Testing if this screenshot of the 1minute chart works.

For those who have stockcharts account here is the 1minute chart I have been following today.
https://stockcharts.com/h-sc/ui?s=JOBY&p=1&yr=0&mn=0&dy=1&id=p52108805474
JOBY hot again today. + .50 so far today.
Watching the declining volume as daily chart very overbought.
1minute chart shows buyers still active. Hmmm. Will it stall for a bit here at 7.47?
Update: 7.53 now with 189,000 shares mostly buys in 1 minute. Lots of fun. 😃
Overall bullish, but don't like giving back any large chunks. Don't mind trading up and downs at all.
Ok terrible pun/dad joke “the sky’s the limit”
Sorry
Wow, JOBY testing $7 and breaking through daily and weekly resistance. Need staying power confirmation. Big ? now is where will price hold and build support? Both daily and weekly charts showing excess highs and hot indicators.
If you are a buyer just know that chartwise price is overbought right now and needs cooling, so do your DD and understand the odds ST and LT of more appreciation. Might be wise to set a mental stop loss. Just my opinion, not advice or recommendation. Trade by your own rules and strategies.
Never wrong to take profits along the way. We all have different goals and situations.
Best wishes to all for Green Trades.
Great to see follow through after yesterdays pop. Would be awesome if yesterdays gap up becomes a permanent runaway gap. Price is now outside all standard metrics on a daily chart, so when and how much will it settle back to create a new support level. Time will tell. Who knows, there may be more news coming and price will keep going up for a bit more. Aren't these type of new emerging and potentially disruptive stocks fun? 😎
Some posts from the yahoo finance board of JOBY. Verify by doing your own DD. Don't just go bananas over internet posts. All 3 posts are by different poster names.
"Joby, in my opinion is doing everything correctly to achieve certification. Moving with purpose. Sometimes this is a slow process. For good reasons. Joby and their partners, Toyota, Delta, DOD and UAE... seems to compromise a very solid foundation. The ownership, engineers and staff seem to be excellent. Cash management seems to be on a glidepath to realistically achieve the goals of the company. Really not much to dislike. Most infrastructure is in place or fairly easily established. The transition to
pilotless flight and personal (the holy grail)use could be fairly smooth. Not a technical or hardware problem. Just the will of government to adopt a practical plan for low altitude flight. Will Joby replace the family car. Probably not. But for a sizeable few it will supplement their current form of transportation. "
"Joby has submitted many patents. I didn't know this until last night, but more than one of the patents is for their seat design. You heard me right: seats. Each seat can weigh the passenger. Below each seat is a ballast, presumably filled with battery coolant. The ballast is used to balance the plane to optimize flight based on each passenger's weight. Coolant is moved from one side to the other to equalize the weight.
Another cool patent is related to the vertiports and lighting (they have several of these). The perimeter of each landing zone consists of lights to assist with night landings. When the square is red, it means an eVTOL has occupied that zone. When the square is green, the zone is open."
"JOBY is clearly ahead of the competition on every level: certification progress, capitalization, industry partners, manufacturing process and advanced engineering. One example that illustrates JOBY'S superiority in very simple terms is the aircraft weight and payload. The JOBY S4.2 has an empty weight of 4300 pounds with a useful load of 1000 pounds and max takeoff weight of 5300 pounds. The Archer Midnight has an empty weight of 6000 pounds with the same useful load of 1000 pounds and 7000 pounds max takeoff weight. So the Archer is 1700 pounds or almost 40% heavier than the JOBY to carry the exact same payload. I don't think there's a better example than this as to JOBY'S prowess in this sector and that no other competitor can hold a candle to what JOBY has already accomplished not to mention what's about to happen over the next few years.
May not be far off in the near future
Boeing offers buyout price of $50/share of JOBY, just kidding but a guy can dream!
JOBY. Nice update this morning with a price bump.

Been out of town/touch the last week. Agree.
Best wishes to you as well.
( metaphore) The word it self would be it's own answer.
One other thing. After going through 50 of the last 51 post. Is their a reason
for only 6, Of the same posters being on this board?
Are these football metaphors? Or sports?
Also like to mention pre season is over. We are at first kickoff of the season.
Let the games begin. Best of luck.
Considering and knowing WHO, and where and the HIGH rollers are from.
I've always been an offense player with the right quarterback. Im a player at that.
Specially being they are not rookies.
I have no idea for sure, what company will end up #1. Even so, JOBY continues to tick off steps and milestones needed to actually begin service ahead of all the other contenders I am aware of.
We shall see, as the next year IMO will be huge in the sector shake out.
Green Trades
Whenever I bring up the subject of flying cars or air taxi companies I usually get laughed at or dismissed. I bought in 9 months ago and expect this might be something I will to daughter because it’ll take that long to be realized. Not anymore, I add when I can and my friends don’t think it’s so funny anymore when they’re sitting in traffic for hours a day.
Long on JOBY
$$$
Watching to see how the blue lined wedge and green lined support/resistance zone play out.
Need a stochcharts account to view the linked daily chart.

LOL, Sometimes blazing the trail is a good place to be. We shall see.
I like to find potential up and comers in proceeding high growth areas at low prices and then see who emerges.
Also look for potentially disruptive ideas in bio's, techs, energy sectors etc.
Win some, lose a few so it is all about DD, managing risk and position size.
I also like to trade the pops and drops that are inevitable to build a low cost or free core position.
Green Trading.
Posting and whatnot is a little slow right now so found this on the yahoo.finance board for what it is worth.
Yeah it is 4 1/2 months ago. Do your own DD, this is just someone's opinion.
"8 February, 2024
Receiving their part 145 maintenance and repair station certification from the FAA is a significant step for JOBY and of course another first in the evtol industry. It shows how buttoned up their launch and operational plans are otherwise the FAA would not have granted this. If you read the news release JOBY has a major recruitment and training program in development for not only pilots but maintenance personnel too. JOBY is first and leads on absolutely everything. I've said it before and I'll say it again the next 18 to 24 months will see JOBY continually demonstrate how far ahead they are from any potential competitors. Nobody is ever going catch up let alone match them on any measure."
Agree!
My thoughts . Even though it will start moving at a slow pace.
The demand of use will out wait such. I do believe roll call is happening.
JMHO
Long term I am bullish. Short term is all about the chart when to buy. The lower price goes the more the odds grow for a bounce, however if the market tests further down then JOBY will likely settle lower with it. When news flows again price will most likely move to a better balance between TA and FA.
It is fine to be bearish, opinions and buying plus selling creates market liquidity. Even so, it means little to nothing without some accompanying substance. The bearish opinion could be for TA reasons or FA reasons or both. Opposing opinions are most useful when there are details to investigate. Uninformed decisions have the highest risk.
Stocks, especially startups, are a buyer beware arena so one should do their own DD and confirmations of information, opinions etc. There are no guarantees or absolute prognostications as there are too many variables.
All IMO only.
Absolutely, confirmation of any trend change needs to happen. This particular down trend continues since Dec 2023 despite a couple 1dollar up moves.
Still can't hold price above down angled 100sma on a Daily. It will remain in down trend until it doesn't and sustained volume buying changes things. Will be watching 4.67 and 4.50 for potential bottom action. If not, then some of the weekly targets come into play even lower.
Here is the Daily look for those with stockcharts account..
https://stockcharts.com/h-sc/ui?s=JOBY&p=D&yr=0&mn=10&dy=0&id=p66529845915
Sounds great.
But with out a secure or definite foundation there is no bottom as of yet. / GL
JOBY closed yesterdays gap down opening. If market direction supports then there is potential for yesterdays low to be a bottom.

Yes, I am bullish for the future. That said, anyone buying/investing should consult weekly and daily charts to determine buy targets that fit their trading/investing style. Also doing sufficient DD to determine risk and company viability is prudent/advisable.
My posts are to provide information not to encourage buying or selling and should be taken in that light as information only. Trade at your own risk and validate all information.
Don't know who has seen this utube video and who hasn't so posting it now.
Hey thanks! I sure will, this is the future!
Motor comparison.
Best comparative analysis I've seen to date of two leading eVTOLs - Archer vs Joby Aviation: who has the better motor?
Zhiheng LouI offers great insight over 20 minutes. At the core of his comparison - Archer is gear driven motor, while Joby Aviation is direct drive (after switching from gear box model years ago).
Power density requirements meet design objectives. Low rotor aerodynamic noise is achieved via each OEMs' power, torque and rotor dimensions, as well as number of motors. The fatigue cycle of the parts that comprise the motor will drive required FAA maintenance schedules. Thus, out-of-service non-revenue producing downtime vs efficiency of safe operational load/distance/duration driven by weight considerations. The variables are endless and the free market awaits to choose a solution.

And, Federal Aviation Administration will soon be providing final requirements for pilots to be rated specifically for each of these eVTOL (for instance each will have different flight envelopes to avoid vortex ring states).
Remind all - my degree is in economics... I'll leave understanding of this engineering to the PhDs and Masters. So, welcome any comments on what I have put on the table from the advanced air mobility ("aam") ecosystem. Just deleted my original post so as to "repost" the creator's original work...

Archer vs Joby: who has the better motor?
This video examines the electric motors by Archer and Joby, the two frontrunners in the eVTOL industry. We start with a high-level analysis of their relative benefits and drawbacks, scoping our analysis to their torque and power densities. The intention is to open a broader and more detailed technical discussion. Finally, we conclude with an answer to the question: who has the better motor?

Welcome.
Feel free to add any pertinent info you come across.
Had to jump in, been watching too long.
Agree on that. I watch both other companies as well.
Waiting to see if the recent 4.50 low on the daily holds. If not, then will check out the weekly chart more closely to start zeroing in on add points.
Hey old friend. Together in another one it looks like. Hope life has treated you well.
Green Trades.
The bottom of this descending channel seems about $4ish?
I’ll start adding there.
While only 2 vehicles have been produced, the Dubai contract is very intriguing.
Long term JOBY is still ahead of Archer or EVTL, IMO.
Long term bullish I still am.

All garbage! And pump at that.
After yesterday announcement. Be careful!
They are known to start selling some of there holdings after trading hours.. / GL
I’m into this like Tesla!!! Exciting things coming …..
Global warming is staying where it’s always been, fantasyland. Grow up snowflake.
Where does it say it's rare? Maybe you missed the part about the Flood. LoL Still thousands stranded in the airports. Runways flooded. Vertical fight take offs are in need now. They have the money to speed up production. It will happen again !
I don't think Global warming is going away.
How often does that happen? According to the Bible, rare.
JMHO... Don't want to wait much longer. Should be news around the corner. / GL
