i dont think is that bad
hoku is priced for BK and any news other than BK , especially on Friday afternoon , is good news
bk would be bad news than we'd see pps decline
so no bk news and charts are looking poised
all of course my opinion , ive been wrong before
gl
modrica
Sorry to be a party pooper, but more bad news. HOKU file an 8-K. Jinko reneges on polysilicon order and Scott Paul is replaced as CEO. Jinko is entitled to receive 150% of their $19.1 Million dollar deposit of time held or $28.7 Million immediately.

Easy at least 40% from here
Exactly, and those that bought $HOKU .15 WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!
GL Everyone
HOKU looking strong again
Solar panel mkt expects a double in '12
This from am report
Wall Street Breakfast: Must-Know News
Solar-panel market expected to double. The U.S. market for solar panels is likely to double this year, a new study predicts, spurred by falling prices and supportive government policies. Around 3,300 megawatts of solar panels are likely to be installed in 2012, but new tariffs on panels imported from China could contribute to slower growth in 2013.
I SEE NOTHING WRONG WITH $HOKU CHART HERE...
http://stockcharts.com/c-sc/sc?s=HOKU&p=D&b=5&g=0&i=t07475639653&r=1339519784423
everything on the chart is pointing to a beginning of an upward move
how big it will be is the question
i could be wrong
in my opinion
gl
modrica
Modrica, true, true. I was thinking .22 to be safe. lol. It seems .20 is a selling point. Averages are getting higher though. Many more little W's will most likely continue to form, hopefully to higher levels.
Arizuela
need to break that .20-.21 line to breakout
imo
gl
mod
Modrica, I agree with you with the charts. Charts are especially good in normal times, but these are not normal times. There has been a series of bad reports and many investors are apprehensive and many day traders get bored and impatient. Time will tell.
Good Luck.
Arizuela
that was how i see and interpret the chart
ive been wrong before and im sure i will be wrong in the future
gl
mod
Modrica, lets hope investors keep playing by the charts. Too much time can negate the chart indicators. I believe, though, good expectations for HOKU are strong and The PPS will hold fairly steady until news.
Arizuela
macd and slow sto on daily point up
it is still way oversold on weekly
slow STO on weekly is turning back up , and weekly slow STO never failed me before
i expect pps to move up
in my opinion of course
gl
modrica
Modrica, It's a game of patience it would seem. I could be a few months or more.
Arizuela
have to agree with that
gl
modrica
Modrica, PPS is pretty much stalemated so far. Any kind of good news could send HOKU soaring.
Arizuela
i know , these prices could be lows
imo
gl
Modrica, the Tianwei Group will not let HOKU fail. The only criteria I see is when they will be ready to produce and during this time of waiting, how low or how high will the PPS go. So any buy at these levels should eventually make big profits as long as the solar industry keeps moving and polysilicon is needed for solar cells.
Arizuela
Ive been watching closely, not what i expected lol
MONSTER $HOKU AINT STOPPING HERE...
charts are pointing up but you never know
imo
gl
modrica
Ten day chart seems to indicate a double bottom breakout here..
Pollux, yes indeed. It would be a nice sign if the PPS hit .20 again, making .15 to .16 a higher low of support. I feel though if news is not forthcoming soon, boredom and other plays could gradually drop the PPS. It still appears to be a day traders play here with HOKU. The best bet is buy and hold.
Arizuela
needs to break that .23 for another surge up
imo
gl
modrica
Nice percentage change today. Super gains!!
It has to breathe..may buy on a bigger dip...selling over .20 was a good idea..imo
Very well, thank you, and you? LOL. There doesn't seem to be any real support here, just bottom guessers.
Arizuela
Murmel007. LOL, I like that extreme positivity in extreme conditions.
Arizuela
Modrica, yes, so far there seems to be a strong hold at .20 with support at .16. I believe, though, this will drop very slowly if positive news is not forthcoming. While charts show potential, HOKU seems to have a way to go and offsetting the charts and making it a hard press to reach .30. So I believe much depends on news.
Good luck.
Arizuela
nice little bounce for hoku last few days
it held gains nicely yesterday after big move previous day
chart wise it could attack 50 MA (0.39) next week and if supported with some positive news maybe even 200 MA (.94) but that little too optimistic
macd looks great
still way too oversold on weekly and slow stochastic pointing up nicely
but then again you never know with this kind of stocks
with any positive news it could make monster move
in my opinion
gl
modrica
CJwelch1, I assume earnings from HOKU Solar, Hawaii and debt from Tianwei U.S.A. and HOKU Materials, here in the US. LOL. Exactly, who knows? Hopefully some positives toward the construction of the polysilicon plant in Idaho.
Arizuela
I thought there was a big promo supposed to happen today on HOKU?
Getting ready to sell my last 40K cause was expecting to see at least 50 cents

incorporated in March 2001, is a solar energy products and services company. The Company focused on the design and
development of fuel cell technologies, including Hoku membrane electrode assemblies (MEAs) and Hoku Membranes. The Company has two business units:
Hoku Materials and Hoku Solar. In September 2010, the Company discontinued the operations of its third business unit, Hoku Fuel Cells. Hoku Materials was incorporated
to manufacture polysilicon, a material used in photovoltaic (PV) modules. The Company's solar integration business focuses on the turnkey delivery of commercial,
