It doesn't take much DD to know what's going on here with HRZL as it's what you do and learn from your DD. You said PPS will start going up once back on NYSE. The PPS had been going down for months when HRZ was still on the NYSE. So your prediction is a paradox. They still have a lot of debt even after refinancing.

That's the reason the board will be asking for a vote on Dec., 2, 2011, for a future 1 for 25 R/S. This PPS, I believe will fall quickly under .10 cent. I'm not a short or long. Just some one who's been following the stock about a year. Honest. I'm not a basher but a realist trying to make a few dollars in the market. Is anyone here aware the company has made this filing?

Correct; the fundamentals are the same. Slowly, more ppl here are going to give up their sheep trading behaviour; soon enough they will realize HRZL is a good company that has to adapt to the new "glorious" US (and world) economy reality.

I have found out that delistings are not normaly turned over on appeal so watch and see what gives in the AM.. unknown future for this stock.

Please read todays delisting notice closely paying close attention to "suspended" and "horizon lines APPEALING" and "NYSE advised the company that additional action to persue delisting will not be taken until the appeal is completed"
IMO I read this as if they are in OTC detention until the appeal process is over, If they overturn the delisting the PPS will go up and they will return to the NYSE and if they dont overturn the PPS will go down and then back up but probably much later. 3rd qtr results soon Do your own DD. IMO a great Buy at these prices. Very Very Risky do your own DD and Good luck to you...

The transition to the OTCQB Marketplace comes after the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) announced that trading of the common stock of Horizon Lines will be suspended prior to the market opening on October 20, 2011. The stock is being suspended because it did not maintain an average market capitalization of at least $15 million over a consecutive 30-trading-day period, as required by NYSE continued listing standards.

Horizon Lines is appealing the NYSE's determination. The company has been advised by the NYSE that additional action to pursue delisting of the stock will not be undertaken until the appeal is completed. In the meantime, the company's stock will trade on the OTCQB Marketplace under the new HRZL stock symbol.

The transition to the OTCQB Marketplace does not change the company's obligation to file periodic and other reports with the Securities and Exchange Commission under applicable federal securities laws. In addition, the transition of the company's stock to the OTCQB Marketplace will have no effect on the shares themselves. Horizon Lines' shareholders remain owners of the common stock and will be able to trade the stock on the OTCQB Marketplace as of October 20, 2011.

With the new financing, and a company bringing in average of 400 million a quarter, do you see anything good?

HRZ is on the naked short list @ a total of 18 days today. Action can take effect on the 13th day, but usually it happens a few days to a week or so later. Also, analysis is stating HRZ will be in an uptrend for the next 5 weeks. The bearish sediment is the shorts trying hard to bring HRZ down as much as possible but they really don't have many more shares to short. They are getting trapped. (IN MY OPINION) This Is Just an Idea Something to get the post going here.
