It's big risk for potential big reward. Not sure what will happen.
Hello Audacious:
Never bought them. Only have LNCOQ. My Q concerns the long-term prospects of these shares. Can shares in this state recover? Or are they doomed to write-off on completion of reorg?
Happy to say I've not been in this circumstance often enough to know or felt the need to research such prospects.
But if these shares are going to remain viable going forward, even a modest toss of cash in now, or even not, would seem to have impressive upside potential.
pappi
You really should exchange shares to LNCO. Not worth the risk of CODI IMO. I am holding here.
So, the conversion has been extended. Whatever Q shares I have still sit there. Anyone got views on whether or not this might rise from the dead? If it did, the upside would be on a story scale of Lazarus himself.

Nice little bounce there. Hopefully we will see the same here.
Is this thing even alive?
did you see what's happening ( and charting ) to $pvahq
Any thoughts on this? Not your typical BK play. Assets should be much higher than last reported due to oil spike.
Will CODI on LINE help the bottom line? What are the chances shareholders get a piece of the new company?
Interesting that analysts recently upgraded to hold.
Going to be a buyer again if this retraces to .065/.07 next week
I'm trying to get 9's to fill going for the 20 day for risk over under. If it breaks .13 it's go to likely run.
likely bounc'in off the twenty day..
from the morning little pullback
down ta' 9s then up to the Top Band at 13s
and taking it up again from there
at least thats what I'm shoot'in for
uptrending picking up momentum..
over the 20day now .. setting up
for doubling again from here
So many articles incl. N/A's incl. :
http://www.greenvilletribune.com/linn-co-llc-nasdaqlnco-earnings-estimates-in-view/
The professionals who analyze Linn Co, LLC (NASDAQ:LNCO) shares have created price target projections on the firm. They anticipate that the shares will rise to $131.074 within the year. This number is calculated by Zacks.com, a provider of quality investment research. Zack’s anticipate a high between $N/A and $N/A for the stock. This is based on the N/A analysts polled by Zacks.
Seeing some big buys today!
I can't find any forum where this is being pumped - This was left for dead. I'm stuck at .27 average and just letting this go to see what happens at this point. I hope something is up though, trading higher on volume the past 2 days.
Is this thing being pumped? Or something actually happening in management.
( Was ) Thinking the same thing...
Oil probably needs to be above $65 for LNCO to survive with the shareholders intact.....anything much less will probably relegate us to the 4% scrap heap......
This is weird, why they will extinguish all existing equity interest and then they continue exchange offering periods?
INTERESTING BK! They filed BK when oil hover at $20's and now hovering $50's.
Anybody know court/significant dates up and coming for LNCOQ?
Trying to keep this on my watchlist but no point if there is no volume in the near term.
Common stock is still last in line, Chapter 11 or Chapter 13.
If you think there will be money left over, after paying all creditors, secured parties, and bondholders, by all means, buy LNCO.
I think the market is suggesting their is not likely to be anything left for the common stock.
This is not a chapter 13 it is a chapter 11 reorganization.
Exactly. I bailed on most quite a while ago. So I am puzzling over the reports of potential upside.

Remember this: when a company goes through a bankruptcy, claims of creditors, employees, bondholders, vendors of goods and services to the company, as well as holders of any preferred shares ALL have priority over common stock owners.
One never knows, but most analysts who have looked at this situation have concluded that once the BK is completed, there will be nothing left for common stock.
That's why I sold out of LNCO at .50
Still glad I did.
But what will happen to the LNCO shares themselves as this emerges? Haven't they been rendered null and void due to proceedings? I kept what little I have just to watch and learn.

We could see this thing go the same route as Uplmq It just hit dollar land today
Look at those big tall volume not sure where that came from??
Yes and if Oil keeps on rising which it probably will over the summer, is a major plus. This honestly could be a huge money maker. Yes there is risk, but every stock is a risk. Especially in Bankruptcy.
Yes, and they were considered dead and in the coffin just didn't fill in the dirt yet. Oil is above 50 today!
no average down for me. got 50-60k partials each on LINEQ and LNCOQ at open sold into bounce. bought back some early and out for gains again. good luck with the average downs, not my style.
33-50%+ down open is a blood bath in my book although for some losing half the money overnight is no biggie.
Well aware how some bk stocks trade in pinkie land, after all that 5th letter Q stands for Quality right? lol
Correct, look at Fannie and Freddie. They went from the 25 cents range up to 5 bucks and bounce all around in between.
Some on pink make a nice move, no blood bath!! Will move right back up after .08/.09 is tested!
anyone have a good understanding about the whole lnco/line share exchange and reasons behind it?
reason why I am here, looking for the dead cat
Jep, bloodbath coming. Maybe gonna see a nice dead cat bounce afterwards...
some brokerages don't allow pinks/otcs positions and force sell them upon delist. shares here will be worthless with time but maybe a short covering rally after another bloodbath.
It won't get crushed too hard as its already kind of crushed
looks like this going pink tomorrow? They usually crush it at the open upon delist. .06-.08 open?
Wonder how this will go uplmq was not a usually case but let's hope we can follow their same path
I believe u are right but a little low. I think the first jump will hit .6 to .75 JMHO
What does everyone think the outlook is a few weeks out and a few months out?
Hold you shares its the damn shorts bringing it down
Yep. Big move coming
