djj, have you had any luck with promoting this company on other boards? We have to find a way to inform others about this wonderful company. Any suggestion appreciated?
HERE IS A LITTLE BIT ABOUT THE COMPANY
They sell out their harvest at the famous Fulton Street Fish Market in NYC in a matter of minutes and have been offered premium prices to get all they can grow. The fact that their equipment filtrates every 45 minutes and keeps the water fresh and uses the waste which is reprocessed into a fertilizer for hydroponic farming is amazing. No other company in the nation does that. Their processing system also creates methane gas which powers the automatic feeders and motors? Their aquaSphere has been designed to float in any body of water, withstand ocean currents and waves and can raise both saltwater and fresh water fish,
i agree there is so much potential, other than the oil and
gas sector and the management is on our side which they
think the shareholders are part of the team.
To Moderator INDY, are you in charge of updating NPDI? There are several links relevant to this company that should be added. How do we go about doing it?
I hope so. This stock is a lot better than the gas and oil stock. I liked the management and the direction. There are countless thousands of customers that could benefit from NPDI technologies.
good morning! i think we will see up from here.
things will start happening i think.
That's great. I hope it is the start of a nice uptrend. This company has a lot going for it. Financials should get better once the company moves forward.
I DUMPED HTOG! my interest is npdi, i admire a company
who has it together and for once a real management grew
you can count on. my word- a company that sell fish to feed
the world, uses it waste for plant food and bio- fuel.
whats there not to like. i be buying in all this week
and next. i will be getting notes from the company
later on.
Good decision. Welcome. Are you a regular on the other message on the yahoo gas and oil message board, too?

About Neptune Industries
Neptune Industries is a technology company which from inception has been committed to achieving sustainable, eco-friendly aquaculture by innovating and pioneering a "total and comprehensive integrated systems solution" approach to the mission critical challenges facing the Aquaculture Industry today. Dwindling supplies of wild caught stocks used for fishmeal, and the continued environmental damage, escapism, and disease caused by self-polluting net pen systems, have severely restricted Industry growth on a global basis.
Our mission is to utilize our expanding production operations base of all-natural, sustainable farm raised seafood products, as the working platform for the development of innovative, next-generation technologies to dissolve current industry bottlenecks. Further, our commitment is one of systems integration that targets "zero waste." Fish, organic produce, and waste-to-energy systems synergize to form a production model with multi-revenue streams.
Thus far, the Company has applied for patents and has made significant progress in the development of three technology platforms, one of which its calls "Ento-Protein"; the second of which it calls "Aqua-Sphere," and the third of which is known it calls its "Aquaponics." Taken together as components of a whole, this total integrated system solution approach addresses what the company believes to be THE three critical problems stymieing the growth of the Aquaculture industry which will invariably cause it to fall increasingly short of growing worldwide demand.
Aqua-Sphere(TM) is a state-of-the-art scalable, modular, floating closed containment system that is capable of concentrating and removing solid waste, eliminating predation and escapement, utilizing alternative energy for remote applications, and isolating crop from the environment.
Ento-Protein(TM) is a truly revolutionary development pioneered by Neptune to be a high quality, sustainable protein derived from insects which is intended to be a replacement for the rapidly depleting fishmeal made from wild caught feedstock species and is currently a $7 billion market.
Aquaponics is the existing practice of integrating fish and plant production through soil-less culture (hydroponics) using the waste effluent as fertilizer. Neptune has advanced the methodology through the use of the Aqua-Sphere(TM). The hydroponic system provides a revenue stream off of the waste component of the fish production through very high quality organic herbs and vegetables. In addition, as another part of the water treatment and Aquaponics system a derivative product of algae is grown in floating socks, which is the 30x more productive than corn on a per acre basis, for the production of bio diesel.
Finally to validate and test Neptune's solutions and technologies, the Company operates a sustainable fish farming facility in Florida City, Florida called Blue Heron Aquaculture, Inc. Blue Heron currently is one of the leading producers of hybrid striped bass, which it markets nationally and internationally as Everglades Striped Bass(TM). Neptune Industries, Inc.'s Algae Production System Featured in Bio Diesel Magazine
BOCA RATON, FL, Jul 24, 2008 (MARKET WIRE via COMTEX) -- Neptune Industries, Inc. (OTCBB: NPDI), a next generation aquaculture technology company, headquartered in Boca Raton, said today its "Fish Farm to Fuel" technology is featured as the cover story in the recently released August 2008 edition of Bio Diesel Magazine. An online version of the article can be viewed at http://biodieselmagazine.com/article.jsp?article_id=2557.
Neptune is pioneering a new technology for commercializing the production of algae that uses the waste that is generated from fish farming as fertilizer.
The company received a Farm-to-Fuel grant from the State of Florida in January 2008, and has since developed two pilot scale floating production systems that are expandable, and suitable for any water-based environment. The company is currently working with a number of different algae species which could lead to production of more than 14,000 gals of bio diesel fuel per acre. Incorporating algae production into a fish farming system saves production costs of the algae, while allowing the independent operation of each system.
Mr. Sal Cherch, Neptune's Chief Operating Officer, said, "We believe that producing 'bio diesel' fuels from fish waste could make a meaningful contribution to solving the energy crisis, and we are delighted to see the company's work featured in a major industry journal. By using Neptune's patent pending Aqua-Sphere(R) technology as a platform, the production of algae, which is then refined into bio fuels, becomes an economically viable method of producing millions of gallons of fuel."
Bio Diesel Magazine stated, "Neptune Industries Inc. and its subsidiaries have come up with a way to solve a long-standing problem in aquaculture -- how to keep the fish excreta and uneaten food from becoming a pollution problem," says company Chief Executive Officer Ernest Papadoyianis. "The company's technology, called the Aqua-Sphere(R), keeps this waste out of the environment and collects it so it can be used for other purposes. One of those purposes is algae production for bio diesel feedstock. Neptune Industry's algae system is uncomplicated and takes advantage of the Aqua-Sphere's(R) environment."

Great job ...
Jp
As I said, I have watched this company closely for about 2 years before taking a position. The two main questions (in my mind) for this company will be the financing ... (at what cost do they enter the ento-protein industry ... at what cost to shareholders do they make key acquisitions ... and how quickly do they take advantage of present market advantages...) but I remain both fascinated and impressed by the initiative into the alternative fish meal industry. Without a doubt, this is the bold move that could seriously set this company on the map for good. The move toward organic certification AND becoming extremely green is brilliant and will make for an interesting play when the street really grasps how well thought out everything is. They need more employess ... but I believe that will come. There is no more time to be cheap, time to invest now. I also believe the company is extremely well positioned to make some serious moves within and industry that has no real leader in our country. The potential for growth is significant as there aren't many well organized players in the US. But they need to move quick and take advantage in the next 12-18 months. What they do in the next 12-18 months will tell the tale.
Successful phase II Ento-protein test results are huge and more important I think than phase III tests. But this is the kind of company that if they can successfully develop entoprotein and sell aquashperes beginning in 12 months ... will make for a very interesting company for the next 10 years.
And as far as trading goes ... I'm not sure there are too many who have traded well lately. I buy and hold for he long haul after very carefully getting in. I think anything under .50 stands to do very well in the next 2-3 years here. Selling has dried up after the last 10-Q ... so we should move back to .45 on light vol. From there, we'll see, but I also expect to begin to see good things out of Blue Heron farm fairly soon.
Best to all,
Jp
The way my trading has been lately, I question if I can add anything worth posting. But I do have a position in this company and have this site bookmarked. GLTA
New to Neptune as a shareholder ... but have watched the stock for 2 years. I think the timing is right for any making an entry point now. I hear they are better than break even this Q with farm operations and with greater prospects as they stock the completed expansion. That is of course in addition to the big picture of Aquabiologics.
I am looking for investors who will engage in serious reflection and seek to be a part of the ongoing DD process. Is anybody still here?
Peace,
Jp

Neptune Industries, Inc. Announces Commencement of Phase 2 Research Trials on Ento-Protein(TM)
BOCA RATON, FL, Sep 04, 2007 (MARKET WIRE via COMTEX) -- Neptune Industries, Inc. (OTCBB: NPDI) announced today that its Aqua Biologics, Inc. subsidiary has begun its Phase 2 research trials with Mississippi State University on the development of its patent pending Ento-Protein(TM). Ento-Protein(TM) is a high quality sustainable protein derived from insects, and is intended to be a replacement for the declining fishmeal products now used in fish and animal diets. This phase of research will include feeding trials on hybrid striped bass with diets substituting 100% of the dietary fishmeal component with Ento-Protein(TM) meal. Concurrently, the Company is structuring the final Phase 3 research for extended growth trials, which are anticipated to begin in October. The successful completion of Phase 3 trials would pave the way for the implementation of commercial production.
Mr. Sal Cherch, Chief Operating Officer, stated, "We are extremely pleased with the results of our Phase 1 research efforts, and strongly believe that Ento-Protein(TM) will successfully provide a sustainable, all-natural fishmeal substitute. A staggering 25% of all world fish production goes into fishmeal and fish oil. The world supply of fishmeal is so isolated geographically, that every metric tonne of fishmeal travels an average of 5000 km before it reaches the end user. This has enormous economic implications in supplying the global markets. Our ability to locate Ento-Protein(TM) production sites worldwide would provide a viable solution to this serious problem. The key to the rapid and successful expansion of global seafood production is through the sustainable commercial production of a high quality dietary protein. Ento-Protein(TM) is the logical choice to eliminate the industry's dependence upon wild fishmeal as a dietary protein."
