Pico Projector Displays
Better Viewing Experiences from Mobile Devices
Microvision is working with business partners to enable better viewing experiences for users of mobile devices. Sharing photos, watching movies, and giving presentations using the small screens of today’s devices limits our ability to imagine, entertain, and share.

Microvision is the number one choice for OEMs who wish to breakthrough through the display bottleneck and provide customers with new viewing experiences. From embedded projectors that sit inside a handset to accessory projectors that connect to mobile devices, Microvision's PicoP display engine offers OEM customers the ability to design next generation mobile devices that delight customers while creating new business opportunities.

PicoP™ the engine powering our future
PicoP™ is the name of Microvision’s proprietary display engine. PicoP is an ultra-miniature projector capable of producing large, high contrast, color rich, high resolution images. PicoP is small and low-power enough to be embedded directly into mobile devices, such as cell phones.

Potential display applications based on the PicoP display engine are numerous. We are currently working with partners on the following applications:

• Pico Projectors that can be embedded into mobile devices or stand alone accessory pico projectors that connect to mobile devices,
• Vehicle Displays including head-up and instrument cluster displays,
• Wearable Displays including helmet mounted and mobile device eyewear.

Wearable Displays
Better Viewing Experiences
Microvision is the number one choice for enabling new experiences in head worn displays that connect to mobile devices. From rugged military helmet mounted displays to lightweight mobile device eyewear displays, Microvision's ultraminiature PicoP display engine coupled with its optical expertise offers customers the ability to design novel wearable display products that increase business opportunities.

Vehicle Displays
A better Driving Experience
Microvision is the number one choice for automotive suppliers who wish to enable next generation vehicle displays. Microvision's ultraminiature PicoP display engine coupled with its optical expertise offers automotive customers the ability to design head-up displays or instrument cluster displays that place visual information where the driver can use it. This creates a new level of driver delight while at the same time, increasing safety in and around the vehicle.

Head Up Displays
Microvision is working with automotive suppliers to develop and bring to market an automotive laser head-up display (HUD). Microvision provides a scanning engine subsystem, based on the PicoP display engine. The scanning engine subsystem may be integrated by Tier I suppliers into a HUD product package suitable for automotive manufacturers. Microvision's automotive grade PicoP display engine offers HUD designers the ability to produce high quality images with high contrast and brightness that are day or night readable

Vehicle displays for navigation and hands-free communication.

Instrument Cluster
Dynamic Information, Full Color, Anywhere Displays
Microvision is working with automotive suppliers to develop and bring to market next generation instrument cluster displays. With the Microvision PicoP display engine, interior electronic designers can design information dense displays in virtually any shape and size, maximizing the limited space available in vehicle cockpits. Differentiate your vehicle and wow drivers with dynamic, brilliant, full color displays throughout the cockpit.
