a few questions;
1. how is this likely to engage someone more than the many sales ads one can read while walking through the mall?
2. for someone already using say -- Retailmenot's app or another that already identify when someone is near or in a mall, will this add anything to their experience?
3. in the interview the CEO indicated that it is really important to avoid annoying the shopper by 'pinging' them multiple times -- that a single 'ping' may be the most advisable. If that is the case do you guys think that may still be enough to generate significant revenues back to MOBQ, and if so what kinds of numbers do you think are realistic, and why?
thanks, ted
Mobiquity now moving onto college campuses. I think this is great news for this company to expand their network to colleges. Now, they just need to get into airports, stadiums and other venues around the globe. But this is a positive sign. Beacons are on the upswing. The malls are already in their pocket covering all of Simon malls.

GARDEN CITY, N.Y., Oct. 2, 2014 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Mobiquity Technologies, Inc. (MOBQ) ("Mobiquity" or "the Company"), which has created a leading national location-based mobile advertising network in malls, has extended its reach to college campuses through an initial deal with Stony Brook University.
Users of the Stony Brook mobile app will receive contextual information and promotions through the Mobiquity Networks' beacon network. Fans of Stony Brook that don't yet have a Stony Brook app will be able to engage using Mobiquity's multi-technology platform, which includes Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, QR codes and Near-Field Communications (NFC).
At Stony Brook, the technology will be employed in the newly renovated Stony Brook Arena. The deployment will help the university fulfill its mission of transforming the athletic facility into a showcase for Long Island athletic and cultural events.
The 40,000 square foot arena, fresh with $21.1 million in renovations, features a variety of design enhancements including a new bowl seating configuration to provide an intimate atmosphere for more than 4,000 spectators; modern arena video technology to enhance fan experience; a new competition basketball court and improved practice courts; and enhanced fan amenities including new concessions, restrooms and an expanded concourse.
"The fan experience will be the best in the school's history, and we're pleased to be a part of it," said Michael Trepeta Co-CEO of Mobiquity Technologies. "Beyond that, Stony Brook University will have the opportunity to work with select and appropriate advertisers who would have a new way to reach a highly-targeted demographic of college students."
Mobiquity Technologies already has a leading national location-based mobile advertising network in malls. The Mobiquity Network includes 100 of the premier U.S shopping malls and will grow to more than 240 in the coming months. The network presently covers nearly 3,000 unique retailers with over 15,000 storefronts.

Professor T - I'm on the DD case and will likely take the plunge as soon as some funds free up. (thanks again)
I will say the low average volume here stands out & aside from filings PR is skimpy. Makes one of our other favorite stocks look like a chatter box.
Still building a base here ...picking up shares as we go along... this one is a ways off...they are building a hell of a company here...anyone stumbles on here... do the DD this is a great company and a stock for the future.
Thank you sir. Going to be going long here. Like what i see

I have no idea what your asking when it comes to Apple... but you can possible find answers to your questions here... sorry cant help you.
http://www.mobiquitynetworks.com/
any concern about Apple endorsing--strongly NFC? Does that imply anything about the use of instore beacons? I would think it doesn't, but thought I'd ask.
Glad to see ya on the MOD list Gregg... this is a good one, for those that have the patients to add and wait...
Here is one of the things that will separate this company from others. They have put the PR from yesterday out this morning in the form of an 8-K
By doing this, it takes away any doubt that the information in the PR is anything less then accurate and true. Anyone can put out a PR...but add an 8-K to it and now the SEC will be on your ass if its (the PR) been falsified in any way. Big things coming this way thats for sure.
Adding daily. Good Luck to everyone.

BIG NEWS OUT TODAY

SnipSnap Embeds Mobiquity Technologies' SDK to Increase App Usage and Deliver Relevant Real-Time Location Based Offers to Their 4 Million Users Across Mobiquity Technologies' National Mobile Ad Network
Mobiquity Technologies, Inc.
55 minutes ago
GlobeNewswire
GARDEN CITY, N.Y., Sept. 9, 2014 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Mobiquity Technologies, Inc. (MOBQ) ("Mobiquity" or "the Company"), which has created a leading national location-based mobile advertising network, reached agreement with mobile app SnipSnap to enable distribution of localized offers to approximately four million SnipSnap app users when they are shopping in a Mobiquity Networks mall.
Mobiquity Technologies has the largest shopping mall-based beacon advertising network in the country. It includes 100 of the premier U.S shopping malls and will grow to more than 240 in the coming months. The network presently covers nearly 3,000 unique retailers with over 15,000 storefronts.
SnipSnap, which puts mobile coupons on the phones and in the hands of consumers, has installed Mobiquity Networks' BLE Beacon SDK in its mobile app to gain access to the network's exclusive indoor location-based signals.
Through the integration of Mobiquity Networks' SDK into the mobile app of a retailer, brand or demographically relevant partner, companies can initiate a rich in-app experience, contextual promotion or delivery of a proximity-based special from the mobile app the instant a shopper walks by one of the network's beacons -- from as close as one-foot up to 300 feet away, depending on preference.
Campaigns run via SnipSnap and Mobiquity Networks will be triggered by beacons in mall common areas, resulting in increased engagement with the SnipSnap app.
SnipSnap allows consumers to redeem mobile coupons and also get expiration-date notifications and in-store reminders.
"The company is choosing mobile app partners like SnipSnap based on relevance to the mall in which consumer engagements will occur in order to maintain the best shopper quality of experience," said Michael Trepeta Co-CEO of Mobiquity Technologies. "Through access to Mobiquity Networks, apps like SnipSnap, as well as retailers and brands they serve, have an unmatched and enviable ability to be in front of millions of shoppers as they are making their purchasing decisions."
"This relationship with Mobiquity Networks extends our ability to provide offers and value to our customers at precisely the time when they can act on the deals that they receive," said SnipSnap CEO Ted Mann.

Quietly going about their business of building a winner here in my opinion. Not expecting anything spectacular soon, but when it does come...folks had better be loaded up or they will have missed this one completely. Good Luck everyone.
Thanks... I stumbled on it and love what I am seeing, slow builder with a great future IMO. Going to be spreading the word around and get some more people involved here... They have an excellent business plan from what I am seeing.

MOBQ
This is from the Q filed for June 30th Looks like they have some major expansion planed for the rest of this year.
The Network
Through our various agreements with mall developers and strategic partners, we currently have deployed physical devices throughout 100 of the top shopping malls across the United States and we have a planned expansion of up to an additional 165 malls over the next several months . These devices work together to create our NETWORK, which provides advertisers the opportunity to reach millions of mall visitors per month with mobile content and offers when they are most receptive to advertising messages. We are also planning to expand our network into other venues, such as; stadiums, arenas, colleges, airports and retail chains to name a few.
The highlights of our network include the following:
100 shopping malls (expanding to approximately 265);
Represents approximately 120 million monthly shopping visits (expanding to over 200 million visits);
Provides access to affluent, highly-sought-after demographic; and
National coverage – Top 10+ DMA’s throughout the country, such as but not limited to; New York, Los Angeles and Chicago.
Our location-based mobile marketing network is designed to reach on-the-go shoppers via their mobile devices. We offer extremely targeted messaging and content engineered to engage and influence shoppers as they move about the mall environment. Mobiquity’s Mobi-Units and Mobi-Beacons are strategically placed throughout the shopping malls common area, near entrances, anchor stores, escalators and other high traffic and high dwell time areas. Mobiquity’s Mobi-Unit and Mobi-Beacon placement takes advantage of the opportunity to provide a reminder to consumers just before making a purchase decision. These devicesgenerate high awareness and brand recognition at the right time and place.
GM everyone... looks like this undiscovered gem is still a great buy for anyone who has the patients to buy and hold.
The information in this PR is nothing less then a glowing endorsement for Mobiquity... as of today Simon is trading for $169.00 a shares. Not often a company of this stature partners up with an OTCQB stock...unless they really have something to offer. Big things head this way in the coming months...ground floor opportunity for all who want to take the time to look into MOBQ

Ace's Mobiquity Networks Acquires Patented Proximity Marketing Technology
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Proximity_marketing
this is huge IMO, especially because
"The Mobile Marketing Association, in partnership with IHS Global Insight, studied U.S. mobile marketing expenditures and their impact on sales for the "Mobile Marketing Impact Study," released last May. The study found that this year spending on mobile marketing-including mobile advertising, mobile customer-relationship management and mobile direct-response marketing will reach $10.46 billion. By 2015, spending will likely approach $20 billion."
Their earnings keep going up and up each quarter. This will be big time in the near future

December 19, 2013
Amsterdam, 19 December 2013 – Mobiquity, a mobile engagement provider creating innovative solutions that drive business value, has acquired Dauw Design in Utrecht, the Netherlands. Dauw Design has an excellent reputation in the market regarding app design and is especially well known for its intuitive, ergonomic and minimalistic design. The Dutch expansion of Mobiquity, announced this past October with the acquisition of Xaton, follows the growth of the company in the US. In 2013 Mobiquity opened its 9th office in San Francisco, California. Financial details about the transaction are not disclosed.
Dauw Design has deep knowledge and experience in the field of app design, working with a user-centered (UX) design philosophy. Mobiquity, with its strong focus on UX design, as well as mobile strategy and core technology, will add the Dauw Design team to its Amsterdam office as the core of the Mobiquity UX design team in Europe. David Pavlovic, owner of Dauw Design, will work as Design Director, Europe.
Dennis Tilgenkamp, Managing Director Mobiquity Europe: “I’m very happy with the acquisition of Dauw Design. This is a young company with an incredible track record in app design. Quietly being accumulated and trending up. I wonder what people know that we don't. If I see a form 4 hit anytime soon then I'm in
I'd like to know as well, because this stock could easily be diluted to all hell and with a avg price of .45 you could stand to lose a lot. Contact management and try and get a feel for dilution or promotions, that would be my approach. As for now I'd rather be on the sidelines watching the game. Many seem to think this is undervalued as is FWIW
