In regards to receiving anything through the Chapter 11 Plan as an equityholder, forget it. The estate will be several hundred billion dollars short of paying off creditors.

If you want a chance of getting something back in regards to investments in common stock, preferred stock or certain debt securties, this would be it.

I received a Proof of Claim today. Hopefully, I will recover something from my $270,000 principal amount investment in the 6.75% Notes due 12/28/17. Otherwise, it is a total loss. The plan will provide me some return to me on $25,000 principal amount in 0% Notes due 7/30/28.

There will not be any payout for equity. The POR plan is that after the effective date (yet to be determined) all equity will become 1 new share of LAMCO and trading for LEHMQ will be halted.
Trading for LEHMQ could end at any time IMO.

Agree with you, my friend! Those common shareholders who bought the
stock before 09/15/2008 will get the cash payment very soon. We just don't know how much they would be? My guess is: less than 10 cents a

Yes, there is a settlement agreement for litigation pending for pre-bankruptcy equity for some. Please research the recent news.
There will be NO cash for other equity holders who bought in afterwards for now. But there may be something down the road after emergence from chapter 11, but highly speculative IMO.

this was not a purchase, this was an exchange - looks like Lehman had purchased restricted shares or special warrants or maybe even private options in FXCM, and exchanged them for common stock on 1/31.

Probably because it's easier to liquidate common stock than whatever other instrument they had before.

It would be nice if CT'S continue trading and are not transferred into LAMCO like equity. Since, some have said CT'S are a hybrid of debt/equity. I would like to make some money soon instead of waiting possibly years for some LAMCO money. I guess we'll see what their agenda has in store for CT'S?

LEHKQ, LEHLQ, LEHNQ are all OTC, only LHHMQ is grey. These, IMO are the only Lehmans to own now.
Lehman equity is toast, no equity committee, no representation in this bankruptcy. Any changes in the POR will benefit the creditors on the debt side not equity side.
LEHMQ, LEHCQ, LEHDQ, LEHFQ, LEHGQ, LEHJQ, LEHPQ, LBHGP will be halted on the effective date and become 1 share of Lamco equity IMO.
How do you see equity being included even if the POR changes with no vote or any voice here?
You are holding a hot potatoe here buying into LEHMQ at the 11th hour of this bankruptcy IMO.

Recent actions show cause to think a change to the por is coming, and if you think the pref's on the greys will some how be of value I would say the 668,000 face value bought for 6 dollars and 68 cents today would suggest otherwise. all imo
