Nice day today. Up 5.66% at this time, klast sale $7.19. I hope the gains will stick and continue to rise.
Looking better the past few days. Today is the first day of Materialise World. This company has been in business for 25 years.
Sry this was a year old but dated April 22nd, my mistake
Maybe time to add. Mtls is the spider in software 3d. Easier to adjust then hardware. When investors start to understand this will be beyond buying opp for private shareholders.
6.43! What a shame. Still holding 1300 shares, but unfortunately, deep in the red.
The unknown but potentially good /excellent news is that they may have achieved this certification because of Sigma's technology. Sigma knows standards. They like messing around in Europe. Sigma could well have involvement here.
The only caveat is the plastics aspect. Dave said they can quality inspect plastics and possibly ceramics. Maybe this is a proving ground.
Only The Shadow Knows.
What if sglb understands they are to small to make a difference? Remember mm are professors.: they understand the more you know, the less you understand. If you can't beat them....join them.
I see they linked up with Keystone, but regarding today's news I was curious on how you think it bodes for SGLB. It seems Sigma is trying to create the assurance software and printer implementation MTLS already has. But then again why would they have a collaborative agreement? I guess I will just keep throwing more in both buckets. This is way undervalued.

Sorry. I meant adding to the board of mtls ihub. There is not a lot going on and i think people don't understand the prospect. Mtls has 1000 employees prob paid in shares and don't understand how the stock market works. It takes a few
Shares to bring this down. There is hardly new interest, only people already involved in sglb. Mtls should create more attention. Again belgiums. If this was a us co...trippled by now.
Maybe we should add our knowledge at the mtls page. Sglb and mtls should go together.
I read this as the lack of need for Sigma as they are able to meet the assurance standards. What am I missing here?
this is excellent news. In addition to this (hopefully!) rock bottom share price, and that the 3d sector share prices have been improving recently without us, it looks like a good time to add. I'm going to add to mine today. agreed with Steve, they need a better exposure and mm or local association. I hope to heaven that it is $SGLB involved in getting this certification. Vivek Dave said that Sigma's technology was applicable to plastic, and they certainly have the expertise in knowledge of standards.
I have to look up when that Materialise world event is being held, if I haven't missed it. If still upcoming or current, I will probably add more generously.

Problem mtls is: it is belgie. No guts or identity. Not french, not dutch. Just in between. This is gold and they are to modest to express what they 've got. Time to get some outdoor mm. Us background would be nice...
Interesting point, please elaborate...
Mtls will bring ikea to your home. Software will become like money in the near future.
I don't see MTLS going much deeper.. I believe Q1 results will bring this above $8 easy and will end the year closer to $11-13 range if not higher, great value down here
If you want to know where mtls is going? Sign up to sglb on ihub. And you will find all the info and serious investors you can find. No pump dump, daytrading, short people please. We are trying to learn from eachother. Longs...
I haven't seen you on the sglb board.
Added to my MTLS because my SGLB has grown so much
Sglb is rising...won't take long before mtls will.
just hanging in there
This co has 1000 employees. This is not a hype...
Would you please email me, sjanson at msn.com. I have an accounting question.
Adding...adding...adding...
Love this damn company.....

World conference upcoming in April
http://worldconference.materialise.com/
Ok, this looks like a movement day. Plot the SMA for 50,100,200 and today there have been crossings and a short while ago, unfortunately, divergences. At this particular moment in time, we are trading above 100, and 200, today, x 15 second movements. (moving around a lot though here) I will be happy if the suggestions of the people on the Sigma $SGLB board come to fruit because several there refer to this as a potential $GE AM link.
I shake myself everytime I see the price. Don't fret though, just by this board alone you can tell the lack of awareness which is a good thing for now if you don't have all you need. I think their presence in the medical community will grow exponentially year over year and you will be greatly rewarded!
But damn did I buy too soon... I thought 7.50 was a bargain...

I'd like to give this stock a rag doll wakeup shake but nowadays that would prob be polit. incorrect. It's this whole damn 3-D group, all the babies are being thrown out w/ the bathwater -- shakedown. But I still hold.
It is easier to switch from paper to digital. Then understanding the next way of living.
What do you mean, you're taking the risk of declining?
Software & hardware combination. I am taking the risk of declining. Long term vision....
$MTLS thank you for a better weekend then I'd thought. Im holding my shares.
See Sigma Labs $SGLB board http://investorshub.advfn.com/boards/read_msg.aspx?message_id=111660203
for recent $MTLS discussion. 3/13/15 or 3/12/14
my guess for the price you want...4 months. People still need time wrapping their head around what's happening. Renishaw Build Processor just sounds right. I wish I could afford more.
I just watched a 15 min video of Bruce Greenwald talking about the death of manufacturing. You are in the right place at the right time. I like what theyre doing with the insoles and anatomy parts. I am by far the brokest holder lol. This is a great price.
GL
So when this will take off?
maybe the patient has a pulse here. $7.76, analysts reiterating buys and P/t = 12.00/15.00
Missed by .01, but rev. increase. Hoped for better, but this is the deal.

Best wishes to every long here. I'm staying invested because I think this has all the aspects of a hub. Great management, closely held. Still in a downtrend though, as is all 3-D/AM. When Europe starts to recover their employment, it will be in these new industries, I think. Northern Europe looks set to dominate the field.
In like Flynn.
The reason i am keeping my shares for the long run...: the next step in production will not be a complete product like f.e. windows. It will be a two way buying. Software and manufacturing. What microsoft did as a combining developer. Does not count for 3d. The issues to resolve are to complex to grab it into one solution. Therefore a split in software and hardware is needed. This will lead to a package solution and standard in the future. Say, 10 years from now. Meanwhile...mtls needs your support....to get to this point. Could go fast, if mm would focuss on psychological importancy of developement.
LOL!!! About that i'm telling you accting and finance.
I was a double major in accounting and finance, which helps a ton on the fundamental side, but I use more technical analysis when deciding to add more shares. I am just getting my feet wet in the market though and nothing has prepared me for the shorting and PR manipulation of the pennies.
I am learning as fast as I can though and read everything about my stocks (so thanks for the link). Its the addicting thrill I have been waiting for my whole life. The goal is to rollover CTIX/MTLS profits into a margin account and day trade my way out of the rat race before 35.
I worked in quality inspections for a company in college that produced and QA'd parts for GE, General Dynamics, and who knows else. US Gov't QA is the most time consuming and meticulous. Sigma can fill a lucrative niche going forward.
MTLS has the inventor of 3D printing and medical patents to theoretically monopolize their niche.
Maybe I am overzealous but it just seems like a sure thing I can't miss out on...
Good Luck along the way...
