READ! "They prompted by the tankers, the investments already surpassed the u$s17.2 billions. The disbursements showed an increment of almost the 49% regarding the same period but of 2007. YPF, Petrobras and Franklin Oil & Gas they head the tendency"
http://rrii.infobaeprofesional.com/notas/72549-Impulsadas-por-las-petroleras-las-inversiones-ya-superaron-los-us17233-millones.html?cookie
http://ar.news.yahoo.com/s/30092008/44/n-business-impulsadas-petroleras-inversiones-superaron-u-s17-233-millones.html
The investments during the first eight months of the 2008 reached a total of 17,233 million dollars, and they showed an increment of almost the 49% regarding the same period but of last year.
The disbursements were headed by the petroleum segment that, because of the projects prompted by the firms YPF, Petrobras and Franklin Oil & Gas, they accumulated the 40% (u$s6.893 millions) of the injections of capital.
According to a report divulged by the consulting one Abeceb.com, the sector of the services continues being the main recipient of the investments. The segment hoarded the 35% of the announcements during 2007, and already concentrates the 46% of the disbursements in which goes of the 2008.
Apparently, most of the announcements of investment they continue being the ones that correspond to new projects (Greenfield). During the first eight months of the year their participation in the total reached the 67,8% set against the 65,7% of the 2007.
The total announced of new projects during the period between January and August of 2007, was located in u$s7.605 millions, while during the first eight months of 2008 they added u$s11.679 millions. It represents this an increase of the 53,6 percent order.
In turn, the fusions and acquisitions represented alone the 4,1% of the total. Abeceb.com assures that this realizes an important fall since in 2007 its participation arrived at the 11,4 percent.
In the meantime, the enlargements of plants and of capacity they were increased 83,1% during the first eight months of 2008 and they elevated to u$s4.842 millions which represents the 28,1% of the total.
This modality of investments was the one that more gained ground, since only represented the 22,9% of the total during the first eight months of 2007.
Services Abeceb.com indicates that the sector of the services is maintained like the main recipient of the investments. The segment hoarded the 35% of the announcements in 2007, and already concentrates the 46% of the disbursements in which goes of the year.
The industrial sector maintained its participation in levels of the 2007 and the primary sector enlarged it in four percentage points.
The report emphasizes that the 5% that occupies the sector construction inside the relevamiento is owed in great measure to that the investments announced for the development of hotels form part of services therefore themselves they are not reflected, exactly, in the sector construction.
"The increase of the total projected is considerable in all the sectors except by that of construction, that a contraction of their total realizes, passing from u$s2.449 millions for the first eight months from 2007 to u$s871 millions in it elapsed of the 2008", explains the study.
Origin according to Abeceb.com, of the projected investment announcements total for the first eight months from 2008 the majority corresponds to businesses of national capital, with a participation of the 31,2 percent order.
The consultant argues that behind the local disbursements investments of countries appear like Spain with the 10.6%, United States, Brazil and France with the 10%, 5,2% and 4,8% respectively.
