*** OTC BB Pulse: VERY IMPORTANT NOTICE ***
Dear members,
please do take some time and read thru this E-mail...
I know I haven't sent out stock updates thru E-mail lately, but for those who check out the websites daily, you know how well we've been doing. In fact, even in the most pathetic days in the OTC market, we continue to perform well. The record has been posted everyday on the thread for over a year, facts speak for itself.
Lately I've been busy with a lot of stuffs, my role in a local daytrading company has been increasingly important, the reward has been very very good to me. At the same time, I've got a even bigger following on my IndexPulse website than my OTC BB Pulse website. So here comes to a point that I have to either give up OTC BB Pulse, so I can devote more time to the IndexPulse website and message thread, or pay others to update the OTC BB Pulse website for me.
OTC BB Pulse has been pretty much a free website with almost none advertistment, I do the update everyday, I'm sure you can't find a better site out there with quality stock leads and tools for the OTC market. In fact, I'm pretty sure that OTC BB Pulse is the most visited website for OTC traders, if you type in "OTC BB" in Google, OTC BB Pulse rank next to otcbb.com. Again, facts speak for itself.
I can think of two solutions to solve the issue:
1. I will sell the OTC BB Pulse website and all the knowledge base, this is the easiest option for me LOL. OTC companies come to me at least once every two months to do promotion for them. The payment ranges from $2500 to $100,000 per deal, the cost to do promotion is next to nothing, except a few phone calls and E-mail. So you know you've never received E-mail profile from us, but there are a lot of consulting business going behind the scene, and it's pretty much easy money (hey, I'm sure you know all these spams you received with bulletin board stocks info, coz' they do make easy money from it).
For those who want to acquire OTC BB Pulse, please contact me, I don't know how much should I sell the website yet, but it should be a nice price . I'm talking about spending 30min every night to update the website, and you can get at least $30,000 from it every year. Let's not talk about the potential of subscription service, there are thousands of OTC companies out there, but quality outlets to do promotion are fewer than five. You don't have to go after deals, they all come to you, I can guarantee that. I will also show you the numbers to back us up that OTC BB Pulse covers AT LEAST 25% of the active OTC traders.
2. I will start a subscription service, which will cost $25 a month. This is more time consuming for me, but it's enough to cover my opportunity cost. Basically, you will get the potential OTCCD Matrix and Pulsing Stocks 30 min before market close, so you can get the gappers, and get in early to those hidden runners. The current stock leads page will still be updated, but it will be delayed by 2 or 3 days, so our subscribers will get the timely updates. I will also send out my focus list from the 60 stocks every night. More features will also be rolled out, as there are a few projects that I've been working on for a couple months...and close to be completed.
For those who like to subscribe the service, please reply this E-mail, as every vote counts! The future of OTC BB Pulse depends on your support. I haven't asked for anything all these years (not even donations!), here is what I really want to hear from you guys and gals! So please let me know your thoughts!
Happy trading as usual!

Hi Caradoc,
I must have missed this message. We are coming up on the 12th and it will certainly be time to see if this two day pullback is only a correction or the shape of things to come. The way the markets have traded into the last few month's expiration weeks has been how they have traded into the following month. It will certainly be interesting to see if that continues to be the case as December has usually been a Positive month. Any time that you want to talk the markets or any stocks feel free to join Bernard and myself over on the MKTSS board. We look at Anything that can affect the markets movement and like to catch a few good stock trades also. I hope that All is Well with you. Sincerely, Bob :^)
Here is the link to the board. Feel free to comment on anything #board-41
Good Luck to All! :^)
PLAN the TRADE and TRADE the PLAN!
LOL Gordon, that's why I went to trade index options, it gives the same type of gain as bb stocks. To me, the OTC market is alright... to most people, the market is dead.

Hi Bbgold! Can't argue with your logic or the facts you point out. One thing for sure: the fact that this board is so inactive says pennies aren't where the action is. I'm still hoping to pick up GE below 25 (maybe on the eighth?) and am looking at other dividend producers like Verizon and Pepsi. (Pepsi over Coke because of the new products their Frito Lay division has introduced.) Can't quite bring myself to do Phillip Morris, but the boring blue chips will lead the bull whether it starts a week from today or whether -- as the charts seem to say -- about three weeks ago.
For two reasons, I figure there's still a good probability that what we're seeing is one last chance for buyers to get their hearts broken before things really move to higher plateaus:
1. This upward movement began when GE got some good news and IBM got the same a day or so after. Somehow, those two things don't sound like what ends a bear market especially since GE is back to flirting with the $25 level.
2. We still haven't seen anything that qualifies as "capitulation."
That said, if it turns out that I'm as wrong as I look to be today, I'll fearfully climb onboard either the 8th ot the 12th hoping that I missed a month of the new bull market and fearing that gruesome capitulation is a week or two in the future.
Ain't this fun?
Caradoc
PS: when pennies come back to life, it would be polite to take this discussion elsewhere.
Hi Caradoc,
Looks like you should have stuck with October. Moving back to a trading day would have given you October 11th and that would have been a Bullseye. Any particular view on November now that we have seen most of October become Positive?
I hope that All is Well! Sincerely, Bob :^)
Good Luck to All! :^)

Good thoughts! Thanks. EOM
Hi Caradoc,
I think that we are near a bottom. Especially if nothing happens in September. I forgot that Sept 11th will be a holiday. Markets should react to it much as they did July 4th then. Hopefully all of this selling will make for some Great bargains for the Nov to January Affect. This year it might just be the Oct to Jan Affect though. Yes, catching GE around $20-25 might make for an Excellent long term hold. If you do get some Calls then I would look to sell them while they are still trading at a Premium to the share price. If things do start moving Up then you might be able to get an extra $1 out of the contracts over the share price. If you still anticipate more Up then just roll that extra $1 into some longer term OTM contracts and keep the Cash rather than load up on the stock. JMHO though. Thursday the 12th should be a Huge day.
Good Luck Carodoc! Let's see what happens! :^)
Good Luck to All! :^)
PLAN the TRADE and TRADE the PLAN!
bbgold: One indication that bottom is near is radio commercial of woman's voice saying "Honey, let's dump our stocks and invest in something real." She then goes on to tell her husband about replacement windows and storm doors!!!
As soon as the rest of the herd adopts that mentality, it will be time to buy. I'm thinking about General Electric, believe it or not. Say somethiong gruesome happens and it breaks the support of recent low at 25. Doesn't matter whether it's at 20 or some lower number. Buy out-of-the money calls at 30 and ride them up. Then -- just for fun -- instead of selling your calls when stock is back above 30 tell the powers that be that you want to exercise the option and buy the stock at 30. This ought to scare the dickens out of those who assume that options are just a speculation and can be walked down to expire worthless.
Caradoc
PS: Crystal ball says world markets head up on the 11th but that's a holiday in US so track the 12th for rise. If something gruesome happens on the 8th (previous Friday), buying time may have arrived that afternoon.
Hi Caradoc,
I am anticipating that this Nov to Jan will be good for some penny plays, maybe. Yes, capitulation is usually what most investors have been looking for to signal the end of the market drops. No reason that this decline should be any different. I will mark Nov 12th on the calendar. I also think that the turn around in the market will be more of a slow and steady growth. The Whiplash from the market swings has investors becoming more and more cautious about putting money into the markets. I really like that post of the longterm prediction. I must have missed it back then.
Take Care Caradoc! :^)
Good Luck to All! :^)
PLAN the TRADE and TRADE the PLAN!
bbgold: Pennies will be hot again during the last year or so of the next bull market: say, 2006 and the first 3 months or so of 2007. Meanwhile, we still need the capitulation to mark the end of the current bear so that market can start up again on 12 November 2002. Look for the bull to begin (as bulls always do) with people buying dividend-issuing blue chips not for price appreciation but because the dividends are better than other liquid investments.
If you want to make it sporty, go with longterm out-of-the money options.
PS: My longterm prediction post in March of 2001 ( http://www.investorshub.com/boards/read_msg.asp?message_id=67086 ) had the bear ending in September or October rather than November. Sorry about that.
Watch this one go up! DNAP (.039)
Patent news just out...
Say it ain't so!
I too have started to drift away from penny stocks. Not sure if that is a Good thing or not. Most of the penny stocks have just been too volatile and there have been too many scams and share structure problems that can quickly evaporate any strengths that a company might seem to have. I for one have not been putting in any picks because I have given up on following anything, for now. I hope that someone does take over the board as it is interesting to see what is still going on with the otcbb and what is being mentioned.
Take Care Bernard! :^)
Good Luck to All! :^)
PLAN the TRADE and TRADE the PLAN!
*** To all:
I've decided to close this thread unless someone wants to take this over (please feel free to PM me). My goal is to test drive different stock picking techniques, and I think I've tried everything that I could think of for picking bb stocks.
Another reason to close this thread is that I have switched my focus to options, big board stocks, futures, etc. Also, most of the original posters does not post on this board anymore (sadly). I know it's hard for a normal person to post six stocks here everyday
I hope iHub could have something like the portfolio section in SI, so I don't have to do the results manually everyday.
Special thanks to alexed, who has helped out this board a lot, as well as joining the DOWN contest with me LOL. Much appreciated your daily effort to support this thread with your awesome picks!
This is ABSOLUTELY not the end of OTC BB Pulse (why would I build a "super branded" website and end it... ggg), it's just I want to manage my time more efficiently with things that are more in line with my interest.
Happy trading all, you can still catch me here for OTC related issues.
