Indeed, Martin, and Happy New Year!!!
It is make it or break it time for this company. It has been so silent after the initial years of press releases and price appreciation. But it never made it back into the 30 cent pps range for my first target before blast off. Sounds so optimistic and so long ago.
I have to think there has been some corporate restructuring with the news black out and the large block share purchases at ever lower prices after the BUYER jacked up price pre share into the high teens where I bailed out.
Now I may take some new positions in size to add to my small position. SOMETHING is afoot and with all the buying at fire sale prices it is hard to believe there is not something big in the wings.Of course I have been expecting a break out for 3 years now.
Time is not on our side unless early 2016 is the TURNING POINT!
GOOD LUCK TO ALL!!!
If they are on schedule... we should hear something soon.
AIV-BEX's first line will have a monthly capacity of 30,000 sheets and will begin production towards the end of 2015.

It's the rumor that simply won't die: Apple will use OLED screens in a future round of iPhones. The latest report comes via Reuters citing unnamed sources from South Korea's Electronic Times (Korean). Also cited was last month's report from Nikkei that stated Apple's intent for the gorgeous screen tech is to add it to the 2018 iPhone.
Apparently the two companies making OLED displays, LG and Samsung, are close to a deal with Cupertino and they're planning to spend over $12 billion to increase production capacity. Hmm, that lines up with previous info from LG about new manufacturing lines. Reuters notes that Apple "will likely" offer some cash to offset LG and Samsung's investment, too. Keep in mind that Apple's already using OLED, it's just in a much smaller form: the Apple Watch.

MORE RUMORS ABOUT OLED AND APPLE.
Yesterday Reuters cited the Electronics Times saying that SDC and LGD are close to signing an agreement with Apple. The two display makers will invest $12.8 billion together to increase OLED capacity for Apple. Reuters says that Apple will likely provide some funding to LG and Samsung, and Samsung will get the larger share of the OLED volume.

Did anyone happen to see the 9800 shares traded? I think it was 1000 and then 8800
Was it on the ask.... Or the bid?
It looks as if there is a huge ask. ... But it's at 10 and not 2ish.
Can't get any at 2. ... WHICH IS FINE - - I have a lot of shares that I will personally value ( or rationalize ) as being worth 10.
Happy Holidays to all, s/b a quiet week next week.

Remember the million shares bought a few months ago?
I said it was either insiders buying... or a hot stock team front loading. Well... I think at this stage, it was not front loading.
Everyone will need to decide for himself. For me.... I have not sold. I am just gonna sit and wait.
Is averaging down a good idea in general? I think so.
record low...you still feel confident about this stock?
Wowzers huh?
Anyone know what the ask was at close?
Should I rationalize this ?
At 2¢, I might want to rationalize another 100,000 shares.

That's called rationalizing your investment. lol
The saving grace of the stock market ( and some other free markets as well )
FOR EVERY SELLER ( at some agreed upon price ) THERE IS A BUYER.
So if someone negatively says this, ."people are selling AIVI" - - then this posi-
tive outlook is simultaneously true: .. "people are buying AIVI" !
( However the price might be dropping all the while . . . . . )
Until
Found it interesting on L2 that the shares sold were for .02...but there was an almost auto buy at .0395...
Excellent point
Perhaps the seller will want back in after 30+ days . . .
. . . . . ( after harvesting the value of the loss ) if they still see value in AIVI ?

Your post :
230K+ shares sold...makes you wonder what is going on...who is buying...
Shake and bake perhaps?
Lets face it we know absolutely nothing. The company has done nothing in regards to their public listing in years. I have a fairly big position and hope something happens but that's all it is hope.
Obviously.... If it is insiders.... They know what is coming.
If it is a hot stock pick front loading... They bought cheap shares to sell when it gets pumped.
It was more than one person.... That I know for sure.
Personally... I believe it was insiders who know what's coming. My second guess is front loading for a hot stock pick.
However... A third possibility is a potential buyer of the company bought up some shares.
Yes, but to what end? That is the big question.
It was either insiders.... Or a stock pick front loading.
But 750k...that's too much even for AIVI lol...and they're doing a bad pump job if that's the case.
All you need to make money is shares. That is what a pump and dump is. Someone collecting shares and then promoting it. Or it could be a real investor buying.
A lot of tiny OTC companies are not very good, it's rare to find a good one. Hang on to the good ones
But to what end is my question...makes 0 sense.
Could be accumulation.
Just to let everyone know I have AIVI in my basket of stocks. I can't afford to bet the farm on one stock though. Small position only until I see something concrete.
I am completely baffled by your excellent question on the
750K shares !
People buy (i) when it's advantageous and (ii) when they
think they have better information than the seller.
That much is true, and I know no more than that.
750K shares based on what information ? ... Beats me !
Gotta go !
Actually, now that I review the volume...more than 1M shares were traded between May and July 2015...
So I take it you're still in AIVI?
What do you make of these weird last few months...why would someone add 750k shares...for a stock in danger of delisting?
Still working no time to contribute to this thread too much
GO TO OTC Markets and you'll see beaucoup stocks removed from trading.

Someone retail has an order in at .015 CDEL...there's something fishy here.
From 2014:
The capacity of LED manufacturers has been strategically increased
According to AIVtech chairman and CEO JinLin Guo, they launched production of LED-backlit LCD TVs in April 2010 and expect led high bay light TVs to contribute a sizable portion of their revenue in 2010.It’s said that they have already established relationships with many well-known European retailers and distributors and have obtained excellent feedback following their first order from Europea Trade in June."
Along above cooperation, the ODM contract between AIVtech, Europea Trade and its trading partner Q Media is for the manufacture of LCD TVs that employ LED backlighting, offering improved lifetime, brightness, and picture quality versus traditional fluorescent tube-backlit LCD TVs.Due to the scarcity of electronic components from upper stream, for production capacity entire LED industry has shrunk significantly. Also, many major international LED manufacturers have extended its delivery time to reflect to this emergency. As today, the lead time has been stretched out from 5 weeks to nearly 20 weeks. This bad situation swept the LED industry, which is in rapidly growing stage now. The serious impact does not only affect LED manufacturers, but also for distributors and trading companies who are facing huge financial penalty by postponing delivery schedule. The estimated amount of damage is more than several billions US dollars.
According to LED industry professionals, the chaos of electronic components shortage is expending to all relative businesses. The demand of LED is growing in a much faster pace than anyone expected. The entire market is disturbed by some distributors fighting for inventory. Since the end of 2009, the lack of electronic components led to price increase for metal raw material. Today LED industry also shares the panic for lacking of electronic components.
Based on the report published by LED professional media, LEDinside, although the capacity of LED manufacturers has been strategically increased, the shortage of blue jewels and other essential components is still enormous. As 2010 Q2, the price of components has doubled, and created a disaster to LED Linear high bay light. According to The Commercial Times, the most popular business newspaper in Taiwan, points out, besides the lack of LED chips, the shortage of electronic components is another critical reason for decreasing production. Furthermore, the demand of LED lighting is exceeds supply significantly. The severe shortage situation may lead to battle-for-product crisis, which create huge indirect impact to LED distributors.
I'll have to do research on this topic. I know sometimes the SEC removes stocks from trading.
My point is they really can't...it would take MMs to basically say we don't want to create the market for the company anymore.
SKYC is also a pink sheet...I'm convinced their fates are intertwined in some way...and that there is more to this story...$20M plus companies with real revs and a factory built (with verification from gje2) don't go poof overnight.
But that's why these are the ultimate risky bets.
Pink sheets will usually stay pink...it takes a heck of a lot for them to stop listing...usually it's the brokers/MMs that will ask for it.
Can companies get "delisted" from the OTCQX, OTCQB and OTC Pink marketplaces?
The only way to remove a company from the OTCQX, OTCQB and OTC Pink marketplaces is for all of the broker-dealers to stop quoting it. Companies are required to contact FINRA Operations if their securities no longer exist, but are still being quoted. FINRA will investigate and, if appropriate, eliminate the trading symbol and inform OTC Markets Group that they have done so. OTC Markets Group will then remove the quotations in this security.

462 record holders, yikes. If they get terminated I believe it takes 1 year before they can apply to trade again (not sure about this though.)

Would have been nice if they filed a Form 15. Following the rules is a plus.
Based on my knowledge I believe there are approximately between 30-45 holders of this company...but I could be wrong.
Coolbluewater, this is what I posted a couple of days ago on the China Unlimited board. Would you know how many record holders AIVI currently has?

Currently the plan is to start production in 2014. The total investment in this project will be around ¥30 billion (or about $4.82 billion, including building all the infrastructure such as roads and power lines), and the first line (with the 30,000 monthly sheet capacity) will cost ¥3.6 billion ($580 million). Obviously this is a very ambitious project, especially if you consider that AIV is currently trading at a value of around $1.7 to $3 million USD. It doesn't seem likely to me that this company will be able to raise the cash needed to develop this project (although the local government will help with the funding and AIV claims they have investors lined up).
