best penny play off hurricane Sandy is AQNM....IF management actually figured out it was a public entity that is...
You look at article like this:
http://www.cnn.com/2012/11/04/us/tropical-weather-sandy/index.html?hpt=hp_t2
and realize where the company could 'capitalize'
http://www.aquentium.com/housing.htm
makes you wonder what the hell they are thinking! A simple PR with 'offer for help' and it triples+
Was obviously hoping for more, and it could still come - we'll see.
Devastating impacts that are still going on....
I sold my GNRC as well for a nice profit. Next!
I sold my GNRC for a nice profit.
I grabbed some GNRC too.
GNRC is the play....grabbed some 31.10ss premarket.
Awesome earnings too.
Most of the big hurricane plays from the past are dead in the water (pun intended), like NSMG, WEGI and BUGS. Time to find some new ones with a legitimate tie to Sandy's impacts. HLXH is the best I have found.
Doesn't matter - she had big impacts (obviously).
Hurricane Stocks have not been pumped for yearzzz now
Sandy did not even hit as a Hurricane ...
Here's the stock to play for Hurricane Sandy: HLXH

FLOAT IS ONLY 2.8M SHARES, so any amount of volume will send it up quickly, just as it did not too long ago to over .20:
We were waiting for you.
Evidently these aren't as important as they once were.
Haven't really kept up with them, but thought I'd check in today and see what people buy these days.
Where is everyone?
Wow, no posts here?
Used to love watching these back when some went up over 200%
Yeah, I remember that one. Not too many left now, hence the quiet cane board here.
I bought and held this one for years in my IRA, Abatix announces a reverse split and going private today, so I sold.... Over 160% gains... much better than CD's for IRA, lol... Too bad I didn't have a lot more, but didn't want to tie up a lot of cash in this one...
Too bad... another hurricane stock... off the board...

WTWO TIME TO PUMP AGAIN ITS COMING IN WITH REVENUE FIRST TIME IN 4 YEARS BIG BANK ROLLS JOIN US...
DPDW $1.43 - Deep Down - Deepwater oil service stock could be a nice Hurricane play if the storm goes Mobile or west through the oil patch.
This company repairs deep water oil structures... Would get a big boost.
Hurricane stock Deep Down is profitable these days and could really be a runner...
A lot of info about DPDW in the intro I-box here...

GLTA
thnx for the heads up
only decent looking penny hurricane play these days is AQNM in my books
http://www.aquentium.com/housing.htm
If they choose to play off it and PR is another story, but this would be the first choice these days...other than that, GV is my favorite play for real stocks!
wheres the hurricane plays now? now that the losers at the SEC shut them all down so the small guys like us cant make any money.. got to be some left though that will clean up the mess
jmho
Isaac seems to be growing as a US weather threat:

Hell of a board you have here BOB, thanks for the response.
anyone gonna play the canes this year?
LOL. good one!
Not supposed to be a busy season. Plus, Obama has dropped some fairy dust in the tropics.
shouldn't this board start to come alive from here on out.
nuttin,, most were stinky pinkies to begin with,,
looks like I'll be looking elsewhere for a cane play. have any suggestions while we are on the topic.
pdge isnt even a active company..
two players have been taken out of the cane plays Bugs and Nsmg. PDGE WILL BE MY CHOICE this season. glta
Agreed. I have it on close watch.
PDGE looks very good to me Cargo based on the dd and extremely low share structure. Any buying pressure at all will take out a big part of the small float.
Did you see PDGE Friday.... up 160% or something...
PDGE is an interesting stock that previously went into receivership in 2010 (no BK) and LVI Services picked up most of their assets. There is only about 20 mil in outstanding shares.
http://www.bizjournals.com/pittsburgh/stories/2010/04/19/story3.html
Most of the assets were picked up by LVI Services.
http://www.lviservices.com/
The old PDGE website is still there for some reason.
http://www.flagshippdg.com/
And some of the prior employees of PDGE including the prior CEO started this company which is the same business and has multiple locations.
http://www.prismresponse.com/
And, the current PDGE website shows some of the PDGE services in the top and bottom margins.
http://www.pdge.com/
Here's the link of the investment banker who handled the recievership.
http://compassadvisorypartners.com/
Looks like several interesting possibilities could happen with this stock based on the dd. And, the fact of the extremely low share structure combined with storm season approaching, it appears the current approximate $80K Market Cap at $.004 seems extremely low. Many shell stocks are in the $millions for market cap. It's worth taking a look IMO as we approach storm season.
lol only one problem it's 2012!! lmao!!! ;)
I want to be the first poster on this board for 2011!
See you guys in June.
