LDTI Leisure Direct to Acquire Location in Indiana
PERRYSBURG, OH, Apr 26, 2007 (MARKET WIRE via COMTEX) -- Leisure Direct, Inc.
(LDTI) announced today that it is in the process of acquiring a spa dealer
located in Evansville, Indiana. John Ayling, Chairman of Leisure Direct, stated,
"The acquisition of this dealer, following the opening of our new location in
Cincinnati, demonstrates our commitment to building shareholder value through the
acquisition and integration of profitable dealers and manufacturers in the
backyard leisure industry."
The dealer is a company owned location of Royal Spa Manufacturing of
Indianapolis, Indiana. Bob Dapper, President of Leisure Direct and founder of
Royal Spas stated, "We are excited to bring this location into the operations of
Leisure Direct and anticipate strong sales and EBITDA results this year. This
location has posted consistent sales and earnings results over the last five or
six years. Our goal for this location is to drive sales in excess of $1 million
with EBITDA of more than $100,000 within the next two years. Furthermore, we have
retained strong sales and marketing talent who will continue working at this
location."
The company disclosed that the terms of the acquisition did not require the
issuance of any common stock. The acquisition will be accretive to Leisure
Direct.
Leisure Direct's business plan includes acquiring or opening 50 to 60 locations
over the next three to five years, with 10 to 15 of them being consummated in
2007. Leisure Direct will announce additional dealer acquisitions over the next
few days and weeks. Once its initial dealer network is established, the company
intends to acquire manufacturers of backyard leisure products.
