Guys, I would highly suggest staying away from all future APS promos and Promos in general. Now a second one of their Picks has been suspended. No doubt they are being heavily watched these days and the risk is large playing any of their picks in the future.

There are many other non promo plays to get into. Look at CBYI, ACYD and TDEY and a few others. Several of them recently saw multi thousand percent gains to include ACYD close to 8000% at yesterdays level from just a few weeks back. Promos are very risky and in todays world more so than ever IMO.

hoggfan, Many times you will see some trades go thru before the market opens and some volume is posted before the opening on a few. Usually that is market makers jostling shares amongst themselves. For all intents they do not trade before the Open although I have heard that thru "Suretrader" that it can be done as is shorting penny stocks with that trading venue. They are based out of the US thus they have less strict rules than many venues here in the US have. If there are shares being bought in the pre market on Pennies, it is very few and 99% of us have no capability to do so.

Garyst - I received an email add from pennystocksecrets stating that they alerted their premium members to APS promotion of PCWT prior to the opening bell. They went on to say many of their premium members bought PCWT before the bell to make a substantial profit. I am not aware of any way to buy penny stocks before the market opens. Do you know if this is possible?

On PWEI: We see posts on many stocks that are suspended state that the pps will open at 0001 and similar comments. Somehow I think many get some sort of thrill on posting dooms day and trying to scare the heck out of others here that are already anxious and stuck in this suspension. We do know that we will resume trading on the Grey Market. With that comes:

No listed Bid/Ask. Some say that is trading blind. I say to them open your Eyes! All one merely has to do is watch the last 15 minutes of the daily chart. If one is seeing it bounce between 02 and 025 (just throwing #'s out there for an example) then it would be pretty likely that sells are going thru at the 02 level and buys at 025. Not 100% accurate but it can give one a general idea of the current "range".

Some Brokers will not allow online orders to sell or buy. Some make that sound like a huge deal. To those I say take your Hand and pick up your phone and with the #'s on your phone dial your broker and place a manual trade. Many brokers do not charge an extra commission for this sort of order being it is unable to be done on line.

The PPS will be "live" and adjust as each trade goes thru just like on any other stock.

There will most likely be very heavy volume on the first day and especially at the Open.

Many times as your other post here today insinuates with examples, the pps does bounce around during the day which is why sometimes (not always) the best time to sell is not in the first 5 minutes. That though is for each person to decide.

Ditto Garyst. If she drops 50-75%, much capital and savvy will be required to minimize loss initiating a doubling down type strategy. It may take months/years to recover. BUT, as long as PWEI stays in business and sells its product it should recover one day. On the other hand, to minimize loss and drive on to the next trade, the challenge is to figure out the retracements from sell-off lows. Because we will see volume we can refer to the charts. IMO, these retracements will start middle to late day (after panic trading) in the first day and continue on into the second and maybe even the third day. Volume will eventually decrease unless something weird happens, like continuing the promotion (doubtful). In that case, all bets are off and the race to gains is back on. IMO, upward retracements PAST resistance (2-5, depending on volume continuing into day two) will probably fall within a 30-60% range. It is possible (but unlikely for most), depending on one's entry pps, that one of these retracements could put one in the green. Again, JUST MO and only for this board. One may want to use their Fibonacci tool if they have one to help calculate an exit. If not, a stubby pencil and scratch paper will work just fine. GLTA and trade well

irish79, In the past the answer would be no. In the past many of them did very well and usually would move several hundred percent which is why they have such a large following. It was just in the past year or so that more and more people refused to hold longer than a few days thus we haven't seen the large rises lately like we did back in early 2012 and before that. On the skull and crossbones.... that's a pretty common thing on many penny stocks. As for their current pick getting suspended, hard to say. I do think they are being watched a bit more closely here these days by the SEC but that is just my opinion.

Guys, on PWEI one thing I will not do is sugar coat anything here and make it look better than what it is. BUT, I will say that many of the posts you read make it sound to be that this is disastrous when in reality it is not the end of the world. Yes, no doubt the pps will open down rather dramatically. There will also be some that bottom feed and buy hoping to make a gain on the drop. Upon the resumption of trading contrary to what a few have said, there will be a large amount of volume (selling and some buying). Some have made it out to be that there will be little to no volume. Not true. More than likely on day 1 we will see in the tens of millions of shares being traded (many being sells). It is what it is and all we can do is wait. I can say though with decent certainty though that you will not lose all your money. It might be down 50% or it might be down 75% but the odds of it going down 99 percent are pretty slim as at some level some will buy hoping for a bounce play. It always happens.

Tough call. They could also be doing a quick back to back pick and just 24 hours after the last one was suspended to make a last cash grab before they run knowing they are being watched.

They know that if they do 2 bad picks like that in a row that they are finished.

I think they'll play it safe and try to make this a good one to regain some subscriber confidence. Otherwise they are done with imo

Most likely, SEC is already investigating PCWT, probably bc the high volume it has came out of no where.

Basically in simple terms it is a icon for "Buyer beware". Grant it, it is not the Gov/SEC that issues those but usually a indicator that there are Red Flags that have gone up that people should be cautious of. Doesn't mean a suspension will come. In fact there are a LOT of tickers that have that status each and every day.

Zacke, maybe consider just trading regular penny plays and not promos anymore. There are so many that move largely each and every day.
