Nobody knows how low this will go.
That's what I was just jumping on to ask. Anyone have an educated guess at where the bottom may be?
Are they still talking about doing a reverse split at (kos)
Sorry I didn’t get back to you sooner. I’m not on here to much.
I hope earnings are good but I don’t know.
Anyone has inputs on how the earnings will be for Kosmos? They're an offshore producer as opposed to shale, so the stock isn't in the junk/distressed category certainly. Also, the question of reverse split and how that will impact going forward.
Thanks Stockminder have a great night.
I don't, the vote was to approve authorization to do it. I didn't see planned date. I assume an 8k will be issued before they do it.
Do you know when the reverse split is post to happen on (KOS) stock?
THANK YOU , wow 2.00 stock doing RS , I'm used to .0002 doing it-
The Price has been dropping since the vote was approved. This might have something to do with it...
Why's KOS such a dog red on green market days?
Took a position at .91 about 1 month ago. As floating inventory is consumed ...as the world is getting back to work....oil will rebound accordingly. Russia and Saudi Arabia behaving..... USA filling strategiy reserve.... Look for $3 by August.
$KOS "Our data indicates that Kosmos Energy Ltd. is worth US$478m, and total annual CEO compensation was reported as US$6.4m for the year to December 2018. While we always look at total compensation first, we note that the salary component is less, at US$979k. We note that more than half of the total compensation is not the salary; and performance requirements may apply to this non-salary portion. We examined companies with market caps from US$200m to US$800m, and discovered that the median CEO total compensation of that group was US$2.3m." https://finance.yahoo.com/news/much-did-kosmos-energy-ltd-133455836.html
Good morning $KOS'ers, from the west coast, where it is almost 3:00 am.
Investopedia can do a better job than I can...
linky
Essentially, what I find important here is that institutional investors and funds are moving back into $KOS.
I got in at 1,46 on Wednesday midday, and currently up 14%...not counting after-hours increases.
What are basket trades? Thanks.
$KOS has posted +/- 50% gains in PPS since since it opened under 1,10 on April 27th, posting an average 12% - 13% PER DAY over the past four days. As the 28th was a wash & basically a consolidation day with little to no gain, $KOS daily gain are higher than that on most days.
The potential here is real, short term, and deserves a look.
The Squirrel
Consumer demand, far from waning, is going to explode with the ending of stay-at-home orders this month (in most areas, likely - check with your state gov't for particulars). It is already a shitshow of bored and stimulus-check-fat consumers rushing the still-open "necessary" business (Home Depot, fast food, Wally World, etc.). Wait until the mom-n-pop stores open. Oil stockholders are going to witness a HUGE snap back in PPS.
$KOS closed today at 1,65. It's 12 month high is 7,55 (in mid-November), low was .501 (in mid-March...obviously a virus-related drop). $KOS was as high as 6,50 in mid-January before the virus really kicked in and the Russian-Saudi OPEC dispute was resolved. Now extremely undervalued considering near-term economic conditions.
As goes amerikan consumption, so goes oil consumption. If we were to retrace to even half of January's value (6,50 ÷ 2 = 3,25) in the next few weeks, we are looking at dollar gains of 1,60 per share, or about a 100% bounce, over the next week or two...three at the most. Possibly even more. The bottom is in, the turnaround has begun...the six month chart, consumer patterns, and common sense make that clear...not to even mention heavy 'tute buying after hours today.
In my opinion, any buy in under 2,00 holds much short-term promise!
Go $KOS!
Up 15% today (while Dow down over 1%) with strong after hours sales. I could see $KOS climbing to 1,80 - 1,90 (10% - 15%) without too much trouble on Friday.
HUGE numbers of basket trades being executed after hours. 'Tutes are plowing back into the oil market on strong stock market news, lower than expected stockpiles, Gilead's coronavirus treatment news, blah, blah, blah.
Took a starter position at 1,46. Looks like we are going to gap up at open, perhaps. Steady after hours movement.
