Bob was his usual self, slick, tight, and lots of smoky answers.

Selling will continue, he has no passion, emotion or life in him and his answer on why they cannot make any assumptions whether or not they can see cancer in the patients they have already reported on is rubbish. The technology can tell..IF IT WORKS and IMHO it does work.

Perhaps, but it sure has been easy for those who believed the manny, marv, proulx promotional machine to lose a ton of money. 20 cents down to 3 cents, 17 cents down to a penny, while insiders continue to ride the gravy train. I suspect the mhtx ride will end soon as the last payment from the metals deal comes and goes.

Of course, just as bad as manny and marv are those who spew bullish crap as they sell to anyone who believes them.

I wonder which will go below a penny first, mhtx or ibx? Odds would favor mhtx since it has been hovering slightly above a penny for quite a while and since its metals deal seems to be going nowhere (again). But a bet on ibx, particularly if proulx continues to fail to deliver on the phase I trial, would be a good bet as well.

For those who like the ultra-longshots, bet on ibx at 40 cents or mhtx at 11 cents as was predicted some time ago. lol

-IBX ended Q12022 with $10.6M in the bank. Operating cash outflow of $2.3M in quarter, so not sure where "cash remaining of one or two quarters" came from.
-R&D Tax incentive expected in Q3 2022 which will help offset some expenses.
-Yes, there will be more money raised in PPM's of 10%, not sure when.

On the trials, I agree with another poster on another board when they state.

However regarding giving some efficacy detail - what they've repeatedly said is that at this stage of the trial they are unable to draw conclusions and providing information to this effect could actually turn out to be misleading given the number is so small. All they can say is that the nanoparticle is reaching the lymph node.

For example let's say they have 5 patients. Of those 5 only a portion (who knows how many) are going to have disease in their lymph nodes - say it's 2. Now if the technology is working and its lighting up 2/2 times on MRI/MRX that's great but it would be dangerous to release that to the public, as the sample size is so tiny that it may have been luck. Imagine they did release that information and then they've got their 15 patients it only worked in 2 out of 6 lymph node positive patients, how angry would everyone be? I'd say people would consider legal action for providing misleading information. It's too early to release the info. If it get's to full enrolment of 15 or whatever and 6 out of 6 or 9 out of 9 lymph node positive patients light up on MRI/MRX then that's certainly more convincing than 2 out of 2 (it may even be that none of the patients thus far have had lymph node disease!). All they have said is that the nanoparticles have reached the lymph nodes are thus have enough confidence to proceed with enrolment. As frustrating as that is for us, at least they haven't stopped the trial early because the results have been duds."

People need to listen to proulx when he speaks because mixed in with all his hubris and self-promoting crap are bits and pieces of the real story. In one of his recent interviews he said he was confident there was enough cash to last another quarter or two. Based on how the trial enrollment is progressing (or not progressing), it seems doubtful it will be concluded before more cash is needed.

Everyone can believe what they want, but when it comes to sure things, I tend to feel a need to confront them when they are anything but sure. Good luck and hope ibx can elude the sub-penny world. Price action over the last couple of months indicates (at least to me) that more big time dilution is on the way.

Many are getting out, for many reasons. I won't delve into them at nauseum.

One thing is sure and it seems that IBX does have enough funds to finish the Phase 1 trial and IMHO the trial will be successful. I believe that the technology works and eventually the price of the IBX will follow the success of the trial. Its only a matter of time.

I and many other real shareholders are not happy, but, I will not get down on the work that is progressing on the phase 1 trial. No more whining from me.. Results will come and they will be positive.

Now comes the difficult part, raising funds for the Phase 2 trial and unless the success of the phase 1 trial creates an increase in the share price things will get bad and much dilution will follow.

Cancer trials and anything in this field needs Big Money honey, there is no question in my mind that Proulx will need more money and thus more dilution.

There is some money coming in from the the R&D tax rebate which was ~2 Mil last year. Add that to what seems to be growing sales in nanoparticles and the pain of the next dilution may be less, nevertheless it will be painful.

Don't want to be part of this, then don't invest. It's hard to completely cry foul on anything the company does when you have no real money at stake. I can honestly say I have some of my hard earned cash in this one.

Is it a risky bet? you bet it is but the multiple gain if successful is high.

My gut tells me research there has ended and they moved that first prototype to San Diego.

I'll take a shot at answering. After all those years and 10's of millions of dollars, still waiting for proof any of it is commercially viable. Latest joke is the first Phase I trial which began 1 1/2 years ago and ceo Proulx still hasn't been able to enroll 15 people in it.

Manny and marv were sly enough to spin off the technology to Imagion (ibx) which ipo'ed at 20 cents but now trades under 4 cents after massive dilution and still no proof it works.

mhtx .008, ibx .037, the manny-marv gravy train coming to an end. Proulx probably has enough bs in the tank to keep diluting and riding ibx for a couple more years, although at the rate his trial is going there might just be a cure for cancer before this imaging technology is ever commercialized.

Well folks, when you have Proulx recently saying that " that patient recruitment still remains challenging" and no recent updates, coupled that with a very poorly designed, cumbersome trial and no real data shared on the trials, you see the results.

You can't expect a rising stock value when you tell your shareholders that basically, the trial so far has not given them any real conclusions.

Proulx needs to update shareholders on the patient study, the MRI study, Siemens collaboration, anything positive that shareholders can hang their hats on.

Why might the number one leader of producing cancer images be helping IBX out? I think I know why IBX just expanded their research facility 10 times in volume. Take a look at this video of Bob Proulx, lead IBX scientist, and a top Bruker scientist collaborating on ways to perfect them. It was made about 3 months ago.

ibx burns cash every day and the burn rate is increasing. The cash will not last indefinitely, so no one can say they have enough to complete the trial because no one knows when the trial will end. In fact, no one knows if proulx will ever enroll enough people to complete it in a meaningful way.

I don't see why some want to cut this guy so much slack. He's been running the show for years, even going back to before the spinoff. In spite of all the hype, all the interviews, all the articles, still waiting with a finger in the wind to find out of the technology is commercially viable (proulx's own words, not mine).

IMO there is (more) big dilution on the way and that is why stock is heading toward a penny again.

Yes the testing has been slow and dripping out here and there but the testing in both human and animal has been as expected and positive.

While positive in form, the new production facility and recruiting of new personnel will be a money drain and new funding will need to be raised. However, Seems that IBX does have enough funds to finish the Phase 1 trial and IMHO the trial will be successful. The technology works and eventually the price of the IBX will follow the success of the trial. Its only a matter of time.

How much time is the question and how many are willing to stick it out and not be spooked and sell.

The sale of nanoparticles will be surprising, so let it all play out before we jump on Proulx further.
