kp and enery - I think many on this side of the Atlantic have trouble seeing how this type of trading is generally accepted as legal. However as it appears to be, I think those in GBRC watching this board should acknowledge the great wrong that has been done to many elderly investors in the UK and give them a pathway spelt out on their website as to just when and how the conversion from MSRM is likely to take place.
I agree with enery - I don't trust anything from GBRC until people in the company start answering specific questions about the way out of this mess.
enery - We should always look at the 'downside potential' as well as the 'upside potential' of any stock. Investors need the free flow of opinions from all posters and my suggestion to Fogg was that the GBRC board is a better place for that right now.
I don't really care if you invest or trade GBRC.
To each his/her own!
Do your own DD .. verify your own info ..trust your own instincts.
GLTY and let's hope they convert soon!
KP
I have been following the GBRC board, but until my MSRM shares are converted and I have the choice to sell or hold the shares I have no real interest in buying GBRC shares.
My original shares offer, from the wonderful Auston Rowe, was for a company that had this great technology that got oil from tires. I rejected this as being a waste of time and unsustainable. Oil from tires just seemed a daft idea to me and still does.
They came back a few weeks later with another wonderful company, with even better technology that could get nearly 100% of the oil from the shale still in old oil wells or from dredging harbours and environmental spills.
Seemed something the US government would get behind and profitable. The MSRM web site talked of only that at that time.
I was shocked to hear mobile stream oil announce there new tire processing process / factory.
It was almost the only thing now on their web site.
GBRC is (as far as I am concerned) the same company and people.
As fogonthetyne says - Give me my GBRC shares (unrestricted and ready to go). Acknowledge I exist as a valid shareholder and I will listen.
Until then the GBRC board is just so much Hot air.
I will continue to follow the GBRC board, but I have no intention of investing my money with GBRC. For me, at this time, they are still just Mobilstream under a different name.
Not a company I could trust.
i only the frank got market price for stock and real crook got rest of money. that happen in all boiler room scam. never by anything over the phone.
kp - hmm, I somehow think I won't be getting into this as a sideline!
Strikes me it ought to be stamped out, but perhaps I'm being a bit legalistic [and unrealistic].
It's a house of cards. It almost inspires a grudging respect for Pringle and his team for getting out there and actually doing something, even if it's dodgy on the financial side.
Fogg - Investors here in the US are allowed to sell stocks 'short'...basically selling first and buying (to cover) at a later date.
Long investors use message boards to 'pump' a stock to try and encourage buying and make the price go up. Short sellers or 'bashers' downplay the stock because they have pre-sold the stock (sold short) and want the price to go down.
Bashing is no different, or more illegal, than pumping as long as 'fraudulent statements' are not used to accomplish either one. This is where the real rub comes in because aliases are used and posters hiding behind those tend to use fraudulent statements and innuendo that cannot be verified.
The two camps don't seem to like each other. Zoo comes to mind. LOL
Each investor should always consider the 'downside potential' of any stock as well as it's 'upside potential', so I like to see both views and come to my own conclusions.
I suggest you follow the GBRC board rather than this one for your DD and don't believe everything you read. lol
GLTA
dragon man - thanks, I thought that was it.
You can probably tell I know absolutely nothing about penny stock trading. Everything I say is guesswork! But I'm gradually getting the picture.....
The mystery for me is how these guys can be allowed to trade in something they don't own, haven't got certificates for [and never will have], and is basically not negotiable in the sense that it's very doubtful that any title could be legally transferred anyway due to the fraud that started it all off....!!
These "certificates" we are holding are really only evidence of a one-off contract between Mobilestream Oil Inc and the original subscriber, ie the first subscription shares as forward split into tens of thousands in some cases.
I know some law....fraud does not automatically make such contracts void. The situation is that they are "voidable" at the choice of the defrauded party. If we choose to hold the principals of the original deal to their contract, we can. The principals are now trading as Global Resource Corp. I don't think they've lost this original liability to the subscribers.
Even if the agents were scammers, they were acting for the principals. I'm certain the principals as Mobilestream Oil Inc gained financial benefit from the scam arrangement. I've outlined this before. They knew what was going on. All this stuff from attorney Fox about the principals only coming to know about it later is crap.
They got caught with a dirty shell....bad luck guys....now buy your way out of it by converting us to GBRC.
kp - the frustrating thing is GBRC clearly has a business and is trading in something.....presumably something more than just promises.
Their R&D is active although the evidence is a bit scanty. Machines are being developed. There are joint venture partners, all have featured on here.
Meanwhile back in the pinks market, the skulduggery goes on....dragon man talks about "shorters" coming on this board to knock the stock....What is their agenda? I assume they want to make it look unfavourable, so people sell and the price drops...they then pick it up for a song and cash in.
Is that what's going on??
Yours, confused
Company Strengthens Senior Management Team With Two Key Executives
WEST BERLIN, N.J., May 1 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Global Resource Corp. (OTC: GBRC.PK), developer of a patent-pending microwave technology and machinery for extracting oil and gas, today announced it has opened a new GRC Engineering office in Rockford, Ill., designed to house the company's engineering design work and sales engineering, with the exception of the microwave tubes, as well as provide operational support for all manufacturing projects.
The company also announced the appointment of two senior executives to its management team: Lennart Hedman has been appointed to the position of Vice President of Engineering, and Scott Dunbar, who assumes the position of Vice President of Operations. Both previously served in executive positions at Ingersoll Production Systems, a strategic Global Resource manufacturing partner.
'We expect to save approximately $8 million in cost for potential orders placed in the first year of the new facility's operation, based on our revenue projections,' said Chief Operating Officer Jeff Kimberly. 'The team we've assembled has close ties to Ingersoll Production Systems, facilitating seamless communication between our engineering and design experts and our manufacturing partner. This will quicken our time to market and enhance our ability to make custom adaptations to our products.'
Mr. Kimberly said the addition of the Rockford office will ensure that Global Resource has the right expertise in place to fulfill potential orders while maintaining reliable and safe operating systems in the field. He said all aspects of the engineering will be completed from the Rockford office including all mechanical designs, electrical and fluid schematics for the material processing equipment, pipe and wire planning layouts, software and logic, and material balance calculations.
The Rockford office will also be responsible for developing auxiliary equipment solutions for total turn-key systems including gas and oil filtering and storage, loading and unloading methods for raw incoming materials and final products coming from the process. In addition, the Rockford office will work on the drawing packages for its enhanced design of the production microwave tubes.
Global Resource's new senior executives bring a wealth of expertise to their new positions. Mr. Hedman, who will lead Global Resources engineering activities, previously served as Vice President of Operations and Director of Engineering for Ingersoll Production Systems, where he led the design activities for the GRFR1 prototype unit as well as the on-going design work for the Global Resource systems that will be put into full production.
Mr. Dunbar, who will lead Global Resource's operational support, previously served as Director of Operations for Ingersoll Production Systems, where he was in charge of various aspects of operations including management of assembly operations, master planning and scheduling, production control, machine shop, shipping and receiving and facilities. His experience also includes the management of manufacturing and production for ITT Pureflow, which provided pharmaceutical process systems, bioreactors, ASME pressure vessels and custom stainless steel fabrications for use primarily in the BioPharm industry. He will be responsible for fabrications for the Global Resource systems, support for the manufacturing builders, such as Ingersoll Production Systems, and for the auxiliary equipment required for complete turn-key programs.
About Global Resource Corp.
for any body that does go to gbrc board, there lot action going on and may be good reading. it look like 2 people are shorting stock in gbrc and they come on board to knock the stock. that my opinion and every one should form there own opinion.
Fogg - MSRM originally registered X number of shares with the SEC. Where those shares have 'traveled' over time is the question. The total number issued apparently remains the same.
It all appears to be under SEC control now and the best and only explanation we have is the company one.

GL to all of us!
KP
kp - not unreasonable assumption it's Aston Rowe
I bet they come on here to gauge opinion
I still don't get how this works....everyone is convinced all this MSRM stock was issued on the back of a fraud, yet stock certs are provided by a tame broker [Manhattan Transfer] now off the scene
Yet how is it that MSRM is allowed to trade? Do pink sheet stocks have some kind of independent life of their own, with everyone "shorting" ie not having to get hold of actual certificates that are still in the hands of the original scammed individuals??
No one wants to be caught having to get hold of the real certs because that is not possible. Yet there are folk on here hanging on to their certs to participate in the conversion to GBRC.
So how to reconcile the two strands?? People are trading the stock without proof of title and could never in fact get hold of it
Whopping short interest on April 14 for GBRC = 1,574,903.

DM - I thought you were seeking an answer from the SEC investigator. Any reply yet? KP
can any one buy msrm stock at that broker office. it lock down at scottrader and i see that 1,000 share trade hands to day
pacor - By forcing everyone to discuss MSRM/GBRC, instead of other posters and their motives, IH may lack the 'drama' of the other boards, but all that juvenile chat gets old quickly and shouldn't be used for investment decisions anyway.
Someday I would like to be able to subscribe to a board where all information had to be third party verified by a TRUSTWORTHY ENTITY before it could be posted.
I would be willing to pay a higher monthly fee for that!
LOL

Thanks again ...but Acrobat is a 'long' on my machine....maybe a cookie is missing.
Thanks KP.....even allowing your reserve the Yahoo board has recently shown a definite lessening in 'excitable' posts ...I'm sure due to more sensible and informative offerings from such as yourself and one other. The rest is entertaining to a point but, on balance, IH is well out in front. IMO. Now to wade thro the latest SEC submission.
Vancouver broker update......
nothing....they aren't interested by the look of it. I don't blame them. They are probably wondering why I don't approach some outfit like Scottrader or whatever it's called.
pacor - The letters are 'pdf files' which require Adobe Acrobat to be installed on your computer in order to read them. ??
Pacor - I had an old handle on the Yahoo board so I couldn't use kennypooh.
I stopped posting there quite some time ago because the 'juveniles' had ruined it as a place for investors to share and learn...with their foul language and uninformed attitudes. I started again when Hawk was posting after the breakup. Prefer Ihub! kp
i do not know. i try and see what i can do .
DM...there are some recent 'new' photos plus an investor letter on the GRC website. I can access the photos but not the letter. Is it my computer or is it a website issue?
Just got further up to date KP ..no response needed thanks.Looks like your explanation re FP's previous banning of postings was accepted.
KP.. was your 'GREEN' message on the GRC IHboard from the posting on Yahoo....or are you actually 'Pollarken'.Do you not find it interesting that we have never succeeded in getting GRC to the IHboard(s) but they are now freely answering questions on the Yahoo board? Up to date info re conversion (now approx 2/3 thro 90 - 120) would be more than welcome at this time.
the warrent we to buy more gbrc stocxk. look on gbrc wed sight and you should find the curtain price that warrent is callable at and when the warrent die..
so does mind. i at scottrader.
The Specifics are in the s-1 filed 2/12/08.
http://investorshub.advfn.com/boards/read_msg.asp?message_id=26838514
The information mentions 1 share of GBRC for 7.143 shares for MSRM plus 1 Global warrant for each 3 shares of Global received. Does anyone have specifics on the warrant?

Mobilestream Oil, Inc. Signs Memo of Understanding with Global Resource Corp.
WEST BERLIN, N.J., Oct. 30, 2006 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Mobilestream Oil, Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: MSRM.PK) and Global Resource Corporation (OTC Bulletin Board: GBRC.PK) jointly announced today they will be entering into a preliminary, non-binding Memorandum of Understanding for Global Resource Corporation's ('Global') acquisition of the assets and business of Mobilestream Oil, Inc. ('Mobilestream'). Mobilestream owns certain microwave technology, embodied in a pending patent, and various proprietary trade secrets for technology that had been exclusively licensed to Carbon Recovery Corporation. Global has recently acquired the assets and business of Carbon Recovery Corporation, including the exclusive license. The technology is a method of decomposing petroleum-based materials by subjecting them to variable frequency microwave radiation at specifically selected frequencies for a time sufficient to at least partially decompose the materials. The initial application will involve the decomposition of waste tires, as described in Form 8-K filed September 27, 2006.
It was originally intended that the licensee would be the operating company, while Mobilestream would continue its R&D into the development of further applications for the technology, including: (1) re-cracking heavy or slurry oil to retrieve the components of hire grade fuels; (2) the recovery of oil from oil shale and oil sands; (3) the reduction of hydrocarbons in drilling cuttings to permit on-site disposal; and (4) the stimulation of mature oil and gas well ('stripper' well) production.
Upon analysis however, both Global and Mobilestream believe that, given the interrelationships of the Companies' management and the probable interface of the R&D with field operations, it will be more efficient, both financially and operationally, to combine the Companies. It is anticipated that the current management charts and the respective responsibilities of the licensor and licensee will be adjusted for maximum effectiveness.
The major acquisition term not yet resolved is the value of the Mobilestream technology and its reflection in the securities of Global. Mobilestream is retaining Corporate Valuation Advisors, Inc. to provide a fairness opinion on the terms when negotiated. Corporate Valuation Advisors, Inc. has previously evaluated the tire decomposition portion of the Company's technology and is therefore generally acquainted with it.
