That's a good question....could go to 1,40's next support ! I don't follow the news from $NOG....oil prices from last year august are increasing so the next Q's should be fine....well when pps goes to 1,40's that should hold !

Halcon’s book value is almost the same as Northern oil but Halcon is trading at $7.50 and Nog at $1.99

The book value of NOG stands at $7.37 but it’s trading at $2 while AXAS trading at $2.40 with $0.66 book value. The point is it’s really hard to understand how stocks move.

Shouldn't oil stocks trade relative to the price of oil. School me call me newbie.

It's always something mostly internal. Oil@ 70.00 makes it more viable to produce.

I believe higher oil prices will effect most sector stocks but this is a stock that trades on more than one market with more exposure. Check NOG historical price when oil was in the 80's and see where it was trading and let me know.

I don't know why it is trading on the weak side ?? But with higher crude oil prices I would think NOG will have a much better profit earnings.

It’s hard to comprehend the fact that NOG’s book value is $7.37 but it’s trading at 2.20 and AXAS is trading at $2.40 while its book value stands at $0.66, I just don’t get it.

Hi buddy...well after the run from .60 to 3usd in just a few months this is a normal retrace if you ask me. What now with the next steps? That's a good question....1.90 should be a support for sure....so imo it could be testing 1.90's.

I truly believe the run will continue in the long term because of the oil prices and the natural gas price gain from August last year.

Oh I was never out my friend why your asking...and I'm still long & strong. Last I bought just a 700,000 shares at 52's....but now I'm stopping with buying....I will buy more when pps goes to 30's or 20's otherwise it would not be smart to buy more at this point for me....I hope some day I have 10 million shares....I'm not far from that.

I sold at 90....but indeed $NOG could hit $6....I sold because imo overbought at this point but I could be wrong....but easy talk for me I bought at $0.60's.....most of the times I bought to high or I sold to low.....at $NOG I whas very lucky

am new here, Bought shares 12/15/2017, and have
been very happy. $1.49 to $2.53, + 1.04/+69.8% in
one month. Just wish I could do as well with other
holdings. Any long term holders here thoughts and
projections. Oil up in 2018 so far near $ 3 a barrel.
Gas here in E. WA. is now $ 3.11 a gallon, $ 2.89 in
town.
