I hear yah. I added a little more at a buck on Friday. It's quite possible that this could see some major Federal Funding, as long as it's applied for(?) I sure hope this advisory board moves quick on advising. Really, there is absolutely no reason that this shouldn't receive major funding if everything that the company says it can do is true. Green is where the green should be!
AAARGHHHH!
My money is tied up with pending transactions. What a time to be missing out on the ability to load up on ITRO. $1.01 is a bargain
Watching paint dry is so tedious, better to find something else to do and come back when it has had time to dry.
I feel the same way about ITRO.
The needful work is ongoing but until it is done there isn't much to say. The last 8-K was from February 23d and it is informative. 8-K
Since then they have set up a working team headed up by a distinguished Mining Hall of Fame gentleman to find ways to make RockKleen known in the mining community.
The paint is drying
They are definitely a community player and we are greatful for the efforts for the beautiful Truckee area ITRO $$$
Perfect zone for adding some shares. ITRO $$$. Money in the bank
$ITRO Itronics Reports Presence of Potentially Recoverable Iron, Copper, Silver, Cobalt, Other Strategic and Battery Metals, and Nutrient Materials, in Mine Tailings https://finance.yahoo.com/news/itronics-reports-presence-potentially-recoverable-103000583.html
That would be in-line with what they have done in the past. Itronics is credit'ed for cleaning up the Truckee River, and Pyrmid Lake in the Reno Sparks area. The two cities where going to be find hundreds of million of dollars for dumping Photo liquid in the sewer. Itronics came up with a plan to process that stuff with zero waist. And the rest is history.
Picked up more today. When we get a federal contract for super fund cleanup this will be a $10 stock ITRO $$$
Exactly. They are not in rush to divulge extremely valuable intellectual property by rushing to pump the stock. They have managed to finance operations without the need for pumping and diluting and that is just swell with me!! Super low float is the result. They have been diligent in giving us plenty of opportunity to see the potential taking shape here as well and those that recognize it and have invested accordingly, will be amply rewarded. It all comes together this year IMO. When it does we all go for an awesome ride!!!
ITRO $$$$$
They definitely are not complacent. Look at like Microsoft vs Apple. Microsoft was first to the market but Apple ignored all the noise and did it right. Im very pleased with the performance of the stock and the company. I am still adding at these levels. You wait and see. This will be unstoppable when it all comes out in the open. IMO anything under $2 a share is a gift as current assets and book value alone exceed the current market cap.
ITRO $$$$
I understand your frustration, but don't forget the Advisory board they just formed. Advisory board
There are things that go on behind the scenes, that are not PR'd until the news is firm. Primary focus of the Advisory Board will be to promote and accelerate the operational development of the Rock Kleen Process and the Itronics Cleantech Materials Campus (ICMC).
I am pretty confident that the gears are turning.
Perhaps? But they have had ample opportunity to prove and market their technologies over the years (emphasis on MARKET). They just seem complacent and lack any real drive. No worries at all. We'll just let the competition take all the credit, all the business and all the market share while we are happy as can be just doing the same old same old routine. What is it going to take to fire this up? Management seem to be on the 500 year plan here. Go ahead ITRO, prove me wrong and put this puppy into high gear already!
Itronics neighbor to the south, Comstock mining which permitted Itronics to test and develop what has become RockKleen also permitted Cycladex to test out and prove its clean leaching technology. Cycladex just announced a partnership with Cyanco the premier cyanide provider to the mine companies. This gives Cycladex a broad client list to present their tech.
Perhaps Itronics is working on a similar partnership?
Found the rest on ameritrade
Anyone have the full report?
$ITRO Itronics Says It Has Revolutionary Technology To Clean Up Nation's Abandoned Mines https://www.wsj.com/articles/itronics-says-it-has-revolutionary-technology-to-clean-up-nation-s-abandoned-mines-01618310461?reflink=desktopwebshare_twitter
Now they just need to work together. Im thinking green projects. The million of tons of aggregate just in Nevada alone, that's just laying around, that can be used for all kind of projects.
Itro and Lode better get on it. . . both companies have added people for taking the respective companies forward with this budget.
That caught my eye too. There going to need a whole lot of aggregate for that massive infrastructure bill their working on. ITRO, and LODE better get on it.
The budget has 16 billion set aside for orphaned mines and oil wells
Thank You! That was a good lesson.
I'm no expert, but all stocks are shorted, including ITRO. Looking at the site you'll see how many shares are available to borrow, at what rate, on those specific dates. One could open an account with Interactive Brokers, and borrow shares of ITRO to short. It's a great way to make a few bucks, and keep the PPS in a trading rage for accumulation. I've shorted stock, but never pink sheet stocks. If I had the time, I'd follow the short availability in relation to hits in price. I assume some of our price retraction is normal selling, and some shorting. It's not unusual for someone with a lot of shares to lend them out via these brokerages for shorting and make a few bucks in interest with no risk. When the stock becomes marginable, anyone who buys them with margin, automatically agree to lend them out interest free. Again, no expert, but it will be fascinating to watch all of this unfold.
What am I looking at?
I like this from the PR: "Itronics is on the verge of major growth".
This can be a good resource for understanding some of the fluctuations. https://www.shortablestocks.com/?itro
Itronics forms an advisory board:
Advisory board
Leonard Harris;
Mining Hall Of Fame
Today some one dumped. Two trades, one for 24000, and 12000 back to back at about 10:am @ $1.26 That will do it with low volume. Other wise may have been a normal day.I try to pick up what I can when that happens. Opened higher, looked good, then that happen'ed. Tomorrow a new day
I don't know what the new low is going to be. Used to be that I could set aside money for buying ITRO and pull the trigger near fifty cents. Then I settled for sixty five cents. Now I don't know where to buy in but it seems like the new low is going to be somewhat under a $1.20.
Still setting money aside for itro and watching until I get a sense of the timing. $1.40 seems reasonable. The bargain basement prices I was used to are gone forever and the reality is that the current prices are bargains. Anything under two bucks is going to be the good old days after the mining companies see RockKleen proved out and make contracts or licensing agreements with Itronics.
Thanks for that. I was thinking some one driving the shares down at the end of the day to try to buy a lot more the next morning. So far 32 trades volume close to 50K. Some one is dumping. Time to buy for me.
I really don't know why the market moves when there is no news.
Taxes or bills make some folks sell who would have preferred to hold a little longer.
I know that some orders I have placed were partially filled over the course of the day, so I think some of the little fills were part of a larger order.
Day traders closing out at the end of the week sounds like a reasonable explanation to me.
But I don't know why market sentiment does what it does.
Saildone or anyone else that might know. (Question)Trading volume was dead all afternoon today. 3 minutes before the close 10 plus trade all at bid came through. From 25 shares to 900 shares.Almost three thousand shares trade right before the close. ITRO went from 1.80 up 7 to 155 down 18 That not normal trading. WTH maybe day traders closing out at the end of the day ??????????????
I've mostly made buys in the half dollar to sixty five cent range, holding off on buying more when it was over sixty five cents. But like you I don't believe it is ever going below a dollar. And also like you, I have confidence that even with the current price range it is a true bargain. So when I have set aside enough to buy at least a thousand shares; I'll make the best price at that time and buy some more.
Agreed. Such an incredibly small float It moves like greased lightning. I wish I had of bought more when it was under a buck. I am going to sell a few other holdings I have and move it here. I just don’t see it going below a buck Never wanted a stock I own to go down but a dip would be welcome. Go ITRO $$$
It seems like only yesterday that I was planning my early retirement. Oh well.
Volume better than a quarter of a millions shares and a share price over $2.00 is really encouraging.
Dr. Whitney is first and foremost a scientist with an engineering orientation, and an inventors mindset. He does the thinking and rethinking in advance of making any moves.
Itronics has a bright future.
Itronics is starting to get noticed for its efforts. I have also been a shareholder since 2001 and you are correct in your assessment of Dr Whitney. He has never touted achievements for short term gains and his mission is true north. There will be no looking over the shoulder to rethink a game plan for ITRO. He thought of everything and built this from the inside out. It is a superior product and will be recognized as such going forward. ITRO $$$
Volume up today. Buyer's coming in at the end of the day. Another turning point would be to get their financial audit up to date. A recent call I made to the company I expressed the concerns out there about that. They said, they where aware of that, and are working on it. Be nice to see a time line for that to happen. That would go a long way to fulfill their full potential.
Thanks Henkel! A lot of great info. I really, really do hope that Declan's involvement will be the turning point and catalyst for ITRO to fulfill their full potential.
Lode looks like it has much better management.
Well, I have been waiting for it to become something since it was a penny stock under the moniker of Goldspring mining (GSPG). In that time it has undergone two reverse splits, one for 200 to 1 and a later split for 20 to 1.
So which company is the better management could be debated, even though in recent years the Comstock management have got their feet under them and have real traction going forward.
Itronics has taken the slow and steady approach, always having a positive revenue and developing their projects without serious share dilution. The most recent PR about RockKleen demonstrates their careful approach. Deri tends to post the articles as they come out.
It would be nice to know who bought ITRO on that last pop. I assume they must have heard something.
Total daily volume is less than 7,000 so that last pop couldn't have been a huge buy from some major player. It was probably a bread and butter investor like me. Grabbing some shares while the getting is good. there are a few of us posting on this board who keep adding share as we are able to put something aside but are not major investors.
Well no wonder you know so much about these businesses. Thanks for the analysis. At minimum, Lode looks like it has much better management. It would be nice to know who bought ITRO on that last pop. I assume they must have heard something.
Invest in only one?!?
Cycladex is still a privately held company so investing in it on the open market is a nonstarter. But Comstock has slightly more than a 9% share in it, so investing in Comstock will get you a share in Cycladex.
For the same reason, (having a share in the company) investing in Comstock will get you involved in Tonogold Resources Inc. which has been heavily investing in the northern Comstock, paying millions into Comstock's coffers and more millions conducting a drill program. Expect a 43-101 sometime in the next couple of quarters followed by rapid growth in the share price.
Again, Comstock is heavily involved with Oro Gold in Mercury Clean Up (MCU) a joint venture which is already active both on the Comstock, where they are conducting R & D, and are operating in the Davao region of the Philippines where they are sucessfully cleaning up the Mercury pollution.
And again Comstock has a passive investment in Sierra Springs Opportunity Fund Inc. and its 100% owned qualified opportunity zone business named Sierra Springs Enterprises Inc. which is positioned to grow and take advantage of the expanding real estate market resulting from the opening of the Tahoe Reno Industrial Center (TRIC) and the completion of a superhighway connecting I-80 and US 50.
Most recently they have become the majority partner in LINICO Corporation (“LiNiCo”), a lithium-ion battery (“LIB”) recycling company which produces raw materials for making electric car batteries. And is positioned to become a supplier to TESLA auto.
So for those reasons and a few more I am expecting CMI to grow into a major player soon.
It was through Comstock that I learned of Itronics and was excited enough by what I learned to invest here. So I am not downplaying Itronics potential but you asked for me to select just one and I think Comstock is the closest to becoming a major industrial company. That doesn't lessen my enthusiasm for Itronics which also has a lot of potential and doesn't have a large number of issued and outstanding shares.
Yes, I wonder if Declan is still with them as we haven't heard any more about his involvement since?
If you could invest in only one of the three, would it be Itronics? Which one has the most potential over the next 5 years?
Three companies to keep an eye on:
Itronics with a method of cleaning cyanide tainted leach pads.
Comstock's Mercury Clean Up of old mercury tainted leach pads.
Cycledex with a method of leaching fresh ore with no polluting of the leach pads.
All three represent the future of green technology in mining.
Last November Itronics brought on board a man named Declan Costelloe to develop and manage strategic relationships in the financial community to improve Itronics ability to obtain financing and expand financial market exposure. Expect to hear more in the coming quarters.
The claim is RockKleen can be used on Tailing, and virgin ore. My thinking is (virgin ore leaching)would be a bolt on to the first leaching process. {The last PR was a little confusing}.I am thinking. Virgin ore, RockKeen first, then cyanide next, then RockKleen rinse to neutralize the cyanide, and and recover more metals and minerals leaving the aggregate clean and ready to sale. (Where-as Tailing) would just be leach with RockKleen to recover remaining metal, and minerals. leaving the aggregate clean and ready for sale. With a possibility of a recovery rate of both, of up to 90%. Which is higher then what they normally achieve. Just my opinion.
Thank you for the information, saildone. I know they're smart folks down there, so I hope the technology/process is protected or in the process of being protected.
The story is exciting. Now we see if they can pull it off. If they can persuade a lender to provide significant financing, then we know someone likes the business plan.
Best to all shareholders!
Little pop at the end of the day. Little more volume. Volume starting to up.
