GOMUCP---
The lack of volume concerns me also - As I understand it, there are buyers and sellers - it would seem to me that no one is buying - as there is stock offered for sale....
But what do I know - I own this stock - lol

Happy New Year!!
Hi all, Glad to see everyone here and hope everyone had a wonderful holiday.
Lets hope the cash raised at the end of the year is just the tiny bit of fuel that was needed to finally get us headed in the right direction . As far as the Vegas show is concerned, Most say that Comdex was not as crowded as past shows more than likely due to 911 and the economy so I guess we will leave that up to managements best judgement. Lets hope they finally get it done here in 2002. I would think we have to see some orders getting filled here pretty soon, anyone agree??

Boy, Oh Boy !!!
I just tried to post a message on Lycos-Roging Bull, and the sleezeballs denied my try, send me to a "Join the forum page" and then requested that I verify my email address......
What a cheap ass way to get another email address for their spamming partners..... I guess my last post was on 12/29/01!

Very Well Put !!
The Certificates should put the naysayers to rest..... now if we could just get someone to loosen the purse strings a bit... maybe we could get this ball a rolling!
I guess with no volume at all today, hopefully all those that needed to sell for a loss, have done so by now. Now all there is to do is wait.....
We're getting pretty good at it.....
GOMUCP !!!

I'm back! And wishing all the MUCP longs a prosperous and Happy New Year.
The recent funding will allow the company to procure UL and CSA recognitized production units and submit actual real McCoy units for evaluation to ISPs, educational organizations, the military and corporate clients with all replaceing dumb pc work stations with the V5 thin client. A hugh monetary savings for them and a bonanza of business for MUCP or should I say MSU Devices. 2002 will be the year of the V5.
The "Most Important" line.......
"We will utilize this forthcoming inventory to satisfy initial orders and to begin seeding larger opportunities.'"

What is your take on the big block trade? My thought is that someone is taking an end of the year loss for tas reasons.
Well, unless it was an institution (mmkr) doing so, I would doubt it. That block showed up as an uptick, or purchase, of the stock.
Today's trading action shows the bid/ask has widened again, with the ask up to .25/share and their dropping the bid down to .17/share. That's usually indicative of trying to discourage buying of the stock while they try and shake out some more loose shares.
Bottom line, mmkrs exist to make markets for the various brokers and institutions. The discount brokers broadcast their customer's stock orders and the various mmkrs jockey for position in filling those orders in order to maintain good relations with the client firm. If they want to enjoy "preference", they must fill the order or the client brokerage will go elsewhere with their business.
So the way for mmkrs to decrease interest in the stock by the public is to widen the spread to the point where anyone purchasing the stock IMMEDIATELY is facing a potential loss, were they willing to sell that same day (daytraders).
So yesterday, we saw the spread was narrow and that 290,000 share block order came in between the bid/ask (gotta make the client broker happy, right?). But now that inventory has been absorbed and the mmkrs probably don't have much stock left to sell to the public. Thus, they have to discourage buyers, and ENCOURAGE sellers, in order to rebuild their inventory so they can fill their client brokers orders.
The more demand we see, the more they will crank up the bid/ask, maintain the spread since the mmkrs are effectively going "short" (selling shares they don't own) so they can continue to maintain that mmkr relationship with their client brokerages (the etrades and ameritrades out there). So in an environment of little supply, and increasing demand, they price must rise until an equilibrium is again achieved on the supply/demand curve.
At least that's my analysis.

Nope.. You read it right.

Or did I read it wrong ????

Let's get it done in 2002 MSU Devices.

Well, Santa will eventually visit MUCP, but it looks like he might be a little late this year, or might not even make until next quarter.
We'll see if he gets his bearings and delivers his packages in time.
Btw, Comcast just obtained the rest of AT&T's broadband assets. That should reinvigorate the broadband/set-top box market.
Additionally, due to the continuing resolutions the government is currently operating on, any governmental buying (such as for school districts) might be delayed until funding becomes available. The lack of a government budget has REALLY impacted IT spending by governmental agencies.
TheCentralScrutinizer
Howdy gang, Glad to see everyone is just about here..
I only asked Santa for one gift this year, One big contract for MSU devices
to get the ball rolling.
Thanks
Jx
Like most of the longs I continue to have faith that the management team can pull off a profitable year in 2002. With all of the prospects they have lined up seems to me that all they need is a start to buying of internet appliances. The V5 is the best of all on the market and is priced hundreds of dollars below the nearest competition and eliminates the need for the computer challenged to get on line. Education, Government and ISP customers are prospects and in 6 months to a year I believe everyone will be looking back wishing they had bought back when.
Good to see you guys!
Sorry I'm late.... darn christmas shopping in the way of my surfing ;^)
I doubt we can count on any "quality financing" as long as we are below a dollar, but all it will take is one good sale to drive it up if we don't have 100 million shares outstanding that is.
Thanks for starting this board... Lycos has ruined Qcharts and now they are ruining RB.

Looks like........ we may be talking to ourselves for awhile!!!
I liked today's action, but at this point I could stand to weather another dip....as I have yet to hit my "buy" target.
If we don't get any news by the end of the year, I may just get my wish.....
Did you post on SI yet??? Maybe some of those folks would join us..... but maybe not, I don't think anybody is real excited about talking about this stock right now.
Here's hoping that 2002 is the year that it happens.... I know I'm ready !!!
Have a good Holiday !!
GOMUCP !!!
Hey GoMUCP... Thanks for joining me over here.
The Raging Bull reformat was just disgusting and I lost all of my boardmarks to boot. The new format is unattractive and non-user intuitive.
SI is having some problems as well and there is a rumour that it may be shut down. So IH appears to be the board of choice and could see an influx of folks coming from both venues.
I see MUCP is attempting a bit of a rally today.
About friggin' time... :0)
TheCentralScrutinizer
TCS...
I'll join you..... Kind of hard to believe that anyone has to sell this year for tax reasons, given the past 20 months of market declines..... but like you said, blood in the streets time, and if the folks out there want to get rid of this, and the MMK's take it down more, I might just have to add some to my stash, what the heck, it's only money.......
Then again, could it be that maybe this is the "Grand Plan" ??
Who knows, but I'll be watching closely....
Hope this board takes off, thanks for getting it started!
GOMUCP !!!
I'm going to kick off this discussion board and make a few comments.
I'm frankly pretty frustrated, and almost to the point of saying disgusted.
I would also caution readers of this board that this stock is highly speculative until such a time as we have some clear visibility about contracts and revenue streams.
We're currently in the middle of tax-loss selling (which I would be doing as well, if last year had left with many gains to offset.. <sigh>). That means that until that last couple of days of this month, this stock may be essentially "dead money" and could go lower until after the first of the year.
I'm not currently sure if I want to add more to my position here. The rumours suggest that they have some lucrative contracts they are negotiating, but in this economy, it may prove difficult to convince customers to open up their wallets and spend.
Of course, some could argue that this is the "blood in the streets" effect. Buy when there is blood in the streets.
But MUCP is threatening to break through previous lows and that will make it difficult to obtain quality financing.
I want to see even a small contract announced so that I feel some confidence that these folks can fulfill the expectations that have been created.
