You would assume correctly, though it wasn't this stock.
I assume you were once a shareholder and went thru what you suggested the "worthless security form", cleared your account and wrote off the loss?
Nope. Your best bet is to keep trying to contact Maul and Palmer the same way you did before.
I guess in a way you are part of the company, but your public shares aren't worth anything. The only way they'd be worth anything is if the new guys decided to give you something for them out of the kindness of their hearts.
Do you have any contact info for the private company?
If it went back private, then why aren't we who hold shares not part of the private company?
Why would the Canadian regulators have anything to do with this stock? I'm not sure who you spoke with, but they should learn the difference between halted and revoked. The company is now basically a private company and can continue to do business. Whether the new guys will put in the time and expense to get this trading again can only be answered by them. It rarely ever happens though, I can tell you that much.
Question on this subject:
The last I heard htac's contoling interest of the stock was bought by Robert Maul and Everett Palmer. They put up a web site which said they were basically restructuring the company: http://www.healthtrac.com/
At one time I contacted some Canadian mkt regulator and they said the stock had been haulted, but was not considered worthless. Sort of in limbo waiting for Maul and Palmer to have a chance to get the company current with stock rules.
I tried emailing these guys and only received one response when they first took over the stock and put up a web site. Nothing was said about the status at that time just that they were going over what had all transpired with that Sharpless guy who from what they said basically robbed any assets like computers and such from htac shareholders.
The only problem I see is, what is Maul and Palmer going to do with this penny stock shell company? What would happen if out of no where they got the stock back up and running and I already wrote htac off as a complete loss?
I noticed as of last year Kentucky university was still using htac software for wellness plans. I can't imagine how they could still be using htac's program basically for free unless they still are sending a check to Palmer and those guys. Who knows?
Do you know for sure the exact status of where htac stands with the Canadian securities regulators?
Thanks
Has anyone answered this question for you yet?
Hey, this could be our own little chat room since nobody else seems to be around these days.
Cheers!
LMAO......
Slander
I do......im also going to show what a slader suit is.......GL.......
Is there anyone left that posts here anymore?
So....can we write off HTAC stock losses on our income tax returns? OR Does the company even exist anymore?
I quit watching for any news a long time ago and never actually knew if I could write this whole thing off as a loss or not, since I received no notification to do so.

I looked it up before I read your message. Yes, it looks like they are alive. I tried their phone number and it was disconnected, but maybe they will have another one soon. I sne them an email to see if they are sill alive. Will let you know if I get a reply. Bill
Check out http://healthtrac.com - the website is up and HTAC is alive...
Great news. Thanks and good luck. Hope to hear more as progress is made.
As far as I know, HTAC has been delisted and is not trading on any board.
There was a shareholder meeting in Vancover BC last week - a new board was elected.
Yes, there is ongoing business - google Healthtrac and you will find several businesses who are utlizing the HTAC program.
It is a long a complicated story, but the short of it is the new board is getting things back in order and the company could have a bright future.
Are the listed on the "Pinks?" They were trading until recently, maybe until January 9th. Are there any employees and any active business, or is it a possible shell for a reverse merger?
Healthtrac is not dead...in fact, there was a Special Meeting of Shareholders in Vancouver, British Columbia (HTAC is a Canadian Corporation) yesterday to elect a new board.
I know the company was delisted by the SEC on Jan 9th due to lack of filings over the last couple of years. I would expect the new board to get things in order and get HTAC back on track, so to speak.
No other news at this point.
Disappointing! I am hopeful that HTAC will become a shell for a reverse merger.
All trades seem to have stopped - I haven't seen anything since last Thursday.
There seems to be some action in HTAC stock trading. Anybody out there know anything?
Because for the most part RB sucks...and cowboyd wouldn't let me on the private board.
I figured HTAC at .04 was a buy...once in a while you want to pick the low hanging fruit...
I keep trading down here and I'll be even in no time...
So far I'm only down $78,000.00 on HTAC/VDOT LOL.
Anyway to answer your question, the way I see it "why bother?"
There are better places to spend one's time...I'm really liking Nanotech...I, like many others smarter than I am, think it's the next big thing...just hard to pick the winners...
THG,why don't you post on htac at ragingbull?
THG
glad to see you still alive and I hope well.

Welcome to IHUB a superior place to be.

Interesting PR...about Kerry that is...
Welcome
I would like to extend a warm welcome to all who stuck with the company over the years either through choice or just because they got caught by the lies of the past management.
I also want to welcome those new investors who are just discovering this company. I am sure in a short while you will have a group of long time investors who can give you background of the many lives of this company. Above all remember it is a BB with high risk and higher if you give any credence to its tainted history.
JMHO and worth what you paid for it
