looks like they may break ground on that plant/line soon
I looked at the presentation, they have lots of producing areas they wish to develop, also the gas line they do have I believe 65 barrel per day production so that's why the low pps, when the potential here is tapped and they are finished with everything including that gas line I bet there will be several dollars pps here
this co.? Pieridae
you might want to take a look at just who their JV partner is-
and what they did accomplish on Canada's west coast-
futr
and because of the great $$$$ oppty...they were approached by a company for a j/v to get those things built for marketing / transporting that gas
ok,i thought I read elsewhere they already had producing $$$ wells a lot so that's why I wondered because it seems like the pps should be much higher but if they have the goods and exploring, drilling program and not actually producing the bulk of them til later I fully understand why its low at this time
Now you're beginning to understand-
futr
I probably used the wrong wording...they DISCOVERED all those gas reserves? but must have that plant/line to sell/move it for sale...correct?
Its actually more complex than that-
I suggest you invest the time to at least read Contact's Corporate Presentation-
Contact has already proven trillions of cu./ft. of nat gas in New Brunswick.
Without that Prieridae wouldn't have ever approached Contact for the JV-
futr
ok,so now they are just in the exp. stage and still must develop the leases and get that plant started?
Thats for you to accomplish-
futr
Depends on timing of New Brunswick well completions, and reserve upgrades-
Might be by 4th quarter 2015-
futr
did you subscribe?? if so whats the just of the interview,it says to pay to view the article/interview
when do you see this going over a dollar?
The following is a link to Contact's JV Partner's website-

futr
where do you see the pps then?
im looking at it now..seems the pps should be higher with all the current production
A lot of your questions can be answered on the corporate presentation:
http://www.contactexp.com/Presentation_2_files/CEX%20Corporate%20Presentation%20Apr%202.pdf
Looks like a good strategy going forward with potential for significant growth.
when would they expect to break ground on that plant?
when does everybody expect production etc to begin?
when is all that going to happen? and where would you expect to see the pps? lurking here
Contact Exploration's Kakwa Development Continues with Successful Test Results in Upper Montney Zone
Contact Exploration Inc. ("Contact" or the "Company") (TSX VENTURE:CEX) is
pleased to announce that the seventh Contact-operated horizontal Montney well at
02/14- 30 -63-5 W6 (the "02/14-30 Well") (Contact 25% working interest) drilled
in the Upper Montney D4 interval has been successfully completed and tested. The
well was drilled to a total measured depth of 4,563 metres, with a horizontal
leg of 1,068 metres, approximately 200-500 metres shorter than Contact's other
Kakwa wells and the shortest of the Company's Kakwa horizontal wells drilled to
date. The well was completed using a water-based nitrogen foam frac and then
tested for approximately 119 hours, flowing up 4.5 inch casing. During the final
24 hours of flow-back the well continued to clean up frac fluid and produced
against anticipated gathering system pressure of approximately 1,800 kPa and
averaged gross production rates of 1,076 boe/d consisting of 621 bbl/d
condensate and 2,734 mscf/d natural gas (155 bbl/d and 684 mscf/d, or 269 boe/d
combined, net to Contact).
The 02/14-30 Well is Contact's first operated well in the uppermost Montney D4
interval. Contact is encouraged by the strong test rates and high ratio of
condensate to natural gas production from this interval and the potential for
additional development of this interval across its entire East Kakwa land
position. Production results from the Upper Montney D4 interval in the 02/14-30
Well have been announced based on the initial production test period given the
significance to the Company of having achieved Kakwa development success in an
additional Montney interval. As previously announced, Contact expects to release
further development drilling production results at Kakwa based on 30 day initial
production rates.
The Company advises that although the initial rates from the 02/14-30 Well are
very encouraging, production test results are not necessarily indicative of
long-term performance or of ultimate recovery from the 02/14-30 Well.
Final well equipping and onsite facilities work will begin immediately to
provide for tie-in of production from the 02/14-30 Well into Company-operated
infrastructure. Contact anticipates that the 02/14-30 well should be ready for
production in early May 2014.

Contact Announces Interim Filing, Credit Facilities Increase and Operations Update
CALGARY, ALBERTA--(Marketwired - Feb. 28, 2014) - Contact Exploration Inc. ("Contact" or the "Company") (TSX VENTURE:CEX) is pleased to announce that it has today filed its condensed interim consolidated financial statements for the three and nine month periods ended December 31, 2013 and the related management's discussion and analysis ("MD&A") on the Company's profile on the System for Electronic Document Analysis and Retrieval ("SEDAR") website at www.sedar.com.
Credit Facility Increase
The Company is also pleased to announce that its senior lender has increased the amounts available under the Company's credit facilities to $7.7 million. The amended operating facility has been increased to $4.5 million and the non-revolving acquisition and development demand loan has been increased to $3.2 million. No amounts are currently drawn under either facility.
Operations Update
Contact is currently in the late stages of drilling the Contact operated well at 02/14- 30 -63-5 W6M ("02/14-30 Well"). This well was originally programmed to target a bottom hole location of 15- 30 -63-5 W6M, but during drilling it became operationally advantageous to target a bottom hole location of 14- 30 -63-5 W6M. The 02/14-30 Well is being drilled in the Upper Montney D4 interval. The Company anticipates that completion operations on the 02/14-30 Well will be finalized in late March 2014. With success, Contact expects the 02/14-30 Well to be equipped and flowing into the Company's central compression and condensate stabilization facility in May 2014. Upon rig release of the 02/14-30 Well, the Company anticipates spudding a well by mid-March 2014 from a centrally located pad at 7-19-63-5 W6M, with the intention of drilling a minimum of two new wells from this surface location through spring break-up 2014.
Contact's 5-23-63-6 W6M (25% WI) well was brought on production in early January 2014 and averaged 2.0 mmcf/d (gross) natural gas production during its first 30 days of production, with an average field condensate production estimate of 350bbl/d (gross) (being 500 mcf/d and 88bbl/d, or 171 boe/d, net to Contact).
Contact's 16-25-63-6 W6M (25%) well was brought on production in early February 2014 and has averaged 2.3 mmcf/d (gross) natural gas production during its first 26 days of production, with an average field condensate production estimate of 430bbl/d (gross) (being 575 mcf/d and 107bbl/d, or 203 boe/d, net to Contact).
Contact's 16-17-63-5 W5M (25% WI) well was brought on production in mid-February 2014, which well has experienced production performance similar to the other Contact wells brought on production in 2014.
Since bringing its central compressor and condensate stabilization facility online in mid-January 2014, Contact's aggregate net production has fluctuated between 500 - 800 boe/d, on per producing day basis. Contact expects production from its existing Kakwa wells to stabilize once all early stage operational matters are addressed in the normal course. Rates will also be subject to normal production declines, which Contact expects to offset with production from new wells scheduled to be drilled at Kakwa.

Contact's JV Partner--Goldboro LNG Environmental Assessment Filed
Pieridae Energy is pleased to inform you that the Environmental Assessment report for the proposed Goldboro LNG project has been submitted to Nova Scotia Environment. The report was completed after much consultation with local communities, government agencies, and engagement with First Nation communities.
The report provides a comprehensive description of the proposed project, a detailed description of the existing environmental conditions, as well as a thorough assessment of potential environmental effects and how the project will mitigate and/or compensate for adverse effects.
The environmental assessment confirmed that with the proposed environmental management, mitigation, and compensation, adverse effects will be largely localized, short-term and reversible. None of the directly affected project areas are considered critical habitat for Species at Risk.
The assessment also confirmed that the economic benefits of the project will provide a significant opportunity for the Municipality of the District of Guysborough, local communities, the Province of Nova Scotia and Atlantic Canada.
The Goldboro LNG project environmental assessment report can be viewed at https://www.novascotia.ca/nse/ea/Projects.asp. Hard copies of the report are also made available in various locations listed on the website.
The report is now subject to review by an Environmental Assessment Panel. The review process will include opportunity for public input. The EA Panel will be accepting comments until December 16, 2013. Details will be posted in local newspapers and on the project website www.GoldboroLNG.com.
Please note, while we remain committed to an open dialogue, at this stage in the approvals process your concerns and support for the project should be directly communicated to the Environmental Assessment Panel. The contact information is available on Nova Scotia Environment website above.
This is a major milestone for the Goldboro LNG project and we thank you for your continued interest.

Contact Exploration Continues Success With Kakwa Liquids-Rich Montney Development
CALGARY, ALBERTA--(Marketwired - Oct. 16, 2013) - Contact Exploration Inc. ("Contact" or the "Company") (TSX VENTURE:CEX) is pleased to announce that the fourth Contact-operated horizontal Montney well at 5-23-63-6 W6 (the "5-23 Well") (Contact 25% working interest) has been successfully completed and tested. The well was flow-tested for approximately 170 hours. During the final 24 hours of flow-back the well produced against anticipated gathering system pressure of approximately 2,000 kPa and averaged gross production rates of 1,433 boe/d consisting of 815 bbl/d condensate and 3,704 mscf/d natural gas (204 bbl/d and 920 mscf/d, or 358 boe/d combined, net to Contact).
The 5-23 Well continues to demonstrate a high ratio of condensate to natural gas production from the Kakwa Montney play, flowing at an average 195 bbls of condensate/mmscf during the entire test. The total drill depth of the 5-23 Well was approximately 70 to 100 meters vertically deeper and two miles further west than any other Contact-operated Kakwa well. The confirmation of liquids-rich gas prospectivity in the Middle Montney further to the west on Contact's East Kakwa lands extends the scope and magnitude of the Company's East Kakwa project.
The Company advises that although the initial rates from the 5-23 Well are very encouraging, production test results are not necessarily indicative of long-term performance or of ultimate recovery from the 5-23 Well. Going forward, Contact plans to release 30 day initial production rates from additional wells drilled at Kakwa, the results of which are expected to be more reflective of longer term performance.
Facilities and pipeline work will begin immediately to provide for tie-in of production from the 5-23 Well into Company-operated infrastructure, including the 16-7-63-5 W6M compressor station and condensate stabilization facility ("16-7 Facility"). Construction of the 16-7 Facility continues on schedule for facility start-up in December 2013.
Contact continues to make improvements to the design of its operated wells at Kakwa. The Company's fifth operated Kakwa well at 16-25-63-5 W6M ("16-25 Well") was spud on September 10, 2013 and reached a total depth of 4,680 meters after 33.5 days of drilling, representing a 25% reduction in drilling time from other Contact-operated Kakwa wells. Production casing is now being run in the 16-25 Well, with rig release expected in the very near term. Contact expects to begin completion operations on 16-25 Well in November 2013.
Contact has entered into a one year contract with a drilling contractor, securing a drilling rig for use in Kakwa. The Company intends to utilize this rig to spud its next 25% working interest Montney well to drill from a surface location at 16-8-63-5 W6M with a bottom hole location at 16-17-63-5 W6M in November 2013.

Contact Exploration Provides Operations Update
CALGARY, ALBERTA--(Marketwired - Sept. 9, 2013) - Contact Exploration Inc. ("Contact" or the "Company") (TSX VENTURE:CEX) is pleased to announce that the fourth Contact-operated Kakwa Montney well, at 5-23-63-6 W6M (the "5-23 Well") has been successfully drilled horizontally to a total measured depth of 5017 meters. The 5-23 Well included a planned vertical stratigraphic penetration, whereby a full suite of logs throughout the Montney Formation was acquired and full diameter core data through the Upper and Middle Montney intervals was retrieved, allowing Contact to further calibrate the 5-23 Well and the other wells in the area. The drilling of the 5-23 Well was accomplished on time and on budget. Completion of the 5-23 Well, to include multi-stage fracing and flow testing, is anticipated to be concluded by late October 2013. Contact holds a 25% working interest in the 5-23 Well.
Contact is now mobilizing the drilling rig in anticipation of spudding the Company's fifth operated well at Kakwa by mid September 2013.
Lease construction of the Company's central compressor site is ongoing, with mechanical installation set to begin in early October 2013. Upon completion, this centralized facility will receive production from all Contact-operated Kakwa wells. The facility has been designed to reduce pipeline flowing pressures, assisting with both liquids lifting capacity in the wellbores and further pressure reduction on the reservoirs, and is also expected to eliminate the need for equipment currently employed at well sites to separate free condensate from natural gas. The facility remains on schedule for start-up prior to calendar year end.
Contact has been advised by the operator of the Kakwa Montney well at 14-2-63-6 W6M (the "14-2 Well") that this well is expected to be placed on production by the end of September 2013. Contact holds a non-operated 23.75% working interest in the 14-2 Well.
