Oh yeah, I was intimately familiar with Cemjq...Kirkland, Rogerson. I got in around 5 cents and out at $1.35-1.40. Rogerson played dirty when he stated that the commons would be rewarded (remember that PR). Many folks bought more when that was announced and I was ready to get back in myself (had already cashed out), but it gapped up on me that morning. As a rule, I don't chase gappers and by the time it came back down to fill the gap, i knew something foul was afoot.

I didn't have IHUB membership back then, but I did follow the board on occasion. At nay rate even with membership, I'm not a prolific poster...you've coaxed me out of my shell today...lol

Yep, I played that one after Cemjq, but before they announced it was going private (had a nice double on it). After they announced they were going private it tanked from what 4 (can't recollect exactly). I played it for a double (believe it ran to over 6 and it was all downhill from there). There were trading opportunities after the initial tank, but anyone who held on to those 4's never recouped their losses.

Me neither..been in many bk plays, but this was the fastest wrap up I've seen yet. Unfortunately the glory days of 2008-2009 are gone...you earn your keep in these bk plays now.

it does not go private unless a judge says it does -there are objections and fights before hand -this was the quickest BK I have ever seen -and plenty of money has been made on BK stocks even when they announce from the start the commons are toast

You've also played bk plays before, so you damn well know what it means when a company goes private. At least, you however, admitted in one of you're recent posts that the commons were indeed canceled.The MOD, however, gave no indication whatsoever that the commons were kaput...he inferred otherwise.

I traded it and got taken out at 28's today (was in at 12 twice...when the Q was added and again recently). I got out of the other 12's around 4-5. I barely paid attention to this play and only knew I got taken out today when G2 replied to my post.

At any rate,I just don't want to see some newbies get left holding a bag here. Once they announced this was going private, it was game over for the commons.

BS on you -the filings were confusing and even the replies from their lawyers were not clear- the amendment did project to the commons staying intact -regardless everyone here that I know came into this for a trade only - you damn sure put out a lot of clarity now didn't you -you never said a thing -wow what a guy you are -lmao

The company is going private, so stock holders equity doesn't mean squat. Surely you knew this already! You're the MOD of the board and one would think that it's incumbent on you to at least inform people what's really going on here. I don't want to see some newbie wonder on to the board and lose their hard earned cash (reading your posts, they might be inclined to hold this).

This is going private, so there is nothing here for common shareholders. I made money in this play, but please don't try to misrepresent as anything other than a trade. I made money on this when it first got the Q and played recent bounces, but i sure as heck ain't sticking around for the final curtain.
