Yup, This we do know, 12 holes with gold and silver !!!
Sweet so now we have Canada gold and Africa gold to look forward to :)
Another misleading post. Link is about NOBLE not BVIG or Ghana LOT.
I only saw Phase I on Handcamp (It was 12 holes with gold and silver in all 12 holes)
If this is new then we need clarification.
Where did that line come from?
it never lost that much. this has been explained many times. it has to do with what the share price of bvig was at the time of the purchase of the shell. thinnk about it. when did bvig ever have, or spend that much money
132,000,000 million in loses since inception. Good job Ken.
KATG The Company has commenced exploratory drilling operations on the Handcamp property and sent core samples obtained for analysis. The Company is currently awaiting the results of these core samples.
10-Q out !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Mr. Stead, CEO, stated, "Thomas Brookes is a seasoned professional with a reputation for getting things done. He has operated extensively in Ghana and other countries in the regions. His 'boots on the ground experience' is invaluable and substantially reduces, if not completely eliminates any learning curve. Our next step planned is to ramp up Gold Production at the Ekom Eya mine which we believe is a very significant Gold deposit."

The cup will be spilling over!
Hahaha nah, I dont understand how this company can ever be taken seriously... did they just put all their "flagship" projects on the back burner in favor of starting ANEW in a political and geological climate they know almost NOTHING about??
Seems foolish.
The only way I can conceive it happening in a legitimate way is if there was a JV secured, or a divesting of assets, maybe selling it to a company so they can develop it, and KATX keeps a royalty or something.
Been long in this stock 2 years now, and I can safely say I probably flushed cash down the toilet.
Also, what happened to our BVIG shares? :\

6 km = 3.72822 mi.
OR 3 mi. and 1281.6 yd
With those calculations a scale showing the area would best demonstrate your point?

My post to HV with links...

HV...It was part of a 'Development Plan' initiated under the Terms in late 2009.
In the SEMS reports you will find they mention this in 2010 and 2011.
In 2006, following a strategic review and prioritisation of its worldwide operations, Anglogold Ashanti put the Bibiani mine up for sale. At this point the Bibiani mine had produced a total of approximately four million ounces of gold over its operational life.
The mine was purchased from AngloGold Ashanti by Central African Gold (CAG) who continued to explore and develop the underground potential of the old Bibiani mine. Towards the end of 2008 the financial position in respect of the Bibiani mine had deteriorated to such an extent that CAG was unable to continue operations and the local company, CAG Ghana Limited, and its assets were handed over to Investec Bank, South Africa to whom CAG owed a significant debt.
Investec subsequently put the mine on care and maintenance and initiated a process of evaluating the options of operating or selling the mine.
In late 2009, Noble Mineral Resources Ltd signed a ‘Sale of Shares’ agreement to acquire CAG Ghana Ltd from Investec Bank subject to a number of Conditions. One of these Conditions states that Noble shall formulate a ‘Development Plan’ for the development of and the return to production of the Bibiani mining and processing operations.

I understand why you view this as encouraging and, if the Company had a tight float and zero debt, this might be something to get excited about.
However, over the last two years the Company's performance and practices have destroyed investor confidence.
I know you understand this is a capital intensive business and junior mining companies must raise a lot of capital.
How do you think this will translate given all the variables, i.e., under Regulation S, Operational Expenses, and realistic projections?
Still waiting for realistic projections based on those questions.
The RS is coming sooner. A big 'un.
IMO.
With Katx having 12% of the shares BVIG and the co-op not working anything under 4 g/t all this time and with mineable at 0.5g/t
IMO financing is on the way SOOOOOOON !!!!!!
Very simple fix !!!!
The mining and treatment methods adopted by Ekom Eya are highly inadequate as they use selective mining methods and work only high grade ore. In this regard grades in the range of 4 g/t are left untouched.
----------------
Having KAT GOLD HOLDINGS in the Mix here to imrove on the past mining methods this is a Win Win here.

Here is the Ekom Eya Resource Estimation
Inputting of all available data on the concession gave indicated gold resources of approximately 1,380,887 tons @ 6.0g/t (266,380 ozs) within the confines of the concession. However strike extensions remain open at both ends and at depth.

It more than talk when a NEW road goes to mine you do not own to a gold processing plant that you do own.
200 million dollars is a lot of new and repaired roads in Ghana.
The cup is way more than 1/2 full!!!!
Where HV? The presentation is for Nobles.
Not one mention of resources or reserves for Ekom Eya.
The area they are concerned with is outlined in red on the map.
Perhaps an investment in Nobles would be more profitable?
If you made that statement I would agree.
However, posting a link to Nobles Presentation is of zero relevance to Kat Exploration or Kat Gold Holdings Corp.
Volume on KATX is slow today but should pick up, It ownes 12% of BVIG and if investors want in they will just have to slap the ask.
I noticed that Noble has the Kat Gold Property in a presentation PDF that talks about:
I agree with you, sir, about the nature of these pinks. Good thing I'm wearing my steel-toed boots.
KATX
The point is it is a PINK .... the story does not matter.. the news does not matter . .the business model does not matter . .the share structure does not matter ..The CEO, fins .. etc ,etc
The only thing that matters is when these things get attention ..
otherwise they are all scams .. pos's
Stocks are supposed to trade ..
shame the intellect squandering the day discussing a pink that does not trade .. most of you are much smarter than that ..
move on people .. there is money to be made out there ., lolzzz
eelfland...KATX made the PUMP and DUMP Hall of Fame!
Clearly the 'Resurrection of Old News' is to remind us.
Sssso... As a 'Public Service Announcement' on...
KATX 05-10-11...KATX 'claim' is legitimate.
The Bottom Line - once again. Up to now IT IS ALL JUST TALK. Nothing has yet been approved by the S E C. Will it all come true eventually ?? ...... NOBODY KNOWS !!!!!!!!!!!!
400mil Nope.....

believes that the market’s perceptions about Kat Exploration have changed due in part to the large volume of its outstanding common stock trading in the market. The benefits to each of Kat Gold and Kat Exploration of their parent-subsidiary structure have diminished. Kat Gold desires a new price/capital structure
Seen that late filing yet
Bet you don't
Mappo, always appreciate your informative and right on target posts, The information you provide makes the complexities of the nature of Jr mining easy to understand, even for new investors. Thanks for your patience and DD.
My answer $400,000,000 nothing more to say!
mappo 'Regulation S' will gut investors...
Investors are going to need a lot of patience and hope regardless of what properties they have.
The Company clearly states throughout their Filings...
"The company isn't foreseeing any profitability in the near future"
Those are brutal facts investors should consider when weighing the risks.
They need to raise capital and will be spending money on targets that, even if successful, are not really valuable—most are too small and marginal at best as Lab results were disappointing.
"Regulation S"...
Companies do not have to register stock they sell outside the United States to foreign or "off-shore" investors.
When a company uses this Rule, it's a legal loophole which inturn causes a flood of unregistered stock into the U.S. and that eventually causes the price to plummet, leaving unsuspecting U.S. investors with enormous losses.
Read the SEC Filings...Thanks B402...

ITEM 3.02 UNREGISTERED SALES OF EQUITY SECURITIES
In connection with the Purchase Agreement, described below, the Company will issue to the Sellers one hundred sixty-one million (161,000,000) shares of Common Stock. These securities will be issued in reliance on Section 4(2) of the Securities Act of 1933, as amended (the “Securities Act”). These securities will be issued solely to a non-U.S. resident and in reliance upon and pursuant to the exemptions from registration provided by Regulation S of the Securities Act.
Only those at Corporate level will benefit...
Investors should be more concerned with the return "of" their money than the return "on" their money.
No amount of PR or maps will change what is inevitable in the foreseeable future.
Regulation S is barely regulated by the SEC which is why they will be heavily diluting.
Ken did not protect investors and no divi will make up for the losses incurred.
eelfland, disagree with you.
the potentials is good for at least 2 of Kat's properties.
Maybe not everybody can see the potentials, but they are there.
It is not easy to understand the NATURE of Jr Exploration for everyone,
some just refuse to understand due to the fact that some expected over-night success.
That won't happen, exploration needs patience.

mappo...There's no current information and...
You simply needed to look up the Company under Edgar Filings.

The point, sir, is that all of this African activity is highly unlikely to benefit anybody but the Steads and their cronies, same as always. These guys have a history, and it ain't pretty.
Yes, we understand some of the negative perceptions, they have been read - NOW can we move forward. To the positive benefits to the people of Ghana and to BVIG and KATX shareholders.
There are many to discuss - MOVE - FORWARD - THE - DISCUSSION!
madoff was once there too.
I cannot believe that I sold this at .217
Thanks for the reassurrance (sp) mappo!!!
eelfland, mostly are silent majority

.
But we must remember this . . .
Price of gold closed at $1553.10 today.
KATX owns 12% of BVIG. BVIG owns gold company and gold property. Our attorneys Gracin & Marlow are located on the 26th Floor of the Chrysler Building.
"Kat Gold Holdings Corp would also like to recognize Gracin & Marlow-LLP, www.gracinmarlow.com our representative attorneys for
executing the transaction between Kat Gold Holdings Corp and Global Gold Inc. in a timely and professional manner."
I didn't see any news on that link. You're not calling that three-week old PR "news," are you?
And while I'm at it, I might as well ask: Who's this "majority" I keep hearing about? Majority of what?
But we must remember this........

KATX = 112% POS!!! DO THE MATH!!!
The last legal firm was right next door to NYSE.
