There is a saying, 'Buy on the rumors and sell on the news? For the last month the stock has been rising on rumors and news of a merger and name change. Well in the last few days it has happened and now it's selling on the news. I thought it might be up a little today and then selling late day and tomorrow but it looks like the selling may have started early.

price of hydrogen doesn't matter - NKLA is making their own ($0) and cost of the infrastructure is built into the annual lease price for the trucks.
May be selling to other hydrogen vehicles in the future at 100% margin.

you do know fuel cell technology was first deployed by space scientists in the lunar landings of the 1960's. NKLA just winning of their knowledge.

The whole excitement around NKLA is that they are partnering with people in areas they aren't experts in so to de risk the business plan. Using other manufacturing lines until they can learn and build their own, hiring industry experts with decades of experience to manage the production, etc.

hydrogen will be a failure unless it's sold for $1 in diesel price. batteries, im also sceptical, cause nkla dont have space scientists and rocket engineers at hand. so, long puts will be my play
