(MDM)MDM Group, Inc. is based in Santa Clara, California and is publicly traded on the OTC PinkSheets in the US under the symbol "MDDM". MDM Group is focused on investing in and commercializing technologies that address needs within the Homeland Defense and security industries. MDM Group has a controlling interest in Australian listed Harrington Group Limited (Australian symbol "HGR" and US symbol "HGRLF") and plans to independently list further interests. MDM Group operates three primary subsidiary business divisions. Harrington Group Ltd. BioDefense Inc. IT and Data Division Harrington Group Ltd. (HGR) is a less-lethal weapons development and commercialization company publicly listed on the Australian stock exchange under the symbol "HGR" (US "HGRLF"). HGR is developing ShockRounds™, a revolutionary concept in electrified projectiles that are intended to encourage the use of less force and potentially minimize casualties. See www.hgrltd.com BioDefense Inc. is a development stage biotechnology company addressing biochemical and bio-terrorism threats and solutions. IT and Data Division MDM Group owns or controls patents that have solid commercialization prospects and is the in process of establishing businesses around these patent interests. http://www.hgrltd.com/ ShockRounds™ Overview Given the global emphasis on security and terrorism prevention today, the need for new and more effective lethal and less-lethal ammunition could not be more acute. The ShockRounds™ technology is being developed to meet the changing demands of a wide range of markets and security needs from law enforcement, corrections, border control, and anti-terrorism initiatives, to special military operations. The ShockRounds™ technology introduces an electric charge to traditional ammunition and other projectiles such as rubber bullets. ShockRounds™ bullets use a combination of existing ballistic and piezoelectric technologies to generate the high voltage charge. The ShockRounds™ bullets operate on the principle that when a piezoelectric crystal is mechanically stressed, it will produce sufficient voltage to incapacitate the threat. ShockRounds™ specialised ammunition is designed to generate varying degrees of shock upon impact. It is intended these shocks will range from a lower level jolt for riot deterrence, to a discharge designed to cause immediate and temporary incapacitation by disrupting the offender’s nervous system. There is a considerable body of evidence in stun gun research that shows that voltages at this level can incapacitate with minimal or no long-term side effects. ShockRounds’™ electrically-charged ammunition is forecast to be more effective with more diverse applications than the standard metal and less-lethal rounds currently on the market. ShockRounds™ anticipated advantages include: Reducing injuries and fatalities for law enforcement and security personnel. Decreasing collateral damage and civilian casualties, especially in domestic crowd control, counter-terrorism and certain military operations. Increasing the range of situations and locations in which a tactical less-lethal force (ShockRounds™) can be used by security personnel, including on aircraft, at large public events, etc. Increasing target survivability and the opportunity to collect vital intelligence; particularly useful in counter-terrorism, narcotics or similar operations.
