It sounds as though you are implying that CBMM is leveraging the personal connections it has with Mark Smith to block financing of the Elk Creek Project. Not only would that be unethical, I think it would be illegal as management and the board have a fiduciary responsibility to shareholders. Furthermore, Mark and other management and board members are shareholders. They stand to gain by having financing proceed. Allowing CBMM to block that makes no sense to me at all. It sounds like conspiracy theory stuff. My original response was that I think it is highly unlikely, but I will strengthen that to zero chance in my opinion. I don't think Mark takes orders from CBMM.
Big speculation. The Team proudly speaks of their niobium reserves.
Exactly why he might be ordered to do so....

Agreed pm. Just need those furnaces!
AMEN, Boilermaker!
Niocorp does not follow your schedule
The demo plant is scheduled to run for two weeks. Jim assured us he would put a PR when it commenced operation. No PR means those two weeks have not started yet. After the two week run they must crunch the numbers and use the data to update the FS. They need to know the % recoveries in order to update the FS. If Jim issued that PR tomorrow, I would be amazed if the revised FS is issued by September 1. Potential financiers have investors and BODs. They expect the people making decisions to make them on the best available data. They know there will be a lot more data available in the next 2-3 months. I believe there will be several PRs in that period. First one will be demo plant is in operation. I believe Jim will keep us updated with results. I am anxious to hear confirmation that the revised flow sheets for processing work.I am very interested in % recover for REEs. You can come back with all the vengeance you want or you can face reality. The mine is not going to get built without financing. Financing is not going to happen until financiers see all this data. I really doubt they will start signing papers the day after they see it. No amount of vengeance is going to change that. It will however help to depress the stock price.

DM, thank you for reaching out to the news outlets. Many realize it took extra effort and time and appreciate your efforts. So many have also contributed a lot on this board. Local NE's providing on the ground reports and joining many other shareholders traveling long distances at great expense to attend shareholder (AGM) meetings, tours and town hall meetings. And still many others researching hundreds of hours or reading 650 page feasibility studies. We all have the same objective which is to see this mine get built and reap the rewards of our many years of sacrifice of time and money so we can all retire early or at least have a better financial situation. Now is not the time to sour or give up. If we were ever closer than ever, it is now.

I will make a pact….zero negative talk for the rest of August will come out of my mouth….But September 1st I’m back with a vengeance! Is that fair enough? I want this mine to happen as much as anyone! You all know this! I’ve put a lot of free time promoting this company! I would like some help from others as well! EOM!!
$NIOBF!
Chill out and don't post crap that hurts yourself as a long. That makes no sense. You aren't going to put any pressure on management by constantly bad-writing them. They know what they have, they are calm and collected, and they are taking tge time it takes to maximize it. They hold way more shares than us. That's plenty of motivation. EOM.
It's August 1st. Bring on the summer fun and leave the gloom at the front door. All there is in front of us and worth discussing in my opinion is what is the status of the furnace delivery? If it takes just 2-3 weeks to obtain REE results from the furnace separation tests, I would think this would be the primary focus.
That thought terrifies me....But it also gives management another list of excuses on "Why" they cannot get this mine financed. I am a little shocked how $NIOBF has completely glossed over the face we are on our "3" feasibility study???? Most people/Investors would say why so many?? How can they not get financing for any of these studies?? Management has zero pushback from the share holders so they will just continue to make new excuses on why?? Not being negative just asking "real" questions that never seem to get answered expect "mark is the best", "this is not his marks first rodeo", "Mark started molycorp before he bankrupted the company", " mark only hires the best" yadda, yadda, yadda....Here is what I have done for $NIOCORP:
I have called numerus local and national radio and tv programs, I have emailed numerous radio and television programs, I have tried to market/advertise for $NIOCORP( TOLD THEM I WOULD DO SOME WORK FOR FREE) And what response do I get back from management? ZERO? So please tell me how much extra work others have done for this company?? I am the ultimate team player I just feel like I am being played as of late. I am curious how much extra work some of you have done to help promote this company!! Look forward to all these excellent ideas and feedback from you all...
Cresus,
I definitely do not think that is the case.... CBMM is inextricably tied to our fate and will complement not cancel our output. With the exponential demand forecasted in the next years, the world is going to need many sources of critical minerals; it's an all hands on deck situation and even with multiple suppliers, there will still not be enough materials to satisfy demand for these minerals!
I too agree, no matter how we got here (and we can all voice our chronological playback asessment), i believe the key to our success lies in the outcome of the demo testing (if we can get it started). This is the 'long pole in the tent', and we are all waiting and waiting with baited breath..... Every indication looks positive, chico lays it out very well from top to bottom in an objective analysis, one can probably not read & absorb that recurring analysis summary (that he posts) without coming to the conclusion that we are on a very positive track with a very high probability of success within a short time. Combine that with the recent 'geopolitical developments', i.e., the maniacle push for alternative energy sources (even at the expense of the health of the economy), EV production number explosion, both sides of the political aisle on board for accelerated DOMESTIC sources of critical minerals/materials in light of the dominance of mineral supply by countries that do not have our best interest at heart...
Connect dots, do your own DD and put it all together and i have come to the inescapable conclusion that we are sitting in the 'CATBIRD SEAT'... MEEEOWWWW
Admittedly, I too am very critical of things sometimes, but for the most part my aim/focus is getting the facts and getting a transparent passdown on status regularly. I maintain that it is imperative that the shareholders know what the status is (within compliance guidelines of course, and there are ways for seasoned execs to keep the shareholders updated........ we need to hear the good, the bad, the ugly, the warts, the unvarnished, unadulterated truth and status. That is what i want and vocally pursue.
Looking forward to 'material news' , i.e., the start of the demo testing upon having all hardware in place.... chugga chugga chugga.... the 'Lil Engine that could'
Yaddddddda Yaddda...

And we have a board member connection if I'm not mistaken.
He defently has his connections, from my pov now all depends on the outcome of the demoplant and the result of the revised FS, if this all looks green we will see a happy eoy.......
Patience is boring and takes energy, but what else to do...
I think that's unlikely. If I'm not mistaken, Mark has deep personal ties with CBMM.
I read this board regularly and haven't read an opinion like yours. We are all entitled to our opinions but certainly yours is one that no one else has expressed openly on this board that I can recall. Interesting for sure.
I have a strong feeling that someone does NOTwant this mine to be built.
The delays and wrong promises are too prominent to be ignored.
The Chinese do not have this influence but CBMM DOES>>>>
I'm with you Omaha! Niocorp is ahead of the pack in so many ways & we have an experienced team. I share in the frustrations with many. Getting ANY of these projects off the ground, financed & built is still ONGOING!

That's not what I wanted yo say to that post but you did a great job. Very well said thank you sir. Ps. See you at ground breaking.
Well said!
I firmly believe this team will bring this project to completion.
Read it and reap boys and girls!! We’ve been duped for the past 5-7 years and millions of dollars!! Sad but completely true! These guys have taken advantage of us shareholders! Shame on you mark and Jim shame on you! How do you fellas even look into the mirror and not feel guilty?? Lord knows if I worked a part time job and mislead people with wrong timelines over and over I would resign and ask for forgiveness!
https://www1.salary.com/NIOCORP-DEVELOPMENTS-LTD-Executive-Salaries.html
BTW, this is what they make $$ yearly in a part time capacity lol how dumb are we to keep paying these clowns??
They couldn’t get it done fast enough to make up for the last five years of goal post moving, because they had nothing but wishful thinking of financing, and they didn’t want shareholders to know.
And Mark Smith saying he’s growing tired of waiting for the entity that is going to give us 80% 20% tells me that was never the plan all along and now he’s letting us down easier because he knows it was always going to be totally different, even if our REE’s do give us a boost. It is just too bad his trusting friends don’t come through for him.
Or he has no trusting business friends, who trust him.
I hope I’m wrong but that is how I feel about the last 5 years.
JMO
AO- I agree
Any entity that can finance a project this size does some serious DD. They have seen all the PRs that we have seen. They know Niocorp is sitting on a major REE resource. Niocorp has said they believe they can extract and refine those REEs. A financier will say “That’s nice, now prove that you can really can do that on a continuous 24 hr/day basis.” The demonstration plant provides that proof. I am sure they have seen Scott’s revised flow sheets for the whole processing plant. They will want proof that all that can be done. I think this demo plant is a crucial step.
They have probably seen the video in which Mark says he thinks we will see some significant improvements in CAPEX and OPEX. A financier will say “That too is nice, now show me the numbers and also show me exactly how much effect these additional products will have on cash flow.” Potential financiers know all this info is forthcoming. I just don’t see them making any major move until they see this info.

I’m sure your wife is a Gem,
Im also sure she looked very beautiful walking down the aisle to you, during the official private placement.
I’m happy things worked out right from the beginning,
Being in love forever, what a wonderful thought.
I hope you had many entities together.

Haha Walter, I know the feeling. Will be wearing the ring for 36 years next Monday. Best investment I’ve ever made, even considering LWLG.
on a more humoristic note. i select a junior mine with the same care as I selected my wife when I was very young. So many years later I am still very happy that I made the right choice. Times have changed but at that time we also had to wait a few years before consumating the first benefits.

Stock price is no higher than almost a decade ago???
Really ????
Look at the chart in this post.
2012 -2013 it was around 10 cents; I bought some at 8 cents at that time .
So that is at today's prices x 8 or even x 10 .
We did our first private placement over here with many investors at 20 cents January 2014 , so that is still x 4 since then ( and I forget the warrants at 25 cents which we executed )
So many over here have a gigantic profit at the moment...
These are FACTS .
Please read some history on NioCORP. IN the mean time we have made tremendous progress on the ground , the economic value is increasing and we are just waiting for the catalist to catapult us to higher prices. ...
I was told the same by BS by posters about LWLG many years and now I see a number of multimillionaires in my neighbourhood in that stock.
I understand that waiting so long is frustrating for everybody but investing in juniormines is not for everybody.
If this team cannot deliver NOBODY can... But I believe in the team...
This is exactly what I am doing . Buy when there is blood in the streets .
When I believe in a stock and the shareprice sinks under my average costprice I am a buyer.
I was a big buyer yesterday of a certain stock at 17 Cad yesterday that had some problems( CO2 issues) but thinks it will solve them.
That's the way to make money friends investors. Picking up undervalued stocks with huge potential.
When I am invested in a stock I become part of the team.. I organize presentations and contact investors.
Thanks for sharing Crit. Hard to say if the 3rd Quater (July -September 2022) presentation has any changes from the previous presentation. A good question for JS to save time comparing.
I remember, back in the day, it was all about teaching the investment community, about our minerals.
Those were the good ole days.
I guess if someone stumbles onto the NioCorp website, it's all there.

There are plenty of folks who come on here once in a blue moon that don’t really give a damn if the stock is financed or not they’re just playing the chart, right?
Present company excluded of course.
Current Mgt has only been in place for 9 years. Check out these construction projects that lasted between 10 years - 2000 years before they were completed.
Just my opinion, but, based on many posts, once the furnaces arrive and they begin firing up, testing should be completed in 2-3 weeks so we are not that far off from getting the economic data on the addition of REE's.

NioCorp Developments Ltd. is a U.S.-based mineral development company focused on developing several superalloy metals from the proposed Elk Creek, Nebraska Critical Minerals Mine. NioCorp plans to produce three commercial mineral products — Niobium, Scandium, and Titanium — from a single ore body in the Midwestern United States. NioCorp's Elk Creek Project is highly unique. It is North America's only niobium / scandium / titanium project. It is the highest grade niobium project in North America. It is one of the largest prospective producers of scandium in the world. Once in production, it will initiate the first production in the U.S. in decades of Niobium and Scandium. All three of the Project's proposed superalloy metals have been designed as "Critical Minerals" by the U.S. Government.

Overview of the Elk Creek Project: http://www.niocorp.com/elk-creek-project/
U.S. Geological Society description of Elk Creek Carbonatite
"The Elk Creek carbonatite, located south of Lincoln, has the potential to be one of the largest global resources of niobium and rare-earth elements (REE). These REE's have many important applications in industry, including petroleum-cracking catalysis, steel alloying, and glass polishing, and as sources of permanent magnets and phosphorus for television and lighting.
The Elk Creek carbonatite is buried beneath about 500 feet of overlying rock and is known only from drill cores, which, until recently, have remained proprietary. Scientists from the USGS and the Conservation and Survey Division (CSD) of the Institute of Agriculture and Natural Resources at the University of Nebraska--Lincoln have studied drill cores."

About NioCorp
NioCorp is developing a superalloy materials project in Southeast Nebraska that will produce niobium, scandium, and titanium. Niobium is used to produce superalloys as well as High Strength, Low Alloy ("HSLA") steel, which is a lighter, stronger steel used in automotive, structural, and pipeline applications. Scandium can be combined with Aluminum to make super-high-performance alloys with increased strength and improved corrosion resistance. Scandium also is a critical component of advanced solid oxide fuel cells. Titanium is used in various superalloys and has extensive uses in aerospace, defense, transportation, medical, and other applications. It also is a key component of pigments used in paper, paint and plastics.
