The chart look like this will probably go up vs. down. A nice spike would be real nice between now and the news.
Longer in the sideways trade larger the spike....;)
Or drop.
Well at least it's some news, not really what we are looking for, but news. Down 5.56% today.

I averaged down to 0.26. Next meeting is in Feb?
I've held on and added in the .20s. Any good news this is an easy double. Does seem to have steadied finally. I'd think .20's and .30s will be norm until some anticipation of earnings is expected. Gamble yes, potential, yes.
These companies live and die by the PR's these days.
A couple of things I've seen in the short term charts is that OBV is going up over the past month and there have been only buying volume spikes. Some key indicators are still bearish, but I it looks to me like they are getting squeezed tight and the reversal MIGHT be looming closer.
I think that the latest round of dillution sell-offs are coming to an end and there is clear value there at this price, so I agree that only horrible news will cause this thing to tank, but I believe that there is little need for a panick for at least the next couple of quarters.
I could see this an easy double and maybe even a triple from here!
What's your thoughts on this company. It seems to me that we are at or near the bottom, unless some real bad news comes out. I could trade sideways until the Feb meeting. It seems they have many expenses.

Hopefully we start to see more movement the closer we get to the Feb meeting.
you'd think this was bottom.... but looks like it could go lower.
not a pinch play. Hold what you have add add if it dips.
Could you plz tell me if this is pinching. Seems like a bottom here.
It almost seems like company dilution and some investors picking it right up and it seems to have been this way for at least a week. Even thought I bought in at .265 on Monday and .27 last week, I'd even feel happy if it dropped, because I would buy in at the next support. I do believe that there is a big upside of potential for Kodiak
Well if .26 seems like the support, it may be a good idea to add some here...IMO.
I have to agree, the charting sure supports it. Looking good that the 10 day MA is finally where the price is.. I'll be adding on dips.
Also keeping an eye on that ADX.. soon as that crosses, game on.
http://stockcharts.com/h-sc/ui?s=KDKN&p=D&b=5&g=0&id=p77063467924
I'm not sure if it will get any lower. We would probably need a good market correction overall in the markets. The support has been drawn at around .26-.28 for quite a while now.
Unless there is some dillution for cash somewhere, I'd expect that we've bottomed out. It might stay at this level for a while as with Cougar producing they probably don't need much cash. But a couple of good PRs and this one is back in business.
Thanks for the link.
Well if this drops to .2 or lower, I will be loading up.
I'm more interested now in the Nat. Gas part of this too. Now that Almighty Exxon is buying in big for Nat. Gas.
We will be seeing signs of progress in H.R. 1835???? I think so.
http://www.govtrack.us/congress/bill.xpd?bill=h111-1835
Time maybe to load up. Oil is currently below 70.
haha...I believe that those accumulators are wise investors that realize that this has probably bottomed out.
I know I bought some the other day and I will probably get some more next week.
Tis the season to start pumping....fah la la la la...la la la la.
I've been in for quite a while and stayed in after the last bounce. However, this time I am going to play the bounce and go in fruther on Monday. It doesn't look like much but the charts show that some investors are starting to kick the tires on ol' KDKN. Maybe we will get a Christmas pump now that we had our first intercontinental blizzard and larger draw of energy. And it goes within my strategy of the more investors that stick there nose up at something, the more I get interested.
Oil is just above 70. Might be time to load up on this one?
Sorry I'm not in this right now....I'm sure you'll see some movement heading north any day here......with the current price of oil increasing.
Been pretty quiet here lately. Who thinks that we have hopefully hit bottom. Hoping we see some movement come Feb.
You and me both!!!Lol.
I wouldn't mind seeing this get back down to .12 like in March. Then I would load up.
Looks like this could go lower yet.
Thanks. I don't know if this can be a 3 dollr stock but it sure is beat up now. I doubt it will fall much further.
I've noticed a nice bit of stabalization around the .262 level. I bought in another load today.
I've been following them for about 2.5 years now. I am invested in them, that is all.
These exploration companies really got hit hard during the financial crises.
If I were you, I would wait for stabilization first. I think it might go down some more yet. Last March it hit the 52 week low of about .12 per share, but then shot up over .7
Watch the charts.
Are you personally familiar with this company? I am not. Have. Small position but may throw more. Thanks.
Still on selling pressure. Man, I'd love for this to get back under .20 a share again. I'd load up like there is no tomorrow.
Yep - looks like it is bottoming - hope it levels off for a bit before it spikes back up - then I will add.
I'm watching it... looks like it's starting to bottom finally.
Hey..... Im still in..... Holding Long. Adding at this price not a bad idea????
Chart is rediculous EXCEPT someone is accumulating at this low price... thats not dropping at all. Take a look
http://stockcharts.com/h-sc/ui?s=KDKN&p=D&b=5&g=0&id=p77063467924
Finally an up day. I'm not going to stress it.. Nothing but good news to come on this one. Definitely be some ups and downs but overall it has the potential to make nice gains especially if the leave the share count low!!
Good luck to everyone, been super busy which is why I've been slow on my posts.
Give this a chance...... Read the latest...
http://www.kodiakpetroleum.com/i/pdf/CEI_management_discussion_Red_Earth_Core_Projects_FINAL_2009-10-26.pdf
I'd say its a buy..... its now a producing company trading at a price of a company that only has land leases.... Hmmmmmm
Probably more so because energy companies are under a bit of pressure of oversupply that it is more of an over-reaction than anything.
Will be a good buy in when it settles at the bottom.
I see all this bad news but come on.....why is this falling so far..... 10Q had losses but....
In the nine months ended September 30, 2009, the Company had no income (2008 - $46) and operating costs of $6,793 (2008 - $8,863) relating
to its Granlea, Alberta property which well watered out in late 2006 and was deemed uneconomic. Except for that incidental production, the
Company remained in the exploratory and development stage up to September 30, 2009. Effective October 1, 2009, the company will begin
having production and receiving revenue from the producing properties it acquired September 30, 2009 as described elsewhere in this report.
Thats what I'm thinking..... Maybe a double down !! GLTY
Big drop in price today - time to load up some more IMO.
Is that what this is about???? So what? Its still the same situation..... Producing oil co. with exploration ongoing ?
Now I see why it's been under pressure... those from the TSX. Cool.
