In the coming days, I'm going to be examining a potential acquisition target ... a travel-related company with offices in Texas and Toronto, Ontario, by the name of AMGINE Technologies, Inc.

As indicated in my previous posting, the "COOKIE MONSTER" may have developed an appetite for "travel-related" companies possessed of 'disruptive' software.

Does anyone know of such a company?

I do.

It's a wonderful little, money-making GEM of a privately-held company, that's run by a brilliant mathematician who invented the highly-successful Microsoft 'Project' Software.

It's headquartered in Texas ... and I'll focus on it in the days to come.

QUESTION: How does a 75-year-old MANUFACTURER of printers and laptop computers SUDDENLY move into the super-competitive, and intellectual property-driven "IT-Provider-Services" space, eh?

The answer is that it DOESN'T.

Such a transformation cannot be "SUDDEN" ... but rather, it must be planned and coordinated ... over the course of many months, if not YEARS.

And THAT has been exactly the case with HPM and its mentor, Hewlitt Packard.

How does HPE begin to EXPAND its customer base into the newly-charted areas of its expertise?

The answer is apparent, is it not?

IT MUST BEGIN TO ACQUIRE OTHER 'BOUTIQUE' IT COMPANIES.

So then ... what company will become its very FIRST acquisition, eh?
