Picked up some PGRD as a bottom fishing shell play
.055 x .075
Someone has been dumping and the MM's seem to have more shares than they want, got some fills on bid (.06).
Seems like what remains of PGRD is a shell that recently had a reverse merge cancelled. What remains looks like a nice pickup on a possible future shell play. Longterm only.
3M OS
180K Market Cap at .06
Looks like it has about a .07 book value.
No Preferred.
AGCI - In OTCBB filing compliance again
This is the other one I hold. Just a shell, nothing too exciting except the market cap on the common stock is around $144,000.
Just waiting for a reverse merger which may be a long wait
Current Snapshot
- OS 9.6 Million
- Float 9.5 Million
- bid .01
- ask .015
- Market cap $144,000
- little debt
- positive shareholder equity.
- Just completed 10K's and 10Q's
The big caveat here is the principals hold their stock in preferreds. Thus a reverse merge is less likely to be good for the common holders. Still a good lottery ticket.
SSHZ - The other Sino
This is the old AMDI which went through a nasty reverse split. A few month ago it performed a reverse split into "Sino Shipping Holdings".
The reverse split was guided by Fountainhead Capital Partners Limited who was the majority holding in the original AMDI at the time of the reverse split. Fountainhead cut itself a sweet deal in the reverse merge, ending up with around 4% of the company. They did not leave many scraps for us minority holders.
SSHZ itself is now interesting and worth looking at. NITE let me pick some up over the last week at $2.25 and under and seems to be the only market maker genuinely active.
Current Snapshot
- bid $2.25
- ask $3
- OS 24.63 Million shares
- Top 8 shareholders hold at least 24.35 Million Shares
- 7 of those top 8 shareholders hold less than 5% of the company
- Shareholders Equity (March 31, 2008) $20,823,362
- 1st quarter revenue - $5,303,837
- 1st quarter profit - $1,569,226
- 1st quarter profit/share - 6.4 cents per share
Hard to tell where this one is going, they seem to have a nice cash flow stream but little history. They have not bothered to publish even 1 PR with the reverse merger.
My hope is they are aiming for the Nasdaq Global Market. They clearly have the equity/revenue/profit to qualify. It may be they currently don't have enough freely tradable shares as yet as the reverse merge was so recent.
This is one to study, if they continue to show current profit streams it gives them a PE of around 12 at $3.00 per share.
well noticed a near 100% jump the other day.
Not a great buy as yet, but I'm slightly green at the moment.
Interesting bankrupcy plan, seems well planned out. Hopefully by the end of November we'll know if there is anything left and if this is a good play or not.
Looking forward to see if it was Insiders or Institutions that dumped last week.
Mack
another great call Mack. your to good
DLWI - Interesting Shareholder information:
This information is 1 year old, but it shows that institutions and insiders held nearly the entire amount of the OS of the company. So it appears yesterdays dump was likely a combination of some institutions getting a Chapter 11 company off their books and some insiders locking in some capital losses for 2006. Before yesterday, there looks like there was only 1 day over the past year with volume greater than 100K , so most of these shareholders were still in before yesterday. Look for a rash of Form 4's over the next month.
At some point the dump will stop as already it seems 1/2 the below have sold and some will just hold from this point.

DLWI - Picked up a Mack sized portion on the cheap.
First real purchase I have made in near 1/2 year. Looking for a longer term hold with a hopeful dead cat opportunity to get to free shares.
Company went Chapter 11 yesterday with plan to liquidate operations and pay off creditors. Thus it looks like no replacement issue of common stock is likely, nor does it look like they will be issuing stock. The hope is that remaining assets will pay off creditors and they will see the current common stock as an asset to spin off to someone as a shell.
As of last 10Q, company had decent positive shareholder equity but this was concentrated in its property value and cash flows were very negative forcing them to default on their debt covenants. It is not unreasonable that the bankrupcy and liquidation process will allow creditors to be made whole and the common stock will survive for some brand new purpose.
The good news, 6M OS at current price of .014 gives the whopping market cap of $84,000.
Hard to imagine there is much stock left to dump as probably 2.5M shares were sold yesterday out of 6M. Possible this also may have a nice short position as company financial troubles were well documented over the last few years.
Will take a while to play out, but short-term bounce is quite possible.
Mack
yep sold mine as well. Darn the first and second players on these cheap one didnt hold long enough :(
Wow, caught my eye today too.
I sold my stash at .25 before the summer so I left quite a bit on the table, but still was a very good one.
Hope all is going well, planning on taking a few more months off.

they have an s-8 out but even if those shares were fully diluted it have an o/s of 20,782,719 with a market cap of 207k. Seems like a nobrainer here IMO
TCLT interesting.

KTWO
ITEM 1.01 ENTRY INTO MATERIAL DEFINITIVE AGREEMENT
On July 27, 2006, the Registrant and NPOWR Digital Media, Inc. ("NPOWR") a California corporation determined to abandon the contemplated merger between the parties. Pursuant to the Letter of Intent dated December 22, 2005 between the parties ("LOI"), NPOWR is obligated to pay all expenses of K2 as specified in the LOI to the date of termination. K2 will continue to actively seek other business alternatives, through acquisition merger or otherwise.
in case anyone's holding...
I think at this point its a combination that its now June and the outstanding legal issues. Not much incentive to pay .20 to buy in any significant quantities right now.
Nasty out there right now........
Mack
onsp .. why the heck is it still trding here
The number of shares outstanding of registrant's common stock, par value $.012 per share, as of March 31, 2006 was 1,089,219
Its been good to you thus far :)
NPOWR-KTWO
This kind of stuff is why I am holding onto this one. Probably won't pan out, but if it does it will be a good one!
http://blog.itvt.com/my_weblog/2006/05/npowr_named_com.html
cool. glad to see you mostly liquid. Im more liquid then usual but still now as much as I would like.
Hope all is well.
Hey Pat, have been about 95% sells over the last few months and am very liquid. Been paying attention and see you're doing pretty well!
Still holding all my KTWO, but have holding only fractions of my other holdings as I have been able to shed them at very agreeable prices. Overall, quite a good year.
May tinker a bit through the summer when I'm bored but doubt I'll get in too deep before the fall. Markets seem especially turbulent right now anyway.
Thanks for asking! Stay well!
Mack
been up to any good? liquidated for summer?
Thanks.
LOL. "Running out of stocks to hold, right on schedule." your the man mack.
Yes Mainlander so it makes for nice lotto ticket.
Hopefully has some plans for the shell in lieu of the dilutathon the other owners were running.
Mack
Out AKJM
Likely has more run, but got more than I planned for so I'm happy. You got me started on this one so I have to thank you.
Running out of stocks to hold, right on schedule.
Mack
Mainlander Chinese?
Could be interesting. BTW, ARCA is selling into NNSR methinks. They have the MM's in a vice grip.
fringe
ahhh. cool. danka
New SRLT Owner - Zujun Xu - owns 8.8M out of 12.5M
hmmm. totally missed that increase but knew it was coming. sooo still no mention of Halter in the new filing?
Pat you been following SRLT events
As we suspected, diluted to OS of 12.5 million, although insider holdings remained at 70% so float only grew about 2.5 million in total.
Whole new ballgame....
I Might Back up the Lorry For That -e-
Love your truck collection!
Good time to be picky about the prices you buy at, this is the time of year I usually unload my trucks.
The best one I have still loaded up that hasn't moved up much is KTWO. Hopefully they will finalize the RM in the next few weeks. There will be 1:3 RS, but the candidate has an interesting business model. Not a bad buy around .07-.08 when they put it on sale.
Mack
Hey, I'm buyin'!
Been awhile. Should be here more. I'll bring my truck collection to play with.
fringe
rotf. no crap. I have been on bid the last weeks. A few weeks ago I realized that I didnt have enough.
Now want alot more. Gonna be a nice one and one to hold comfortably IMO
ONSP, another one we were too early on....
.... we are soooooooooooooo stupid......
I see at .35 the market cap has reached the astronomical amount of $381,000, lol!
Mack
You picked a good day to start buying...
or was it a good day cause of your buying????
Being early is good, I'm almost always early and its usually a very good thing!
Finally making money on MOAT!
Mack
alright well bought some today. Hopefully not to early
:) Still gonna watch myself. Like to see how the next week or so pans out
Oh i get it now, ha!
So its got a market cap of around 200K, but its a Nevada company. I think I'll go for a small amount but won't get too crazy as it could turn into a dilutathon.
har sorry. Just was replying to this part "Trying to figure CBCL out, not sure if the change in fearless leader means they will dilute even more or not." .. That fiquire was todays OS> SOMEDAY it should bounce hard. Just not sure when.
Pat,
I forgot to wear my secret decoder ring today, she must be pretty sexxy.
Almost KTWO time....
Mack
watching. 10726140 as of today.
Seems to be the new trend. And funny thing is I find many of my otcbb's to pinkies finding nice post pinkie runs. MPMA might just do that.
I think you may be right!
If you are reading this, you truly have stumbled off the beaten path, welcome!! I doubt this board will interest many, but feel free to ask any questions.
I am interested in out of favor stocks, most get very little attention. They tend to have the following characteristics with exceptions:
- Very low market cap
- Poor Liquidity
- Up to date filings
- Near lows
These issues are not for the daytrader, they will bore you to tears. Typically, I try to acquire them on the cheap and pick up large portions (4.99% if possible). I just put them away and wait for some future event to wake them up. Sometimes it never comes but other times they will move up many many multiples from the buying area.
Recently, I have not done much trading, thinking about getting more active. For a while, it has been difficult to find inexpensive stocks that I am be comfortable holding. Lately I am seeing Market Caps in some cases move lower to areas that get me interested. With the slower summer/fall months approaching, my plan is to dedicate a bit more time to research now and get more active near year end.
