The news spread quickly and the market was joyous as the expectation had finally seemingly become reality. However, moments later, Gary Gensler tweeted from his official account to say the SEC’s twitter account had been compromised, the tweet confirming the approval had been unauthorised and the SEC had not approved a Bitcoin ETF.
