ALSO - hi, does anyone have an idea what the up to date share structure is here or what the last known share structure is?
I did try and so some digging but I'm not very well at the moment. I was hoping it'd be on the company website, but it's not there either.
Many thanks
I'd recommend EDGAR. Great place to get official DD. All you have to do then is connect the dots LA la LA la.
Private companies usually don't file official filings for registration of common shares. Just an FYI.
Not as private as you think. Dark yes. Private No!
I think it's important to note that ALSO has not gone private. the company is still bucolically traded but no longer files any reports with the SEC. Being a private company vs. a no longer reporting company is a huge difference.
I only Hold a small amount nothing that would effect me. I just can seem to let them go.
I must say I do admire your research persistence with ALSO.
Myself . . . I generally do a very rough analysis of a company and its abilities to capitalize on it tech innovation potential.
If, as you messaged, ALSO is going now the private company option . . . that seems to denote that ALSO only was using the stock market to finance its efforts and retail stock holders probably were just 'tech dreamers' that could not short the stock?
I will, however; sell my small speculative buy of ALSO, and keep my VUZI (as it is much further along product revenue path and has numerous patents in the field as well as the possibility of high attraction to a larger player in the VR field).
ALSO has taken some years to perfect AND APPLY it SW approach to VR
and I wonder now if what they have tried to do is getting 'old-hat', so to speak. Any decent SW gaming company could quite quickly do the same thing in-house or hire it out to indies (to avoid legality issues). ALSO could have the funds to fight patent infringement claims?

They filed to go private.
ALSO is so quiet as they are preparing to do what?!!
Maybe . . . get going by 2018?
Or, go private?
They have less than 3 years to get their tech on market and in users hands, or I am suspecting they will have no market place position to pursue.

The two companies you mentioned invested in ALSO, probably would preclude anyone else making a bid for them. Be that as it may.
Puzzling (at least to me) is whether ALSO SW will work in device VR-mode on cell phones and tablets. This would be strict VR-mode, without AR-mode say by glasses use with the devices. If it does, there are a lot of VG companies that would like to have such SW VR for their VGs. ALSO seemingly is in silent running mode, if it has not sunk?
How about some current news from company?
Oh dear . . . rebellious stock investors . . . wanting news.
My bad.
I HOLD some share of this also. I am of the mind set that it might be bought out at some point in the future also. I think its private at this time and we will have low volume and not much price action on the OTC for there will be no news or sec filings. There is also a chance this ends up in a class action law suite and share holders that held will have there shares bought or transferred into whatever company is control this technology. I am not sure what will happen but I am will to hold my small amount of shares. There a great company with investors Like Lumus and sun corporation invested into them. I will wait and see what happens.
Infinity Augmented Reality (OTC:ALSO) had its price target decreased by Barclays from $35.00 to $33.00 in a report released on Friday, StockTargetPrices.com reports. Barclays currently has an overweight rating on the stock.
Wonder what Sun would pay to buyout the minority? How does Barclays come to a $30+figure?
Infinity Augmented Reality Inc. (OTC:ALSO)
Infinity Augmented Reality Inc. (OTC:ALSO) is a company based in New York that designs and develops augmented reality (AR) software. Its AR software allows its users to experience the real world through digital images overlay, video, and sound as it’s accessed from a smartphone screen, tablet, or pair of digital glasses.
The company beat out the leading augmented reality firms in Europe to win the prestigious 2015 Frost & Sullivan Technology Innovation Award last January. The Frost & Sullivan research group was particularly impressed by ALSO’s Infinity AR engine, which allows 2D camera sensors to detect 3D environments and “has the capability to deliver a richer AR experience for users,” according to Swapnadeep Nayak, an analyst at Frost & Sullivan Industry. I’m impressed, too.
Meanwhile, the massive accolades for ALSO’s AR system has raised some hopes that it might be headed towards a buyout that’s wildly profitable for shareholders, following the example of the virtual reality company Oculus’ $2 billion purchase by Facebook. The company’s leadership is clearly keeping an eye on this possibility, with COO Motti Kushnir remarking on the week of Oculus’ buy-out, “I am excited to see what has been a very active week in the Augmented Reality technology sector with Facebook’s acquisition of Oculus VR… I believe that Infinity AR is developing one of the most exciting technology platforms for the future.”
VUZI and it's hardware competitors. I prefer the software everytime. Which Infinity has no competitor. Without their software Augmented Reality doesn't happen. Reason Sun Corporation took up 58% majority.
Social with stupid. Come on now.
I am very happy you are so intelligent, and socially adept.
I am still to hold my small also position, as a bet on buy-out to put them out-of-business. I am sorry if you lose for holding from higher IPO price.
Keep up the positive only PR promo of ALSO tactic of falling so far now, from IPO price. I enjoy your comments, you are super investor?
I will continue to watch next years for stellar stock price and revenues to show forth.
Daily stock price and volume speaks much wisdom on ALSO future, without buy-out or BK. I am not saying company founders are not innovative or high IQ, just where is 'the beef'? Maybe their brothers Goldman will help them?
I suspect you are holding for ALSO to find track-to success, however to be careful of third rail.
I am glad you show forth my apparent ignorance, do have a nice day re-listing PRs.
Please to tell forum, about big $$s ALSO have for 2020+ plans?
I will post no more now, to spare you from having to converse with ignorant posters.
Meanwhile VUZI and its big $$s competitors glide ahead in VR-AR, what so of ALSO? <---sound of wind hearing itself
It's not the first time. I have only so much patience for stupidity.
Lmao not even gonna waste my time. It's apparent you have done zero Due diligence by the statement you've just made. Ihub needs to give an IQ test before they allow dumb funks to post to their boards.
Potential problems: no $$s for sales development or production of
product, apparently no one in home base country supports product,
ALSO faces 'not invented by us' resistance to cheaper means to achieve VR-AR (even Asian countries show no interest).
ALSO needs to partner with say Video Game companies like GLUU, however even they must look to use Big Boys Tech.
Someone like TAPM (free ware game co.) or even MGT might be those who would foster production and useage, for their low-end gamers.
In case of MGT, they might be interested in Bit Coin and AV applications?
Not able to enact Reverse Spilt now, that number of outstanding retail share holders is so inactive towards ALSO?
Sad that such
an inexpensive method of VR cannot be utilized.
Could someone like Black Berry just throw ALSO tech on to their cell phones, for world's free ware users?
If world economies keep going into death spiral, maybe high-priced VR_AR tech, will find no buyers market, and ALSO gets green-lighted.
Infinity Augmented Reality (OTC: ALSO) Chief Executive Enon Landenberg thinks that Google (NASDAQ: GOOG) will rule the AR market when it is released next year.
"I'm quite sure Google Glass will have most of the market because it's Google," Landenberg told Benzinga. "On the other hand, Meta Glasses is the most advanced technology because it's a dual-screen and more than that it's a sequel screen."
Meta is one of many augmented reality projects that is attempting to revolutionize the way its users interact with real environments.
"If you have Google Glass, you see the information on the top of your head and not in front of you," said Landenberg, whose company is developing an AR platform for a multitude of smart devices (glasses, TVs, smartphones, etc.). "On Meta Glasses you see the information in front of you, so you actually have another visual layer.
"Today, most of the companies working on augmented reality only think of the visual layer. We are thinking of it in a wider way. If you are developing, you're actually adding a new layer to your day-to-day reality, and it can be another visual one, it can be a sound -- it can be anything that is there that wasn't there before."
Related: Why Google Wants To Plant a Microchip In Your Head
While Landenberg thinks that Google will reign supreme initially, he is confident that Meta's technology (or something like it) will grow rapidly.
"I'm quite sure that technology similar to what Meta Glasses [have] is going to be the technology that will be most common in the next few years," he said.
New Dimensions Of Augmented Reality
Infinity AR hopes that its platform will serve all consumers, regardless of which smart device they choose to use.
For example, when a user is driving to a meeting, he or she may not care about the meeting's actual location. The closest parking spot may be far more relevant. Infinity AR can guide the user to the nearest spot, saving valuable time in the arduous search for parking.
In a demo video, the company shows that this kind of info could be delivered through a user's AR glasses while he or she is driving.
However, at least one woman has already received a ticket for driving while wearing Google Glass. There are no laws to prevent her from doing it again, but that could change in the near future.
Related: Can Google Sell Expensive, High-Tech Glasses Without A Store Presence?
At home, Infinity AR will deliver an on-screen (TV pop-up) message to warn the user that he forgot to get gas. To compensate, Infinity AR's platform will automatically re-adjust the user's smartphone alarm clock and inform him that he will be awakened 15 minutes early.
Infinity AR could also help entrepreneurs.
When a startup exec meets with investors, Infinity AR can use Google Glass to deliver key information about each investor he approaches. Facebook, Twitter and other social media data will be presented, allowing the entrepreneur to make an introduction with a relevant icebreaker that's based on the investor's social media posts.
Better still, tone detection will allow the user to know if investors are being honest.
"When [an investor] tells you, 'That's really interesting, I will call you tomorrow,' by tone detection we will tell you if he's serious or [not]," said Landenberg.
Infinity AR, a startup based in Tel Aviv, Israel will soon launch an augmented reality app which will fulfill the science fiction vision of AR. Through augmented reality, you will be able to view virtual information overlaid on what you are seeing in the real world. The app which is named as Brain, will be launched for Google Glass, Microsoft Sync in cars, devices having Windows, iOS and Android platforms and Meta’s 3D AR glasses. The best augmented vision will be available through these 3D glasses as your entire field of vision will be merged with the information. This will not happen for Google Glass as you will be able to see the information only on a small screen, above your steady line of sight.
Brain will be linked back to the servers of Infinity AR which will handle all the computing. This will enable the app to provide various services to its users. The app will be free of cost as the company plans to generate revenue by providing ads to the users which will be relevant to their interests. According to the CEO of Infinity AR, Elon Landerberg, the company is trying to build a platform which will use AR in the front end, i.e. devices which the users have and for back end; artificial intelligence technology will be used. The servers constitute the back end.

The startup has designed a product that lets you see 3D holograms as you go about your day
Israel-Flag-Small Japan-Flag-Small Simona WeinglassApr 08, 2015
Imagine walking down the street when a character from your favorite novel appears before your eyes. It’s Mr. Darcy, and he’s all sturm und drang and a hundred times more interesting than the ordinary people you meet on a daily basis. Would such a “virtual encounter” be a good or bad thing?
Thanks to companies like Infinity Augmented Reality Inc., which just raised $5 million in Series B funding, this kind of augmented reality experience will soon be a reality, so to speak.
InfinityAR allows people to interact with augmented content in their physical surroundings. All you need is a device with two cameras and InfinityAR’s technology will map the 3D environment and project 3D holograms as if they were a part of the real world. So you could walk along and interact with a dinosaur. You could see flowers blooming on a dreary winter’s day. Classrooms could use it to visualize 3D objects, soldiers to simulate warfare. And lonely people could potentially augment themselves some virtual companions.
To top it off, the content can be controlled using natural hand movements.
Cracking the Japanese market
The funds will be invested by Japan’s SUN Corporation, a prominent player in the Japanese gaming and mobile market, a New Zealand private investment fund called Singulariteam Fund II, and U.S.-based fund Platinum Partners Value Arbitrage Fund L.P.
The round contemplates a company pre-money valuation of $6 million, and will be directed towards further developing InfinityAR’s product and expanding into the Japanese market. SUN Corporation is a major player in the Pachinko industry, a form of gaming extremely popular in Japan.
“We are very excited about this financing round,” said Motti Kushnir, InfinityAR’s CEO, in a statement. “This is about so much more than the funds raised – it is about the strategic partnership. For us, SUN Corporation is the perfect gateway into the Japanese market and will help us further establish InfinityAR as a leading developer in the augmented reality space.”
The power of fantasy
1b_final

Kushnir could not be reached for comment, but it’s interesting that InfinityAR has chosen to pursue the Japanese market first. A recent article in the Atlantic Monthly describes Japan as at the forefront of blurring reality with the virtual. There is a word, hikikomori used to describe the half million to one million Japanese citizens who are so addicted to the Internet that they never leave their homes. Japan is also home to otome games, “first person visual novels that simulate romantic relationships.”
Is this healthy?
As the Philosopher’s Mail put it, escapism is not always bad. “Daydreams [are] wishes that one’s life were richer in possibilities than it is. To be more sympathetic to ourselves, almost everyone has daydreams, for our lives are necessarily incomplete and daydreaming is a highly creative and useful response to profound inadequacy and lack.”
Hopefully, 3D holograms will enhance and enchant our daily lives in ways we have yet to imagine. Just as with books, music, television, movies, the Internet, video games and other forms of escapism, it goes without saying that they are best enjoyed in moderation.
PETACH TIKVA, Israel--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Infinity Augmented Reality (www.infinityar.com) Inc. (OTCQB:ALSO), which developed a software-based augmented reality (AR) engine, has received the 2015 Frost & Sullivan Technology Innovation Award. The research group studied the leading AR companies in Europe. InfinityAR has received the highest scores on both technology attributes and future business value criteria.
“InfinityAR implements an innovative approach to sensing the environment, which is a vital requirement for augmented reality experiences”
Tweet this
In today’s world, where AR wearables are gradually becoming a part of everyday life, there is a growing need for uses of AR in everyday tasks. The ability to overlay computer-generated graphics over a real environment (mediated usually by some form of digital goggles or glasses) will most likely find its way to civilian, military and entertainment uses. However, most solutions are either too costly or too energy-consuming to be mass-produced.
InfinityAR’s engine overcomes three major challenges in today’s AR environment: cost, processing power and battery life. The company’s engine uses two simple cameras instead of depth sensors, so the cost drops significantly. The use of passive cameras, rather than active infrared sensors (like many other AR companies do) reduces power consumption by 60 percent. Additionally, the company uses efficient computer vision algorithms that require much less processing power.
“Frost & Sullivan appreciates the fact that InfinityAR has developed the game-changing InfinityAR Engine, which uses two innovative 2D camera sensors to detect 3D environments and has the capability to deliver a richer AR experience for users,” said Frost & Sullivan Industry Analyst Swapnadeep Nayak. “The power of the Infinity AR Engine can be leveraged to integrate augmented reality functionalities into smart products.”
“InfinityAR implements an innovative approach to sensing the environment, which is a vital requirement for augmented reality experiences,” noted Nayak.
Additionally, the company’s technology can recognize the user’s gestures for full and natural interaction with the environment.
Not only does the InfinityAR engine map the environment precisely, it can also recognize reflective and clear surfaces to make sure the augmented reality objects are seamlessly integrated into the environment. “This innovative feature set allows the rendered virtual objects to be seen as if they are part of the real world,” the report reads.
