Depends IMHO. Right now means ALL CE designated OTC stocks on January 31st nobody can buy anymore of- only hold what you have or liquidate such through your brokerage. However, should such OTC stock thereafter see CE resolved and in good faith with OTC standards, then, I believe, the stock can then be purchased again, as it freely trades, but PPS of course would be higher one would assume as well.
Couple associates of mine in Energy stocks for a year now said SEC been cracking down on short selling schemes and eliminating it as most other Industrial Nations already have in their markets.. This may well be another step in that direction regarding OTC stocks and abuses far too long going on everywhere in US equities markets... ???
I-man is this good or bad thing the CE designation?
LOL it did get to 3 cents then shortsold down ??? What a frigging mess...
Unless this is above $1.00 levels nobody of any matter applies here to this stock...
OTC show this getting a CE designation means after January 21st, 2021, no longer can shares of this be purchased through any broker, and only liquidated from said Shareholder's account through that brokerage...
Nice lil run happened here. Ill wait to get on the dip. I like the float too.
Holding nicely in the .020's. Good sign before takeoff.
REFG...LOOKING VERY GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOD
Same for us and we’ve got 3 million shares of it
You would think this kind of event is helping the stock move??? IMO
Recreational Cannabis Could Show Up In New Jersey Within 6 Months
9:46 am ET December 18, 2020 (Benzinga) Print
New Jersey lawmakers have passed a measure to allow a recreational marijuana marketplace in the Garden State.
The legislation will now be sent to Democratic Gov. Phil Murphy, who is expected to sign the bill. Once that happens, New Jersey cannabis businesses will be able to offer recreational weed within six months.
The Democrat-led Assembly and Senate passed the bill on Thursday.
The six-month time frame would be among the shortest wait times from legalization to "market open date" for a recreational cannabis state. In Massachusetts, it took over two years from the time a similar measure was approved to the opening of the state’s first cannabis dispensaries. Nevada took eight months.
Maine, the first to open the adult-use market in New England, had the longest wait: 47 months.
The quick turnaround in New Jersey bodes well for several cannabis players, including Curaleaf Holdings Inc. (OTCQX: CURLF), Acreage Holdings Inc. (OTCQX: ACRDF), Green Thumb Industries Inc. (OTCQX: GTBIF), TerrAscend Corp. (OTCQX: TRSSF) and Columbia Care Inc. (OTCQX: CCHWF). Each company has expressed plans to expand across the state.
Last month, most New Jersey voters supported recreational cannabis in a ballot measure on Election Day. Over 67% of the respondents voted in favor of legalizing marijuana, while almost 33% voted against it.
The move was praised by reform advocates as a necessary step to stop what NORML National estimates to 32,000 cannabis arrests per year.
New Jersey voters also approved a 6.625% state tax on cannabis sales to customers aged 21 or older and permitted municipalities to charge an extra 2% tax. The measure is reportedly expected to rake in $126 million a year for New Jersey once the market is settled.
Cannabis research firm Brightfield Group expects cannabis sales to reach about $460 million in 2021 and $1.5 billion by 2025.
Whether smaller businesses will be granted recreational licenses remains to be seen. New Jersey's cannabis entrepreneurs, not affiliated with publicly traded companies, have been urging Gov. Murphy to not overlook small businesses and grant recreational cannabis licenses without the burden of an exorbitant fee.
Currently, there will be a limited number of licenses available. Reports estimate that just 37 will be available. More licenses aren't expected to released for another two years.

News would be nice since there has not been anything tangible sent out by the CEO in awhile. House bill has to have had a hand in this rise or maybe there is a big dispensary buying their product!!!!
Regardless of the reason, it is all good. GLT to everyone, especially the longs.

I’ve owned this stock to the point where it costs me more to sell my shares than the stocks worth. ??
After that just forgot about it....but with the MOREs act this thing has to get a bump. Anyone got some kind of pt?
Thanks!
LMAO Now that is funny!! Repub negotiation tactic: with holder her weed supply!!!!
LOL, well yesterday, Nancy Pelosi came out and said she is putting more emphasis on weed legislation now than stimulus !! Unreal... Maybe that's what she uses to help control her shakiness...???
Maybe one good thing about a DEM as President is that we'll get weed back on the radar... My other weed stock are feeling it already. Curlf and Apha
There is house vote tomorrow on the MORE act.

There was a time, I thought, their proprietary software system for legal payment processing in this industry, ranked right up there with what early Microsoft's software was back in 1980's for the data processing industry...
Has REFG ever tried to sell their software to this group? CURALEAF?
Currently, Curaleaf has 14 operations and/or dispensaries in these states:
ARIZONA
CONNECTICUT
FLORIDA
MAINE
MARYLAND
MASSACHUSETTS
NEVADA
NEW JERSEY
NEW YORK
NORTH DAKOTA
OREGON
PENNSYLVANIA
UTAH
VERMONT
So tell me why these guy cannot get this done to score big??? This article explains why this stock should shoot the moon. I know why! Our F'ing government would let them, yet!!!!!

5 Things to Know About Cannabis Payment Processing Solutions (This article is about the process not the company REFG)

Does it seem believable that legal sales of recreational and medical marijuana were around $6.7 billion in 2016 alone, with that number only continuing to rise as more and more states agree to legalize cannabis?
We are here to explain that this statistic is in fact 100% true, yet still those that own and run both recreational shops and medical marijuana dispensaries face many challenges because of a refusal of major banks – as well as the federal government – to cooperate financially. Because cannabis is a controlled substance on a federal level, many financial organisations treat legal businesses selling marijuana products as criminals, denying them financial support and making it extremely difficult to safeguard their profits.
Furthermore, many dispensaries must run cash only businesses, which can lead to a vast increase in dangerous and frustrating circumstances, which will be discussed in further detail later in this article. There are some ways, however, to maneuver around current laws using legal methods that can dramatically benefit the owner/operator of the dispensary or online shop. These alternative solutions are often referred to as cannabis payment processing solutions, but there are a few details you need to observe when choosing the right one for you and your business.
Keep reading to learn 5 brilliant tips about choosing a cannabis payment processing solution, or jump to the bottom of this article and find out who is the BEST marijuana merchant service provider of 2020.
Nothing until the SAFE act is passed which "might" help these guys with point of sale system and the banking industry. As long as I have been here I'm not real impressed with CEO or the company. Communication has been non existent. I'm only wait "to see" if I can get some of the $$ back out. It is my believe that the PayPals, MC, VISA will score big when SAFE act is passed and all the work these guys did, way back when, will unfortunately fall to way side... IMO
We'll see!

From the email newsletter "Daily Brew"
While every industry is preparing for any and all outcomes in the upcoming election, U.S. weed companies are banking on a Biden/Harris W.
A joint effort: Sen. Kamala Harris, Biden’s VP pick, said during last week’s debate that the Biden administration would push for decriminalization at the federal level if they win in November.
And if the Senate also flips from red to blue, it will likely be more impactful for marijuana policy than whoever is sitting in the Oval Office.
Republican Majority Leader Mitch McConnell has repeatedly struck down legislation that would allow financial institutions more freedom to work with cannabis companies. If the Senate adopts a more chill stance on weed, it would pave the way for U.S.-based companies to list their shares on major stock exchanges.
Bottom line: August cannabis sales were up 26% in California and 34% in Nevada compared to last year, according to BDS Analytics. A Biden victory could propel those numbers even...higher.
yippie. Maybe we might see some action if the senate ever passes bank bill. With an election year, I cannot image this will happen anytime soon
cheers FX
hallelujah ! Just closed above 1 cent. LOL LOL Will see what future holds here..
JFX you are 100% correct on every point there.
CDC's own numbers on their website state clearly, anyone who contracts Covid-19 has a survivability rate of 99.96% !!! Clear for everyone to read.
Bummer. It would've been nice to have a physical meet and greet to get questions answered.
side thought: This whole covid thing has bugged me for a while now. I think it is real (people dying like the Flu) but contrived with an agenda behind it. Someone or one(s) are benefiting from this over blown event. JMHO
cheers FX
I was planning on visiting the CEO and their store in Vegas back in March, then Covid shut entire region down and my casino and shows !!!
I-man at this point if they talk to anyone who can help them out it sure would be nice. they don't seem to be helping themselves or any of us right now.
cheers FX
Will 10 cents be seen this year for REFG?
Maybe they need to talk to Hans (CEO) over at MEDH about it/??
Recent news in this sector but nary a word from these guys.
Shield Compliance, a compliance management platform for banking legal marijuana-related businesses (MRBs), announced a partnership with California-based KeyPoint Credit Union. The deal will allow KeyPoint to automate its compliance and risk management processes, improve the speed and efficiency of new member onboarding, and offer electronic payments to reduce its members' reliance on cash transactions.
