Oh, forgot one other relevant point -- June 4th MVIS will likely be added back into the Russell index. Can't imagine required institutional buying will hurt the share price.

Sorry to see you go Howard, good luck to you in wherever you land.

Also sorry you don't seem to see the bigger picture that has been painted over the past 6 months. Summit Sharma has his flaws, but overall he has done a fair job of guiding the company back to a point where it has a future again. He has prioritized the long range lidar development, has successfully managed cashflow during difficult times, and positioned the company to capitalize as the front runner in a huge new market segment.

As for your never see $20 again, the numbers are not in your favor on that prediction. Market projections for automotive LiDAR alone support a $20/share valuation possibly by the end of this year, but more likely first half of next year based on likely ramp time for contract manufacturing in quantity. Add in increasing royalties from the near eye display contract with the April 2017 customer, and what appears to be ramp up for interactive display on a smart speaker and it is pretty easy to see how sustainable $20 share prices will happen in the not too distant future.

Alternately, company value for a M&A deal looks to be somewhere in the $5.5-7.8b range -- that is roughly $35-50/share with the current float. Obviously no guarantee they will get a deal done, and I would expect a deal to come in at the lower end of that range in any event, but we've seen some surprisingly generous deals hit the news over the past year so who knows what the top end might be.

I personally know 4 people who were on the call, along with myself.

They talked about the A Sample testing out at or above expected performance specs, they confirmed that the contract manufacturing arrangements are in place and can scale up on short notice, and they sneakily confirmed the April 2017 customer is now playing with military contracts and that benefit will trickle down to us at some point.

Not a bad call all in all.

Would have liked more detail on a number of things, but didn't really expect anything new or substantive because they are prohibited from talking about most of that stuff by SEC FD rules.

Not holding my breath for buyout news -- normally it is the buying company that makes that announcement.

I would like to see some information about the Automotive Lidar -- production capacity, how many evaluation units have been distributed to how many potential customers, test results from the production units, etc.

I would also hope to get some clarity on the royalties from our 2017 customer and how their new military contract will affect the royalty payments.

It's amazing how people here keep saying the company has no products, but...they have Royalty income. If you don't understand that, it means somebody is making MVIS's product, and paying MVIS without them having any expenses for it.

1st Q '21, revenue was up 25% Q over Q, so that isn't terrible, right?

Oh, and they just brought out their new Lidar unit, better than others that are NOT on the market, and they expect orders sometime in the July ~ Sept time period. And more orders in the 4th Q.

Hmmm, for a lousy company (as other posters say) they seem to be doing pretty darn good.

Or maybe it's the Touters who are trying to push it down??? Maybe they are getting paid by someone? Maybe the shorts are putting out false info, to scare regular stock holders to sell...? All kinds of interesting things going one, it would seem.

News Flash: stock prices go up and down depending on a wide range of variables.

I've said this before, but I'll say it again in case you missed it. MVIS trading range right now appears to be from about 12.15-17.80. This is a wide range and we are seeing a lot of volatility. Spikes above or below that range are possible, but you see that it quickly snaps back to that range because that is where the value of the company currently sits according to the market. As new information such as orders and increased revenue hit, that price will adjust. If expected developments don't pan out, that price will decay. If we drop below the low band support in the low $10 range and HOLD that price for more than a day, then you can start getting nervous. Until then enjoy the fact that had you been paying attention you are up at least 5x on this and likely to see quite a bit more.

I suppose the same logic can be applied to your comment as well. You offer no evidence of corruption or proof that they are not selling the company. Does that make you scum?

As far as MVIS leadership, they have been as transparent as they can and have been backing up what they say with appropriate actions. While you might be right that a deal doesn't get done, it is not for lack of willingness or trying.

Look at it this way... If you decide you want to sell your house and you hire a real estate agent and clean things up have open houses but don't immediately get an offer does that mean you weren't trying to sell your house? What if you only get low ball offers well below what you know the property is worth? Should you accept half of what your house is worth just to sell it, or continue to take care of it and looking for someone who appreciates the value?

Based on the information we have, I don't think a $2b valuation is unreasonable at this point based on where they are at in the product cycle and the projected market size. As they book orders and revenue from their automotive lidar line, I would expect valuation to move up accordingly and don't think $3-3.5b valuation end of year or early next year would be unrealistic based on expected business.

The fact we see strong institutional buying in the low to mid $10 range suggests they also believe the current value to be around that mark as well with potential to grow.
