Agree price seems excessively high. Anyone have any idea why other than location? I do like the fact they are keeping management and growing different acquisitions with their own identity.
Looks like 50 dispensaries will soon be a look at history.
Price tag seems a little hefty. Obviously this is a play at the Colorado Springs medical market/license:
"The consideration for the proposed acquisition is US$10,540,000 and will be paid as US$1,000,000 in cash and US$5,540,000 in Company common stock at closing, and US$4,000,000 in deferred cash payments."
"As part of the Standing Akimbo acquisition, Schwazze plans to open a Colorado Springs medical dispensary acquired in 2022 under the Standing Akimbo banner."
what's astounding beyond the fact I'm even more pessimistic than you when it comes to government and prospects for Pot, is that a government predicated on graft and having its palm greased with cash can't get behind a whole new industry to help grease those palms, or the tax infusion that allows them to route that tax money to their self-serving cronies. I mean, they aren't even good self-centered grifters. I was really counting on that to make MJ legal, to get this industry moving. When you can't count on sin among a bevy of sinners, it truly is the end of days.
Fortunately I have a booming real estate business. Just a little bummed out that the industry has the majority of common everyday people rooting for them. and legalization. Then we have govenors amongst a slew of politicians who really could care less what the people want and are beholden to no one. IMO, we are years from any meaningful change. Now a certain person wanting to become president wants to associate all this school killings etc. with marijuana.
Good luck, Steve.
Really no reason to add maybe even lighten up alittle. Just no impetus on the horizon. I believe we are going lower. Fl. govenor and his view will not help. No longer are we run by majority rule. GLTA
And officially add lay down NJ to the list today...in the never ending ...as in, "Why we aren't there, Bitch! But did that ever stop the #MSOgang from reminding us only Tier I's?" Not as of today either it seems....are they right Mr. Helper???

As previously mentioned by someone...could also be Texas.
AUSTIN — More Texans could access the state’s medical marijuana program under a bill that passed in the Texas House on Wednesday.
The proposal by Fort Worth GOP Rep. Stephanie Klick adds more medical conditions that fall under the state’s Compassionate Use Program to include patients who suffer from chronic pain. It also increases the amount of THC — the substance in marijuana that produces a high — allowed.
The House approved the bill on a 127-19 vote. The bill now heads to the Senate.
Aside from adding more medical conditions to the program, the bill increases the amount of THC to 10 milligrams per dosage unit. The limit is currently 1% by weight.
The application window runs until April 28. The agency, however, will not make a decision to approve any application until after the session concludes, in case the Legislature passes bills that expand the program.

This was right in tune with the primary focus of how the state of New Jersey expects cannabis license holders to direct/prove their (financial) investment/support. I turned into just the MSO license renewal portion of the recording and that was how each MSO was to justify their renewal.
LoL " non diverse industry " . he has quite a bit to learn . he must have forgot about which race is responsible for creating the modern world , all of that didn't happen by accident or because the peeps who created it were ignorant & lazy . see Jason Whitlock . but yes cannabis is dangerous due to having taken SSOOOOOOOOOOOO MANY lives . now Booker should be rallying to reactivate alcohol prohibition RIGHT ? no . typical hypocrite demo crat .

So what if they decide to increase the authorized shares and allow the 14% notes that were supposed to convert at $2.24/share to convert at $1.12/share or lower? That would dilute the existing shareholders by a considerable amount, but would reduce the huge interest expenses they are paying and make the company very profitable, if they can maintain the revenue and margins they are currently making.
Is any monies going in the coffers from these preferrreds at 8%. If so is it possible they paid off some 14 or 15% notes?
Schwazze is definitely up to something. Soon we will know what this is all about
Looking more and more like an increase in authorized shares likely. Of course IMO.

Additional purchase rights exercised by CRW on 8% convertible preferred notes. Adds about 10.5MM total shares to their total convertible (into common shares) count at $1.20.
Someone selling or new ones coming?
Imitation? It must appear and seem novel as presented. Now watch the twitter advisors glom on to this latest word salad as spewed. The importance of being data driven! Wow, a Tier I has made a bold statement and those of us here are supposed to be uh, impressed? Hasn't $SHWZ been devising their growth for the last 4-years...from a consulting company to the 8th most numerous US publicly traded canna retailer using a methodology which has been data driven? Well, I suppose desperate times call for unthinkable, outside the box measures at the Tier I level, lol! Maybe it will drive their missing financial reporting sooner as well.

A bunch of new PREFERRED shares filing hit... comments?
SHWZ was the only company on the list of the top 13 MSOs that actually beat estimates...

Why would this have an adverse effect on $SHWZ in CO and NM? It doesn't.
$TLRY? They have a patented formula which has been working well for a few years: Irwin Simon + overextended NASDAQ listed canna business = spectacular special-stupid canna failure. See $MMNFF as any relation to a dumb US listed OTC approaching 2-cents on a good day.

In other news, R. Greenleaf reports that their newly relocated Las Cruces, NM store at 775 South Telshor Blvd across from the Mesilla Valley Mall will host a grand opening on 4-15 with the usual celebratory swag, goodies, and specials per their Gratify Rewards Thursday text update this morning.
New lows are definitely possible. Probably below $1 is a given. Hope I'm wrong.
now consider a environment where the blue collar suckers are not subjected to a livelihood terminating random or pre employment B.S. THC test . that number will most likely double . 300 million to 600 million , or maybe 800 million . a large native american presence that is partial to a " pipe O' peace " .

Crowded in Albuquerque? Good. Will make the job there more satisfying and the company worth much more being on top. It will also keep the Tier I' & II's from exposing themselves to what competition is in an unlimited environment where they have demonstrated they know not how.
Blood in the cannals. My bad, but the effects were the same for $MSOS (down) and again...Tier I's all near new or at ATLs...but 100,000 new share creates there? Huh. Someone bought the dip. When or if it's another Canna ETF...well, that will be exciting to watch. $GLASF dead cat bounce today after shaking off a default, so there's little to no hope it seems for the fail to disclose sorts of shenanigans foisted on retail investors. Meanwhile, Tier II $JUSHF makes lawfare a novel way of doing biz and gets sued for $60MM in MA. And OT, my neighbor has sworn off Bud Light. Insanity on display in 'Merica. I enjoy Miller Lite, ala Dangerfield's "No respect", like canna brand $SHWZ. To the tune of an imaginary Oprah's "You get a black eye! You get a black eye...Everybody gets a black eye!!"
Sector burnt offerings to start the week and some predictions: Tier I's pummeled today by $MSOS? In the latter, over 1-million shares traded (betting those aren't share creates when Jungle Java reports late into the wee hours) in/on the ETF. Anyone remember the $MJUS selling here...how does one get excited by redemptions spread over 5 companies by 5 ETFs all packed in like sardines in flaming oil? On the reporting front it appears from the twitter long knives that $GLASF tried to pull a fast one on a default they corrected by a late-night publication lacking any fanfare. As a result, punished as well.
Apparently $GLASF defaulted on a credit agreement during last quarter and had to amend. Looks like it cost them a 2% fee and now they have 1Q to get back in compliance. I wonder how they will do that? What will the dividend and sweeteners be for Series D under these conditions? pic.twitter.com/SFys6bNyEW

Please check my math. I think Steve is correct. I also arrived at 17.4+ percent. All good, but I guess these means $SHWZ is outperforming the NM market's 14.6% MoM up tick?
This month
-------------- -1
Prior month
Certainly wouldn't have hurt since they've had the best return over the past 6 mos., maybe due to being one of very few to start reporting +FCF.
— Sammy J (@sammyj_19) April 3, 2023
And since the one w 14 straight Qs of +FCF is 2nd on the 6mo. list 👇(Stoic), maybe FCF is starting to matter no matter size/liquidity: pic.twitter.com/pxHxYyNHCk
Well, aim lower.
I had sales up 17% from prior month. 15 or 17% very nice to see.
I believe that's also a new all-time high for sales recorded in NM. Is that what good looks like when they are ALL green MoM? Lol! Thank you!!
TAM aka (also known as) Total Addressable Market.
March 2023 Numbers: UP 15%, from February, to $4.1M
I was pulling the dispensary count based on the Annual Report. The count didnt match the numbers on the NM Cannabis CROP site (Dec 502 and Jan 585).
I didnt realize that NM updated their site already until you released that 633 count. So here are the numbers:
Dispensary Count: 633 (March) - 606 (February) = 27 Additional Dispensaries
Overall March sales looked awesome compared to February, even though the month had 3 more days.
February Total Sales: $3,498,752.81 / 28 days = $124,955.46 per day
March Total Sales: $4,108,358.60 / 31 days = $132,527.70 per day
Difference: +$7572.24 per day
What is TAM? THX
So are you guessing or did you do your by store math MoM? Or was it that bad? Ouch? Personally, I'm fine with an increasing percentage of the TAM as they add stores. Carlsbad was a newbie for this report. All things have to shake out --part of the growth cycle and why I'm and not $GDNSF or $CCHWF, etc. Will be interested to see what are the big promos for 4-20.
Definitely getting oversaturated very fast. Prices are probably going to drop thus bringing down margins.
From 550 to 633 in dispensaries in NM in 3 months! Closing in on Colorado dispensary counts, per the annual report, even though the NM population (2.11M) is 36% of the size of the population in Colorado (5.84M). I know out of state sales are strong, but the state has to be close to reaching a breaking point.
"As of December 31, 2022, there were 669 recreational cannabis licenses issued in Colorado, up from 651 recreational cannabis licenses issued as of December 31, 2021.
In New Mexico, there were 200 cannabis licenses as of December 31, 2021, which increased to 550 cannabis licenses as of December 31, 2022."
Nice increase. Hope our sales grow proportionally. Dispensaries are growing fast.
Like to see synergies with added dispensaries along with cost reductions.
alcohol can be consumed under the radar much like cannabis can be . cannabis edibles aren't detected through a breathalyzer style contraption . females can consume say Vodka for example by soaking a certain feminine hygiene product that must be " inserted " that cannot be detected via breathalyzer . the NBA players that do choose to consume THC ( as far as I know there have been for some time now quite a few NBA & NFL players that consume THC ) will most likely perform at the top of their game as a result . yes this sounds ridiculous . there have already been several NBA & NFL players that have made these claims . I personally agree with these claims as I have experienced similar results .
