Huckabee is your man, hands down.
THIS IS A NONPARTISAN JOKE THAT CAN BE ENJOYED BY BOTH PARTIES! NOT ONLY THAT ... IT IS POLITICALLY CORRECT!!
While walking down the street one day a US senator is tragically hit by a truck and dies. His soul arrives in heaven and is met by St. Peter at the entrance.
"Welcome to heaven," says St. Peter. "Before you settle in, it seems there is a problem. We seldom see a high official around these parts, you see, so we're not sure what to do with you."
"No problem, just let me in," says the man.
"Well, I'd like to, but I have orders from higher up. What we'll do is have you spend one day in hell and one in heaven. Then you can choose where to spend eternity."
"Really, I've made up my mind. I want to be in heaven, "says the senator.
"I'm sorry, but we have our rules." And with that, St. Peter escorts him to the elevator and he goes down, down, down to hell. The doors open and he finds himself in the Middle of a green golf course. In the distance is a clubhouse and standing in front of it are all his friends and other politicians who had worked with him.
Everyone is very happy and in evening dress. They run to greet him, shake his hand, and reminisce about the good times they had while getting rich at the expense of the people. They play a friendly game of golf and then dine on lobster, caviar and champagne.
Also present is the devil who really is a very friendly guy who has a good time dancing and telling jokes. They are having such a good time that before he realizes it, it is time to go.
Everyone gives him a hearty farewell and waves while the elevator rises... The elevator goes up, up, up and the door reopens on heaven where St. Peter is waiting for him. "Now it's time to visit heaven."
So, 24 hours pass with the senator joining a group of contented souls moving from cloud to cloud, playing the harp and singing. They have a good time and, before he realizes it, the 24 hours have gone by and St. Peter returns.
"Well, then, you've spent a day in hell and another in heaven. Now choose your eternity."
The senator reflects for a minute, then he answers: "Well, I would never have said it before, I mean heaven has been delightful, but I think I would be better off in hell."
So St. Peter escorts him to the elevator and he goes down, down, down to hell. Now the doors of the elevator open and he's in the middle of a barren land covered with waste and garbage.
He sees all his friends, dressed in rags, picking up the trash and putting it in black bags as more trash falls from above.
The devil comes over to him and puts his arm around his shoulder. "I don't understand," stammers the senator! "Yesterday I was here and there was a golf course and clubhouse, and we ate lobster and caviar, drank champagne, and danced and had a great time. Now there's just a wasteland full of garbage and my friends look miserable. What happened?"
The devil looks at him, smiles and says, "Yesterday we were campaigning ...
...
Today you voted."
Liberalism is dead
and is repsonsbiel with many of the problems of this country.

look what they did to corn in brazil......
corn is in such high demand for ethanol that the poverty stricken family in south america can no long afford to buy tortilla,s to eat.......
Although I don't vote, I still feel responsible for our governments blunders. I don't vote so that I am free to say what I want against any politician and noone can say " well you voted for it". Like the Republicans are saying to the Democrats about the war they voted for!
Since the war oil and gas prices have been out of this world( I really feel it with a V8) and big oils profits are the highest in world history.
Heating oil prices for homes are rediculous. People making minimum wage can't afford to heat their homes or buy food.
The price for freedom is immense: how many major
terrorist attacks have happened in this country since 9/11/01.........ZERO, -0- Nada
There is a reason for that, but we Americans soon forget the price that we pay for the Freedom we enjoy.
What sickens me now are the sheepal in this country that enjoy these freedoms, with no clue as to what is going on. Many don't even know who our president and VP are, or don't even know what Capitalism is.
We have turned into a Nation of Victims. IMO there is no turning back. All we can do is fight for what is right.
The exciting thing is Bible Prophecy.........all these things must pass, and they are all coming true. What a great opportunity to spread the word that Jesus Christ is the only way, truth and life,
Now, any Muslim, Buddist, Athiest, Witch, Satanist, or whoever, reading this, you have the right to your beliefs, I respect them...in fact, you may espouse them without fear of reprisal from me. That is what makes this country great. However, I am entitled to state mine as well.
Have a nice holiday

I believe American lifestyle has a lot do with it also. People dont have the time. People who are working(both husband and wife), rasing their children and paying a morgages feel like doing nothing and lets not forget TV. Obviously their are other factors, such as personal beliefs and others. Your thoughts?
not blindly following the government blindly following the dollar.....
you,ve heard "keep them occupied on the right and rob them on the left" havent you....?
thats what corp. america does to sell products .....
All of the MEN & WOMEN are on board this.......spending our money protecting this free country, cause thats what we voted for. Like it or not, I don't see this vessel for sale to get our money back and I do not turn my back on these MEN and WOMEN. So its a tough one. ...Sorry for your frustration's
I'm not red or blue, It's time for a dominate third party.
BTW.. look at VFIN and UFBV
Ponder on what's been said, until next...
Happy Hour!
I feel like America has become a nation of sheep...Men and women following blindly behind a government that has continually lied to the people.
We have billions for war, but none for health or education.
War vets are homeless. Can't get the medical care they need.
Tax breaks for the super rich; the poor starve.
These are acts of treason! Where are the MEN!
Stand up...stop being cowards.
lol its hard to say whats the proper course when you know they all lead to a pile of .... ;)
I asked the question about voting for Bush a third time because I got booted from Market Millionaires board for calling one of the mods an idiot because he said he'd vote for Bush a third time over Gore or Kerry.
Just wanted to know if he's really an idiot or if it was just me.
I am conservation, pro life, and a capitalist
Very conservative even though I am a totally disabled individual.
I fear for this country. Capitalism depends on the requisite of moral rectitude. We cannot support everybody that cannot produce. I fear socialism is coming around the corner, is already here in many cases.
We are also a Godless society.
Third world country around the corner brothers and sisters.
By the way, Jesus is the answer. I know, I respect others beliefs too, just letting you know who the way, truth and the life is.

i found this and thought it should be spread like the messenger requests....
This is slightly long but pretty moving:
---------- Forwarded Message ----------
. My question is: Would you have made the same choice?
At a fundraising dinner for a school that serves learning-disabled children, the father of one of the students delivered a speech that would never be forgotten by all who attended. After extolling the school and its dedicated staff, he offered a question: "When not interfered with by outside influences, everything nature does is done with perfection. Yet my son, Shay, cannot learn things as other children do. He cannot understand things as other children do. Where is the natural order of things in my son?"
The audience was stilled by the query.
The father continued. "I believe that when a child like Shay, physically and mentally handicapped comes into the world, an opportunity to realize true human nature presents itself, and it comes in the way other people treat that child."
Then he told the following story:
Shay and his father had walked past a park where some boys Shay knew were playing baseball. Shay asked, "Do you think they'll let me play?" Shay's father knew that most of the boys would not want someone like Shay on their team, but the father also understood that if his son were allowed to play, it would give him a much-needed sense of belonging and some confidence to be accepted by others in spite of his handicaps.
Shay's father approached one of the boys on the field and asked (not expecting much) if Shay could play. The boy looked around for guidance and said, "We're losing by six runs and the game is in the eighth inning. I guess he can be on our team and we'll try to put him in to bat in the ninth inning."
Shay struggled over to the team's bench and, with a broad smile, put on a team shirt. His Father watched with a small tear in his eye and warmth in his heart. The boys saw the father's joy at his son being accepted. In the bottom of the eighth inning, Shay's team scored a few runs but was still behind by three. In the top of the ninth inning, Shay put on a glove and played in the right field. Even though no hits came his way, he was obviously ecstatic just to be in the game and on the field, grinning from ear to ear as his father waved to him from the stands. In the bottom of the ninth inning, Shay's team scored again. Now, with two outs and the bases loaded, the potential winning run was on base and Shay was scheduled to be next at bat.
At this juncture, do they let Shay bat and give e away their chance to win the game? Surprisingly, Shay was given the bat Everyone knew that a hit was all but impossible because Shay didn't even know how to hold the bat properly, much less connect with the ball.
However, as Shay stepped up to the plate, the pitcher, recognizing that the other team was putting winning aside for this moment in Shay's life, moved in a few steps to lob the ball in softly so Shay could at least make contact. The first pitch came and Shay swung clumsily and missed. The pitcher again took a few steps forward to toss the ball softly towards Shay. As the pitch came in, Shay swung at the ball and hit a slow ground ball right back to the pitcher.
The game would now be over. The pitcher picked up the soft grounder and could have easily thrown the ball to the first baseman. Shay would have been out and that would have been the end of the game
Instead, the pitcher threw the ball right over the first baseman's head, out of reach of all team mates. Everyone from the stands and both teams started yelling, "Shay, run to first! Run to first!" Never in his life had Shay ever run that far, but he made it to first base. He scampered down the baseline, wide-eyed and startled.
Everyone yelled, "Run to second, run to second!" Catching his breath, Shay awkwardly ran towards second, gleaming and struggling to make it to the base. By the time Shay rounded towards second base, the right fielder had the ball ... the smallest guy on their team who now had his first chance to be the hero for his team. He could have thrown the ball to the second-baseman for the tag, but he understood the pitcher's intentions so he, too, intentionally threw the ball high and far over the third-baseman's head. Shay ran toward third base deliriously as the runners ahead of him circled the bases toward home.
All were screaming, "Shay , Shay, Shay, all the Way Shay"
Shay reached third base because the opposing shortstop ran to help him by turning him in the direction of third base, and shouted, "Run to third! Shay, run to third!"
As Shay rounded third, the boys from both teams, and the spectators, were on their feet screaming, "Shay, run home! Run home!" Shay ran to home, stepped on the plate, and was cheered as the hero who hit the grand slam and won the game for his team.
"That day", said the father softly with tears now rolling down his face, "the boys from both teams helped bring a piece of true love and humanity into this world".
Shay didn't make it to another summer. He died that winter, having never forgotten being the hero and making his father so happy, and coming home and seeing hi s Mother tearfully embrace her little hero of the day!
AND NOW A LITTLE FOOTNOTE TO THIS STORY: We all send thousands of jokes through the e-mail without a second thought, but when it comes to sending messages about life choices, people hesitate. The crude, vulgar, and often obscene pass freely through cyberspace, but public discussion about decency is too often suppressed in our schools and workplaces.
If you're thinking about forwarding this message, chances are that you're probably sorting out the people in your address book who aren't the "appropriate" ones to receive this type of message. Well, the person who sent you this believes that we all can make a difference. We all have thousands of opportunities every single day to help realize the "natural order of things." So many seemingly trivial interactions between two people present us with a choice: Do we pass along a little spark of love and humanity or do we pass up those opportunities and leave the world a little bit colder in the process?
A wise man once said every society is judged by how it treats it's least fortunate amongst them.
You now have two choices:
1. Delete
2. Forward
May your day, be a Shay Day!
i think thats the problem they cant and thats why nothings being done
how would they control the situation? ummm...
This is an interesting interview. =]
http://www.investorshub.com/boards/read_msg.asp?message_id=19838033
i believe its a must BUT they have to be able to control the situation alone first...
So the question as not been discussed yet, "should we withdrawl from Iraq"? All dynamics should be discussed, not on just one latitude. Lets discuss.
so that someone else doesnt have to take over with the same football the previous monkey played with.......

lol ok ok
so we were on the way to drop me off at work wednesday morning and are less than a half mile around the corner from it....
when all of a sudden some kid in his early 20,s decides he,s going to cut us off doing an illegal u-turn....
my girl then flashed her lights at him and flipped him off....
i had no clue about any of this till he pulled up next to her window with his down cussing at her....
so here,s where i jump in and tell him to pull over....
well my girl is freaking out and trying to ditch him and drives off but he,s on her ass and rather than just let him follow us i throw open the door around 30 mph...
she immediately hits the breaks and i jump...( stubbed my big toe doing this)...
at this point he parks his car in the street about 75 ft behind us then gets out and goes and gets an alluminum bat out of a bag in his trunk....
at this point im about 5 ft away from him calling him a puce.......
he steps towards me swinging the bat i jumped back he did this twice and i finally called him a puce and started to walk back to my car....
at this point he jumps in his car then races up next to my girls car and shoves the bat out the window in an effort to break her window in on her....
this is where i snapped....
i ran up next to his car and kicked in his back passenger window ...
he jumpped out of the car with the bat again...swung it once and missed then when he went to swing again i stepped into him wrapped the bat under my left arm and bear-hug-body slammed him on the pavement....
from there i pushed his arms over his head and gave him one really nice shot to the lower left abdomen....
it was at that point he weezed out" lets get out of here before the cops come"
i asked him if thats what he really wanted he coughed out a yes then took off like a bat out of hell....
funniest part of the whole thing was when he initially grabbed the bat he kept telling me i didnt know who i was fkg with....
lol that still puts a big ass smile on my face......
hurry hurry!!!
curiosity kills me! lol
wait till i get to work i,ll explain in detail......
