Moro Corporation (MRCR)

I read an article recently that referred to local bridges needing repair. In it they had a map (believe this is the same one). If one looks at the regions serviced by Moro (JM Ahle) there is a good chunk of business to be had in the coming years. SO even though construction in general may not be where investors are looking I think we'll hold our own. Then factor in that the HVAC has been doing excellent, we have one recent deal to add to EPS and the company has strong EPS and the ability to easily finance another deal or two (if opportunity arises and Mr. Menard has been able to do some great deals based on past history). So things are looking pretty good both now and in the future in my book!

Welcome I think if you are a long term holder you'll be happy. It seems whenever I have a fair amount of cash and Moro is in this price range I can't resist adding but I own a very good position as it is.

We'll also get the benefit of the most recent acquisition going forward which is good for a few cents. I believe Mr. Menard may still be looking at deals too and I have liked his track record.

4) Managed in a similar fashion as Warren Buffet for microcaps. Acquires good solidly profitable (though low margin companies). Wants management to stay on. Invests in growing acquired companies and looking to acquire at low multiples. Mainly HVAC and construction at this time but open to other areas.
5) Forget the bumps and look at growing revenue, EPS, consistent profitability, return on equity. Stable share count (deals financed in mix of existing cash, debt and equity/equity stake to explain the occassional jump)
6) Its thinly traded, CEO owns majority stake. Was exchange listed went to Pink Sheet (With sarbanes oxley) and now OTC-QX listed.

Thanks for creating a board on one of my favorite companies! I found this board by chance. I've been a (small) shareholder for some time (good luck adding shares on the cheap) and since reading the Interview and getting more information have really gotten excited about the company and potential and adjusted my position (as much as could reasonably be done with the small float).

I am eagerly awaiting the Q4 results and hopeful of some very good numbers. If there is interest on the board I will post more detailed info. For now I'd suggest anyone interested in the company or even if you enjoy a good "value" investor read to read the interview Mr. Menard gave (it really picks up at the second page or so).

This is a pink sheet company but IMHO shouldn't be put in the speculative category with other Pink Sheet companies. This is really a gem of a company!!
