It will be competition but the chart here has been so strong, I just look at it as a different angle up. If you look back just this month on the news tabs, many large shareholders including IAC bought large positions in the 40s throughout this month. They are reporting holders and no one has sold anything or we would see it. Ive been watching after hours Ttrades too and no major dumps.

I do see this as some sort if competition for Match. But not a game changer in any sense of the word. I am thinking most likely Monday. I don't even care if it hits the mid 20s by then. It would be a major steal.

Well, it was still being mentioned today so I expected some more loss. Looking to buy more late friday or early monday. Still havent seen any changes in ownership of major holders or officers on the news tab so that is a good sign they are not worried and dont see this as a high mark.

I was up quite a bit and was busy yesterday so im still holding at a small loss now. I think they will build back up tho and may cost average down once it settles down. Until facebook does anything all the dating revenue in the world is still between this stock and IAC. We still have at least a quarter or more of revenue and earnings before there would be a competitor from Facebook. My two cents.

I entered last week. I didnt realize they own all the dating apps except eharmony. They own match, tinder, cupid, pof, ourtime, and a couple others. Everyone has seen increased membership and revenue in the last year. Good buy for long hold but still think some good growth that even a short term holder would like.

I believe they over-valued MTCH. Plenty of Fish appears to be the only consistent money maker for MTCH at the moment and have some losing money. Time will tell. Been on radar for weeks anticipating the IPO but not overly impressed with the movement.
