SPRT (GREE)'s Free Float is now over 66% shorted. More than 2 out of every 3 actively traded shares of SPRT have been sold short.

Support.com closed at $11.80 yesterday. With the conversion of one SPRT share for 0.115 share of GREE that would translate into GREE trading at more than $102.
GREE opened at $57 per share. More than 2.3M shares have changed hands so far.
Short interest in SPRT was above 70% going into today.
But the change in the shares outstanding with GREE, now 24.24M according to Dow Jones, will change that.
Two days ago, Ihor Dusaniwsky tweeted that 7.1M shares of SPRT were shorted, which would put short interest at less than 30% now, but it's unclear how many more shares were shorted or positions covered going into today.

How can there be a 70% short interest when only 8% of the OS was publicly handed out from SPRT? U should reread their S-1 to understand the share ownership. I doubt the chairman is shorting it lol.

I'm going to try to average down Tuesday and then get out unless this starts dropping again then I'm just going to suck it up and get out.

At this point if I was to guess I'd say that the price is purposely being manipulated down to pre-merger lows and then the company will do a direct offering of billions of shares at a discounted price and screw the shareholders over again.

Who knows......

But I am getting pretty inclined to walk away and move on in the next day or two.

Yeah I know. ETrade is my main broker too. But GREE is on my TDA watchlist and it was showing $58 at one point this morning. Weird!

and just to be clear, on Etrade, it showed GREE down $61 at one point, falling from $90, yet on other sites, it was down $14-$15 from $60.

i nibbled at $41, a very small nibble, was hoping to see it fall below $39
