LOL...if the headset comes out MTEK will be a multibagger on news (and not only technicals)
And because management has kept his promisses this year on every PR (emotiv headset selling on the website, new ticker symbol, ...) I believe the new headset will truly be innovative and become the new golden standard.
Thanks for the post alexander. Now I have "The Wall" playing in my head...LOL
Mind Reading: Technology Turns Thought Into Action
http://www.npr.org/2011/05/12/135598390/mind-reading-technology-turns-thought-into-action
some very important paragraphs
1. "This is both very exciting and somewhat frightening at the same time. It really goes pretty close to what people used to call mind reading.
- Gerwin Schalk, ECoG researcher, Wadsworth Center"
2. Watching The Brain Listen To Music
In theory, researchers could receive signals from hundreds or even thousands of electrodes. So far, they haven't gone beyond dozens, yet the results have been spectacular.
Schalk shows some of what ECoG can do in his lab. There aren't any animals or test tubes here, but there are plenty of computers, including one playing Pink Floyd's album The Wall.
Schalk is showing me the results of experiments he did using ECoG to monitor people listening to The Wall. He points toward two waveforms on the computer screen. One shows the mountains and valleys that represent changes in the music volume; the second waveform looks very similar, but it represents the electrical signals generated by the brain in response to the music.
"There's a very close correlation between the actual loudness in the music that is just playing right now and the intensity of the music that we're decoding or inferring from the person's brain," Schalk says. "Isn't that pretty awesome?"
The brain signal is so distinctive you could almost recognize the music from the waveform alone, Schalk says.
In the second part of the music experiment, volunteers listened to Pink Floyd for about 10 seconds, then the music was interrupted by about a second of complete silence.
The experiment shows that while it may have been silent in the room during the test, it was not silent in the volunteers' brains.
Schalk's computer screen shows that even when the music stops, the waveform from the brain continues as if the music were still playing. What we're seeing is the brain's attempt to fill in the missing sounds, Schalk says.
"The brain basically tells us a lot of information about the music in the times when there is really no music," he says.
It's a vivid illustration of something neuroscientists have been studying for many years, Schalk says. Whether it's musical phrases or strings of words or scenery we look at, our brains are always filling in missing information.
==> And that is when Doug Frank of Warner music (former president) comes in. Both Doug and Gerwin are in the advisory board of mtek/mso.
Very big news is coming.
or not..good call Alexander
great volume today, 1.4 mil and rising
Official PR on name change. Good follow through MTEK
I don't know if JEDM will...but I have a feeling MTEK should.
Certainly looks good. Its a bit too early to call a real breakout, but on a weekly closing basis JEDM broke a pretty important trendline this week (draw a trendline along the tops of the white candles on a weekly chart and you'll see it). There is still some resistance to work through but all in good time.
I think the ticker change has something to do with it, but the new headset developments are helping. JEDM is slowly transitioning from theoretical to practical, and should be generating some real revenue by the third quarter or end of the year.
Thanks for the link Goldbond. Nice!
BrainDriver - a mind controlled car
Looking good today. Name change may be the key.
NEWS: New Ticker and CUSIP number.

The only direct criticism I see levied against JEDM is about the quality of their website, which is a fair critique. JEDM really should redo theirs. Nothing specific in the link you provided that speaks to any problems with JEDM's software. Almost all the gripes are directed towards Emotiv.
I'd buy some more at .005 but it looks like .007 may be a possible floor. Looks like the battles lines are between there and .011 right now. Honestly I'll probably just sit on what I have and look to trade somewhere else. This one is a little too jumpy for reliable trading.
Seems like this person is just a complainer. Regardless, most of the criticism is aimed at Emotiv, not Mind Tech. Nice try, though...
From the emotiv forum.....some talk about Master Mind...none too complimentary, it would seem...
http://www.emotiv.com/forum/forum16/topic1334/
I'm looking for an entry of .005 - still at this level, I think you could have some nice gains (50% no prob) if you get out at the right time. Too risky for me right now
I don't really rely on candlesticks per se, but ADX, stochastics, bollinger bands, etc work very well.
I agree about the stock being extremely cheap here, but I'm waiting to see if it goes on sale more before putting any more cash in. This breakout could be months away and I've got better things to do than watch my money bounce around aimlessly. But that's just my style, I absolutely agree it's a good value here and anyone selling is either desperate for the cash or just completely stupid. If I didn't already have a position I would start one here. JMHO
Hey Techtrade...
Got your message...
I just don't put much stock into technicals. I don't believe a 'candlestick' or any other pattern means much of anything...especially when it comes to a stock like this where there are other 'forces' at work.
As for guessing the bottom...of course that's just about impossible. All you can really do is buy where you feel is a comfortable level. Personally, I think they're giving the stock away right now...who knows?
I suppose that's one way to look at it.
Hard to figure out where support is, I'm more inclined to keep an eye on resistance and see when that gets broken. Guessing bottoms can be tough and ultimately lead to big losses if guessed wrong. I was hopeful that resistance would get broken a couple of weeks ago, but I'm not completely surprised that it wasn't.
I haven't read any posts about 'support' or technicals looking great for a week or so. I guess that's the bright side of this downward spiral...
I wouldn't call it smoke and mirrors, but yeah it's all theoretical and nothing tangible yet which is why it's having a hard time breaking resistance. If you look at their earnings reports they are clearly not generating any significant revenue yet. Assuming though they actually bring the BCI headset to market, that should go a long way towards putting the company on a more solid footing and pave the way towards some interesting growth prospects, as I believe this field is wide open and has great potential. I have a relatively small position in this company but I'm in it for the long haul. Any additional shares that I buy will be if I see the opportunity to do a quick flip to skin a quick profit or get some free shares.

could be why the pps is going south with all the news. lately if i lose $20 bucks on a trade i dump it for minimum loss.did it once with this thing and surely won't hesitate to do it again! hope i dont need too.
lmao! you keep pushing the pps up for me. i could use a 10 bagger here!
MSO is worth nothing much....it's nothing but an entity that doesn't trade. No way they could raise any funding based on its nebulous value.
This company is mostly smoke and mirrors, imo..
I've got a full-brain wireless electroencephalogram sensor headset on - I'm staring at my charts - and pushing the share price and volume of JEDM upward - with my mind!
Too bad the markets closed!
Seriously, I have little doubt that this technology will catch on and take off. But there's still a big risk involved at this point. They are in the final phases of a developmental stage company, and need to begin production and distribution. A lot depends on the next steps that management takes. Just have to wait to see.
"funding from mso over sea's should reduce pressure on jedm here in the u.s.a.!!!". i'm actually up on a stock when i bought this today.maybe she turns around here now.
I've followed JEDM since just after the 08/09 run up. At first I was skeptical that they would ever do anything or produce any viable product. They actually did, but their software isn't much different or better than is available bundled with the EPOC. And sales are abysmally low.
Most of their news is basically fluffy.
I'm quite skeptical that they are actually developing a headset, as that would be quite a significant undertaking, requiring R&D and manufacturing capabilities, something I wonder if they are capable of or set up for.
Further, one would think that emotiv would not be happy if they tried to market a headset...and may sue them.
JEDM getting some 100k hits, gonna break a mil vol easy today
i got in on last news, only to see it drop.not sure if i want back in on this news.
Yeah that didn't work out well at all. I took my lost and moved on. I got a nice run out of this stock in the past and thought it could do it again...but unfortunately doesn't look like that will be happening. I'm NEVER long on any stock. I will trade a stock and keep it moving. So if I buy a stock and it doesn't do what I expect it to do...I SELL and I am on to the next one. The keyword in my comment that you quoted was "hope".
The word is definitely out on this stock...hope to see the stock move this week. Not working out too well, is it?
The word is out? Good golly. This stock has been unable to attract any real interest or excitement for over 18 months now. Mostly just hollow news and vacuous announcements.....and scads of dilution.
The chart is pathetic enough to give one wonder...and run most likely.
looks like this should reverse soon! i hope!
You're going to have to be patient if you want to be in on JEDM. This is definitely not a quick flipper right now, but I believe that within the next two months there will be a meaninful break to the upside. The 750 shares at .052 were meaningless
Whether you decide to bail or wait patiently is of course up to you. I understand the frustration, but I also know that patience is a sound long term strategy if you believe in the long term story of the company. My patience in GSDC was rewarded last week, I think it'll happen with JEDM and several other names I'm in as well.
GL
The word is definitely out on this stock...hope to see the stock move this week.
I'll be excited when I "see" it on CNBC's TV station. ie; Jim Cramer wearing it, lol.
When we can visibly see the new headset that JEDM is working on and see it on the market, I believe things will change for the better. Also, when the products get significant exposure (fierce advertising/real exposure on a national TV network like 60 minutes), then things will happen. Until then, I think we're in a holding pattern.
JEDM mentioned on CNBC!!!

also mentioned on IT News Online:

im down a lil bit at the moment (7%) but I think I will be ok next week. Don't see it going lower...but I could be totally wrong. I do know that if it goes down too far...I will cut my loses and move on to the next...BUT for right now I am holding to see what this coming week brings. Hopefully we will be up soon.
If everything goes down after you buy in....change up what you are doing or start shorting everything lol
why you think this is going down with all the good news? shorting, bidwhacking, no good manipulation!
i believe it will flip next week.what you think?
14%...One of the lucky ones.
i'm already stuck 14%...be nice to have a stock go up after i buy it! will just have to scrape up more funds to avg down once it bottoms at who knows where.
I think they will use part of the money to promote their products.
We might witness some publicity and exposure in the up-coming few weeks.
I got a few tickets today too...curious to see what happens. We NEED volume though
Friday is always a slow day as you know, I bought my tickets,
I'm fastened and ready for Monday...
Thx for the link, things are looking great here no doubts.

Jedi Mind, Inc. (Pink Sheets: JEDM) announced today that a "60 Minutes" article aired this last weekend gives a great deal more credibility to "mind control" software and hardware applications. During the "60 Minutes" article, the Brain Computer Interface or BCI was detailed which is basically an EEG cap that reads signals from the brain.
