and selling. One thing I have mentioned many times is OWCP is suing Wall st right now in New York State and I have always wondered if that's why our stock is being so obviously manipulated. We have to understand that 30+ million shares were illegaly dumped and keeping share price down means smaller restitution payment if that's the way the suit is awarded. Keep heads up it will not go on forever. Let's blow up transfer agent inbox!

Big Pharma doesn’t want MMJ to do well because it will cut into their profits. Keep in mind big pharma is lining the pockets of the politicians. We will have our day soon.
OWCP long and strong!!!
E*TRADE shows OWCP price at .54 now.
Could it be that folks have come to their senses this morning?
..my guess is big tobacco! Phillip Morris just announced they want peeps off ciggies! Weird huh?
$OWCP
The MJ sector and OWCP will be just fine and here is why...
Today will turn out to be an enormous turning point in the history of marijuana in America
Sessions' repeal of the Cole Memo will ironically speed up the pace of federal legalization of cannabis
The Cole Memo, in place since 2013, was a nice safety net, but like training wheels on a bicycle, if you leave them on too long, you are not going to be able to develop the ability to ride a bike without them
5 years of the Cole Memo took away Congress' hunger to change the federal laws surrounding MJ because they didn't need to do so in order for the MJ industry to thrive in America
Today that has changed
The training wheels are now off
And Congress is finally going to learn how to ride a bicycle without assistance
I am confident that the McClintock-Polis amendment will be added alongside the Rohrabacher-Blumenauer amendent -- to the federal budget renewal due on 1/19 -- and the combination of these 2 amendments is much stronger than the Cole Memo and will prevent any and all federal interference in both medical and recreational MJ moving forward
Rohrabacher-Blumenauer protects Med MJ from federal intervention
http://www.thedailychronic.net/2017/89445/federal-medical-marijuana-protections-temporarily-extended-2/
McClintock-Polis protects Rec MJ from federal intervention:
http://www.thedailychronic.net/2017/77310/mcclintockpolis-amendment-to-limit-federal-interference-of-state-marijuana-laws/
In addition, the probability of rescheduling MJ to Schedule 2 in the 2018 calendar year just shot up tremendously
THE 2018 MJ MANIA will ultimately turn out to be even stronger due to today's news and the resultant sequelae summarized above
1/19 is now the next significant positive catalyst for THE 2018 MJ MANIA
Sleek
Loading and Holding! OWCP
Glad I sold heavy before the dump...
Back in at .23

seems like a nice time to add
Anyone know what Alternative Medicine Centers / Holistic / Natural centers OWCP are selling product to in US? Ctrs like *$PAOG ? Seems like a viable path with the Sessions BS today.
Simple, because we are undervalued!
Exactly....A lot of this sessions crap talk don't effect us at all...Almost off topic..if I may say!!Im sure a lot will tell me.
good post.. you mentioned Germany....if my memory serves me well, that is EXACTLY where owcp is going to introduce their psoriasis cream.. the usa is not the only place on this planet..
Forget the price. Why is cnbx market cap $200m and ours is $61m?
Indeed, especially since that’s my hometown news source. I take it you’re a cheesehead? OWCP is the best - bar none!
TappyS
Sorry, yes I'm frustrated! I actually posted Sessions could be "good" for our cause BACK WHEN HE GOT THE JOB!
Reverse physiology I guess? But nobody sees my point so I agree with you regarding the nonsense of blaming Sessions. I think HE is our best chance for getting laws changed, not petitions, etc.
Please think about this hypothetical:
Sessions announces TOMORROW he will ask congress for millions of dollars to prosecute MJ violators.
Does congress say, "OK, how much do you need", or, "wtf we need to change these laws before we get voted out".
Now what happens if Sessions get fired? I say "absolutely nothing", let's just pretend the law doesn't exist, look the other way, not collect taxes, & keep the entire industry in limbo. Kind of like ignoring a "tooth ache".
Sorry again to vent, peace out.
Well said Cbits! Makes perfect sense
SESSIONS AIN’T GOT SHIT ON MMJ!!
LAW WILL CHANGE INEVITABLY
ODUB
We have stayed above the 100 DMA since November 15th. We closed today right on the 50 DMA. Both are converging on the 200. We are still in a bullish trend, from a longer term perspective. We will see pretty quick if this will send us into a funk. I hope not.
News changes all of this.
John, and you don't think big pharma will want to participate in the profits if mmj/rec mj are made legal at the federal level? I think you underestimate the power of their greed.
How many posts here on the OWCP board concern a potential JV with Pfizer? How many included reference to Bayer in Europe/Germany? If big pharma sees where the future is going, they will be first to incorporate mmj into their portfolios, and they will be support legalization efforts biggly.

Chuck, don't get your panties in a wad. I was referring to the portion about writing to your representative to get a bill going to change the law - not about Sessions being only responsible for enforcing the law (I wrote that around 10 am this morning, too). Everybody here seems to want Sessions' head; my point is, even if Sessions is gone, if the law doesn't change, the next AG will do the same thing under the current administration. Unless the law changes (and only congress can do that) OR Trump comes out with public support for mmj (warning off any AG), we will continue to have this dissonance between federal law and states that pass laws making it legal.
Unfortunately big pharma donates to b oth parties the know who their daddy is no laws are coming. They have had many opportunities even today those that railed against it where nkot proposing a new law to fix it
Bring on the Canadian exchange OWCP, it's time to make it official!

It's Session's job to enforce/prosecute federal laws that are "on the books", right? He will ultimately be a MJ/MMJ Hero.
I hope he announces next that he intends to ask congress for millions of dollars so he can prosecute everyone violating Federal MJ laws.
Think about what would happen then...
Moxa, even though you're from CA, don't sit on your hands. Write a letter to your rep and get him/her to SPONSOR a bill that legalizes mmj at the federal level. If nobody writes/sponsors a bill, even if 90% of the country supports it, nothing will get done. This whole issue has to get to the floor of the house and senate to get it passed; maybe this is a subject that can get bi-partisan support if the polls really reflect the strong support some posters have indicated.
I'm lucky I live in CA. My reps in congress all support MMJ and MJ.
Oh wow looks like this is headed down the stool . . . no buy signal generated.
True. I honestly think Sessions wants to control cannabis be the watch dog with his 93 US attorneys
This is the first post that makes absolute sense and is totally correct. Sessions doesn't make laws - he enforces them. When congress gets off its a$$ and passes a law to make mmj legal (maybe even rec mj or at least legal in states that voted it legal), then Sessions won't have an ordinance to prosecute. Case solved.
And the way to do that is what was originally posted: Write your elected officials and get them to change the law at the federal level, or elect somebody new that will support the change. Remember, as long as there is a federal law that conflicts with state law (even if state law was voted on by the populace of the state), the FEDERAL LAW is supreme (the supremacy clause in the constitution).
I read that article earlier, it clearly says by law the medical side is still protected!
Here’s an article in the LA Times about the effect the feds might have on recreational and medical cannabis.
http://www.latimes.com/politics/la-na-pol-pot-sessions-20180104-story.html
sessions has only stirred the pot with his statement today and big backlash will come against him.. POTUS would be wise to get rid of him and soon...imo...
https://www.denverpost.com/2018/01/04/cory-gardner-jeff-sessions-marijuana-policy/
Vermont just voted to on rec MJ in response to Jeff Sessions today!!
Oh man, that alternativelyfacts was funny and made me LOL. Go OWCP, Thanks.
I read the article and it is another reason for sessions to be let go...he is not up to the job etc. and should retire...or fired...
Haaaa that’s funny .. keep watching fake news
excellent post! totally agree with you!
I am writing my congress elected folks in my state... and EVERYONE should!
Sessions may have given impetus to action by mmj supporters:write your elected officials and if they don't support mmj, vote them out and vote in people that will!
