I am sure there are others that I don't know of.

To qualify to be added to the MIA list in the Ibox, a poster must have abrubtly stopped posting with no trace or knowledge of why they stopped posting.

They should not have posted for at least six months.

Anyone know of any other MIA posters?

I see that he was gone almost two months last summer, and then posted that he took the summer off from Ihub, and then hasn't posted since that day.

I know at least two dozen people on Ihub have my phone number and could check on me if I were to stop posting.

I can't believe no one has his phone number.

Whatever though, if he is missing for six months, remind me and I'll add him to the Ibox.

Thanks, Phil. I did post asking after him on SI and various boards here, but no one seems to know anything. He did change his handle some time ago to mars2 but he hasn't posted under that name since last September. Seems odd that a poster very active for some years both here and on SI, with 170 peoplemarks (grandfathered in as well) and moderating 9 boards here and more on SI (of which two are very active) could just drop from sight and no one seems to know or care. I just don't get it and am concerned. Guess I'll just have to sit tight and see if he turns up. Just seems so odd to me. . .

I have talked to Buck several times on the phone in the last six months or so.

He is taking a break from Ihub but he pops in from time to time.

He was building two giant BBQ grills and between that and his work he didn't have a lot of spare time.

Plus, he donates a lot of his time to his church.

It's about time I call him again though.

This is Rob's wife Robin. I am very sorry to tell you this but Rob passed on this afternoon. He passed away in his easy chair just as he wanted.

I had just gotten done holding him to tell him I loved him when he passed. It was very sudden, but he just went during his sleep and was very calm.

I'm so sorry. He spoke highly of all of you. I tried my very best for him, but he just went.
