Novagold Resources Inc. (TSX:NG) says drilling has revealed a significant additional mineralized zone at the Galore Creek copper, gold and silver project in northwestern British Columbia.

The Vancouver-based company says its 2012 drilling program found a previously undiscovered area, which it calls the Legacy zone, close to the mine's central pit.

Novagold says it plans to continue drilling this year to get more information about the size of the Legacy zone, which is at least 700 metres long.

Galore Creek has the potential to become Canada's largest and lowest-cost copper mine, according to the company.

Novagold is developing Galore Creek through a 50-50 partnership with Teck Resources Inc. (TSX:TCK.B), one of Canada's largest mining companies.

Bougth NEM a while back - will be getting back into NG. I think gold is ready for a big move UP and NG is cheap.

I have a buy order in at 3.72. I like this one, but that is where I see it in the shorter term opportunity. If it gets there, I will bey. If not, I will opt for something else.

Just got out again - feel there are better places to put my money these days. I can't get a feel of where gold is going. Put my money into AAPL - SBUX - DECK and it seems to be working out better. Good luck to all you longs. I'll still be following closely.

the RSI was already low and oversold and they had a sell-off because people over-reacted to a "pr" stating that Chief Operating Officer, Gil Leathley had retired, plus it also had a short interest in it, Gold prices are heavily manipulated and I always buy "fear" just like in 2008 and ride them up for nice gains...

This is my "Long" term play unless something happens out of the normal with this company.

You may want to check out JAG for a possible short term play it's RSI is also low and oversold and i'll add to my position in the .60's.. unless the chart shows otherwise...

Gold needs to hold support this week and next week should start the next trend upward... in my opinion...

That's why i was saying i will wait until Friday to see what the chart is showing because if the price of Gold itself can maintain support this week then it should start trending next week for the next leg up, (gold) that is and i feel the stock price of this one could follow in recovery starting next week. Went ahead and took a chance and took a starter position @ $4.55 only kinda stuck a toe in because they still have time to manipulate the "Gold Prices" trying to lead people to believe in there is a run-up and things are getting better on Wallstreet, still believe come January our economy will start showing a more clear picture, if they try to keep the "False Run-up" of the Market or things turn sour, so i'm in for now unless the Chart turns ugly then i will bail like a worm on a hot rock and wait until later to get back in...

Been waiting for an entry point with this one trying to figure out where the bottom is on this thing, "Gold" may dip a little more in the 1,600's not sure, who knows, with all the manipulation with Gold prices, but I will be Long this one, unless major things happen with this company of course or the chart just turns sour. Also gonna see what happens with JAG it's a roulette play though with that one...
