As your link to "Crazy Patents" proves, it doesn't take much to get a patent.

MNZO super bug had no proven clinical value. And it's extremely difficult to defend a challenge to a bug patent.

Of course MNZO had the advantage the patent would never be challenged. As no one was interested in the nonsense.

They genetically altered a bug to produce lactase. Then patented the usage. It cost Manzio some patent lawyer fees.

Then they dosed a few of their employees, who then made testimonials of how good they felt.

What did not happened was a controlled clinical trials sanctioned by the FDA. Where it proved the super bug was any better than probiotic bacteria sold at Walmart. Or the lactase enzyme sold on the market.

It was nothing but a scam.

So what's your take on what's happening now?

A group of retail has put out $6K total for 19M shares. The goal is to get some 3rd party stock site to notice the sudden surge in volume. Then crank out to their paying subscription base that MNZO is a "hot stock". In comes a flux of dreamers from the 3rd party sites. The PPS goes from 0003 to 003, and the group of retail that started it, sell. Who knows maybe the forum makes a top 10 list in IHUB (e.g. volume of posts, whatever).

Then again, maybe absolutely nothing happens. The sudden volume surge goes un-noticed.

In the end it's still a Zombie stock. With no management to pump it, as a follow up.

First you would need a "they". Because currently MNZO is a zombie stock. It has no management running it. WY lists a Arthur Douglas Smitherman, who once claimed on this forum he was once Sec-Treasurer under Kenny. As long as he tosses WY $50 per yr, it stays registered in WY.

Kenny Manzio was run out of the market in 2016 as part of an agreement with the SEC. Then for a short time Morfesis a Real Estate agent in Florida was going to make it into an online vitamin company. That lasted only a few months. Finally in comes Ritch, a self described hedge fund manager who was going to make MNZO into a holding company, pumping in hundreds of $Ms. The SEC

Someone in management (Smitherman?) would have to convince a MM, that all was suddenly in order. So that a MM could vouch for the future behavior of the company by sponsoring a 211. A MM that vouches for such a company can be held accountable by FINRA for the company's future actions. How do you do that? How to convince the MM to take on the risk of sponsoring a 211? Answer: File a Form 10 to register the stock. Given the jumbled history mess of this scam, that would be an interesting exercise. Neither is it likely a MM would bite.

Until you see a Form 10 filed, there will be no 211. And the likely-hood of a Form 10 is nill.

Obviously it was registered at some point - it had to be to become listed on an exchange.

The shell MNZO was reversed merged into was "Fortune Oil Company". That scam came into existence around 2005. It was a registered stock, until 2010, at which point it filed a Form 15-12G, which effectively de-registered the stock, relieving it of the requirement to file Form 10s.

MNZO then reverse merged into a "clean shell". At no point was the MNZO stock registered. Neither is there a requirement that a Microcrap stock trading on the OTC be registered. A non-registered OTC stock is a Pink Sheet stock.

Thus, MNZO did the usual for a Pinky - pay the OTC Market Group a yearly fee to post

And since it was never revoked it's still an active ticker and freely trading if anyone wants to buy or sell it.

Again, it can't be revoked by the SEC as it never was registered. And yes, FINRA will leave it alone as long as it continues to trade. It needs zero trades for about 2 yrs for FINRA to take out the ticker. Until then, the ticker survives, and can be traded.

Again, your examples of an ORYN were registered with the SEC. With the SEC revoking them when they became delinquent in their filings. A lot of these scams get into the situation which filing is the equivalent of a self hanging in front of the SEC. So instead, they take the money and run. Go delinquent. In Kenny's Manzio's case he was run out of the market by the SEC, due to his involvement in another scam.

True, but that doesn't apply to MNZO. How can you revoke the registration of a stock, when the stock was never registered? No revocation, no delisting. Therefore, MNZO will continue to exist as a Zombie stock (no known mindless management) for as long as any trade volume is recorded.

To be clear, Harrington isn't being sued over the delisting.

He's accused of defrauding two companies by selling them clean shells for $60k each, but then never delivering the shells.

Those two companies understandably want their money back.

SEC has revoked many symbols - I posted a link to four that were revoked in the same order.

Revocation doesn't leave a zombie stock, the ticker is delisted.

Last year they revoked SHRK.

Kevin Harrington (famous from As Seen On TV and Shark tank) and one of his investment companies were involved in that one.




And now Harrington and others are being sued over it.


FYI I've already contacted the SEC about removing the revoked ORYN from my account. I called them after the brokerage refused to remove it. As I recall, they told me to ask the brokerage to have it removed. I explained that the brokerage said they couldn't remove it until ordered to do so by the SEC. I don't remember what they said to that, but I decided it was futile to continue trying.

I won't get any kind of write-off for it, but it does appear as an asset on financial paperwork I submit, even though it's worthless and doesn't exist anymore.

If the broker wanted to bee a "full service" Broker for ya (LOL ), they would agree to your request, that they buy all of your shares for $1. Minus whatever transaction fee they want to charge. In return you finally get to claim a tax loss.

and ask how a Broker can refuse to remove a stock which has been revoked or delisted? If they agree it should be, then the next step is demand they do so. Else FINRA will be contacted. Also the keeper of the brokers.

In 2017 they revoked these four shells that were all grey (1 revoked, 2 dissolved, 1 defaulted).

I was an unfortunate bagholder in that one at it's still littering one of my trading accounts - brokerage says they can't remove it until ordered to do so by the SEC.

Don't believe they can. MNZO was always a Pinky. The SEC ran Kenny Manzio out of the market, leaving behind a shell taken over by the Peachtree gang. Then they gave way to that clown Ritch. Who was going to rescue MNZO, and infuse hundreds of $Ms from his make believe hedge fund. The SEC then nailed Ritch, while suspending MNZO. Surprising they didn't suspend when they ran Manzio out of the market. Afterwards some real estate agent in Florida was going to make it a vitamin company, selling crap online. Anything since?

The stock was never registered with the SEC, so not much more the SEC can do with this Gray Zombie stock. If MNZO had been a registered stock, then by now the SEC could have delisted it for delinquency of filing form 10s.

So here MNZO sits a Grey sheet stock. If absolutely no trades occurs for a couple of years, then FINRA will delete the ticker.
