Where is a link to the legislative action to ban shorting. Shorting has been around since the 1600s and it is legal.

But it isn't for OTC investors as it far more complex that being long. And it costs a great deal of money.

You have to have a margin account.

You have to locate shares to short - then there is the borrow rate and margin maintenance fees.

And the nasty $2.50 rule. Which means that that every share you borrow to short that is below $2.50 you will need to have $2.50 per share in your margin account. So if you borrow 1 million shares of MULN you will have to have $2.5 million in your margin account.

Let's say the price of MULN is $0.50 you now have $2.5 Million of dead money in your margin account.

But the upside you won't get a margin call until the price of MULN goes over $2.50 per share.

On MULN only those shorting the stock have made a profit other than the insiders.

Ah ha ha ha.... Can't short forever. Now comes the pain for shorters. Shorting will be made illegal oh so soon. LOL

As long as NASDAQ continues to allow Mullen to continue to do reverse splits - people will continue profit from shorting .

But you should keep buying - as you are clueless about shorting.
