pics are worth a 1,000 words..lol yes i know he did the press release but did he post it or someone else..I really did not expect news for awhile. I just wish they would respond to me..
I know that he posted the last PR on the web site....can't how one can post a PR but not a few pics. The lack of news or in this case, pics doesn't do much to ease the unrest
i have spoken with Mr. Smith and i asked him about the pics.. he told me he is not in charge of the web site. So i am trying to find out who is in charge of the site.. Honest I just want some pics. Really what could be so simple? No one has responded to me either.. Have they responded to you?
I spoke with David Smith about 2 weeks ago. The drilling permit is due to be issued in the next couple of weeks. There are Goldsands personnel on the ground in Peru working with Mineros people. The process is moving as projected. Are you not getting any response from the company? I agree a few pics would be reassuring and seemingly effortless to post.
has any one on here received any response from the Goldsands web site? I have written them a few times and asked them why the have not updated the site's pictures. I mean i am not asking for information or any time frame or something difficult.. We all know how easy it is to post pics.. I would hate to see what would happen if i asked for a video. I mean i have a Galaxy Slll and i could post a video or pics in a matter of mins...

Indeed, this is encouraging news for GSDC. I'm curious as to why this latest news isnt posted on the financial or stock pages, etc. Why hide this good news?
If this stock went up to even 25 cents, I'd be a happy camper. Heck, if it went up to a dollar, I'd think I was in heaven! Oh well. I guess time will tell.
If it wasn't for past disappointments I would consider this to be fantastic news for GoldSands. As I understand it we have already proved there is gold in economical quantities so the potential negative is the time frame of option 1. The fact that they already have a team on site is encouraging.
Here is the URL for the Aug 2 update

I am on mobile, I think it is posted on company site under news.
Haven't received anything yet. Can you share the contents?
Just checking out details. Can't find Saramiriza, Peru on any map.
Imazita, Peru supposely on the way to Saramizita is not on map either.
It looks like the next nearest place on the map is Bagua Chica and there's a road I read about to Imazita that appears to be a favorite for visiting bird watchers looking for nearly extinct species.
Theres some pics of the road on a few bird watcher websites. The road appears impassable and wet with deep ruts. Plus bird watcher website advises as any plan of visiting to use guide and translator to navigate safely. Expect pay to mayor of region for accommodations, permission. No negotiating.
is this risky?
Can any of you youngsters with computer skills see if you pinpoint Saramiriza and the area of the Maranon River this company is explorin and link it in post here?
From what I gather its a rather recluse , undeveloped area of the world. What are the logistics of getting machinery in to get the gold? Is it necessary to fly in?
Is this area Amazon rain forest? Is it dangerous there. Looks like isolated large spans of National Reserves of Peru in that region for hundred of miles? What is the nearest road or city with airport, etc? How far from Lima, Peru is it?
Thanks
Thompson
come on people you should of known this is not get big money over night. but i believe it will be big money over the long haul. sure we all want it to pop and pop big..no one more than me.. but we are lucky it is real. i have met David and Mr Gorman.. They are honest and good people.. you can believe the they feel you and would give info if it was in the best interest .. but with find there are many sharks out there and the less they know the better..yes, if i had not met these men personally.. i would be way more skeptical. Instead i have to be patient with is not one of my strong points at all...
another six more months,i pity the fool. lol
Just spoke with David Smith. Mineros has filed for drilling permits (could take up to 6 months to obtain), this will give them ability to test the entire 48 concessions. Goldsands is going working to get progress releases out on a regular basis. The double edge of news is that there are a number of adjacent properties in the area, many of which have the potential for similar alluvial sediment, that release of too much data could impact the cost of lease acquisition on these properties. They are looking to the fall for meaningful info on the progress of the project. Looks like this remains a longterm play. Like you I'm in a little too deep to just walk away, fortunately I have time on my side.
I just looked on the Mineros web site (Mineros Web Site), which the Chrome browser allows you to translate from Spanish to English, and all I could find about Gold Sands was a January 26, 2012, press release in Spanish (it's in an untranslatable format), nothing else.
Unfortunately, I am in so deep with this one that I am going to have to hang in there for a while yet. I have thought of selling half my position and putting it into another situation that seems to hold more promise. Maybe I'll do that.
This huge loss is my own fault. I had tripled my money in this stock in about two weeks last spring and got greedy. I should have set a stop loss that would have guaranteed me a nice profit. Lesson learned (again!).
Good luck to you whatever you decide.
I think if there is info to obtain it will come in a formal PR. My experience in delayed response from the company has been because of an impending PR, whatever that's worth. I sent a note myself. David told me about a month ago that he was pushing mananagement to have regular PR's to give status reports. Knowing that the info will be very limited to protect themselves. Some information at least lets us know that someone is at the wheel. Mineros is really in the crow's nest. They know precisely how this is going, and are keeping their cards tight to the vest.
Hmmm....I might cut my losses on this one. I like the chart but I am not seeing the strength building or any confidence in the company itself. I am torn on this one.
Thanks for the info, good luck to you!
Nothing yet. That concerns me. You'd think they'd check their email at least once a week. From what I gather, I'm not the first person who has had difficulty getting information from GSDC.
Any contact back from the company?
Need someone to start hitting that ask at 0.035!!
Would love to see that! Need some buys, should we put an ad in Craigslist? HA!
So, what is she going to do this week?? :)
Strange trading day today!?!?
I like that the bid has come up and may act as support. Most action I've seen in a few days!
If you go here you can see the GSDC trading action (15 minutes delayed):
GSDC Trades
It's good to see some activity (156,000 shares as of this writing), even though almost all of it is attributed to people selling. At least I won't have ended up buying at the high of the day
BTW, if GSDC doesn't respond to my email buy the middle of next week, I'll call them. If that doesn't work, I have some other avenues to get some info.
Good luck getting any info from the company. As you stated, they are bound and vulnerable to repercussions from their statements. When I last spoke with David Smith, he was trying to get some additional info from Mineros regarding what they found between 30 and 50 meters (a depth no one has ever been to). Principles of alluvial caches point to greater concentrations at greater depths, above bedrock. This would seem to be the single greatest signal of what the future holds. Its been frustrating as many others stated. Mineros was flying off the handle when the DD phase was announced, and even sounded like they might have been interested in buying GSDC. Now that they've entered into phase I of their options, the make announcements about a library opening, being a financially well respected company and similar announcements. I don't know how to read this, but all we can do is sit tight and wait. I too am interested in whatever response you obtain. GLTA
I paid the high of the day $0.22, but it seemed to trigger some activity (which quickly ended).
I did email the company with the questions I mentioned in my previous post. I will post my response whenever it arrives.
I appreciate your DD and look forward to hearing that you made contact with the company.
What price did you buy at today?
Thank you both for your comments. Given that GSDC has 190,000,000 shares outstanding and were given only $196,000 payment, it's easy yo see the low share price. Even if everything went perfect and Mineros goes ahead with the deal and GSDC collects $1,900,000 in royalties per year, that only comes to $0.01 per share. Of course, that should send GDSC over $0.10/share but not the dollars per share I had hoped for. Maybe things will turn out even better than this, but it's going to take time.
I did make a buy this morning and it triggered a number of other buys. Interesting.
I am going to contact investor relations to ask (1) when their next reporting cycle is, (2) when we can expect another stock holder's letter and (3) what is the time frame for some news? I'll post any response.
Ha...got volume this morning but not the right kind!
I agree, this board has been dead and it's nice to see a few people discussing it. (Good or bad!)
Based on my DD, this stock is undervalued and oversold! I am not saying it's worth a lot but it shouldn't be this low.
2 Days of 0 volume is a big concern, we need volume and we need to break that 0.026 and 0.028 resistance!
If anyone has contact with management, please address these concerns with them. I'd love to hear from them.

http://finance.yahoo.com/news/mineros-exercises-first-option-goldsands-203000485.html
"Mineros S.A. has formally exercised Option 1 of our Mineral Right Option and Joint Venture Agreement and made the initial payment of US$196,000 to GoldSands pursuant to the amended agreement."
"in addition to fulfilling the requirements under Option 1, Mineros is required to expend a minimum of US$ 3,500,000 (US Dollars Three Million Five Hundred Thousand) on exploration and development of the property underlying the Mining Rights in order to exercise Option 2"
things are on the move here since May
an update is expected
I have done DD. I get the stock holder's letters. I've read the press releases and most of the filings for the last few years and have read the information on the web site.
GSDC looks to have a decent deposit, but no money to work it, thus the partnerships and the low stock price. I'm still surprised at how low it is, especially given the positive drill results last year and the fact that Mineros is continuing their DD.
These boards are suppose to be for sharing of information. This board is dead. I'm trying to add some activity to it as a new poster. Rather than being cryptic, you evidently have some valuable information to share. I would enjoy hearing your thoughts. Please share them. I value your comments.
I couldn't agree with you more! The lack of information is frustrating! However, I believe that most/all of the management each has a lot invested in GSDC and are each out more than all of us on this board put together, so I imagine this is even more frustrating for them as I believe many took stock in lieu of pay.
Unfortunately, management is restricted by law as to what they can say and when they can say it. They have to be very careful with "progress reports" that might mislead shareholders. For instance, if they said something like "the Mineros investigation is progressing well" then three weeks later Mineros decides not to proceed, that could generate law suits. I think management can only issue statements when something concrete is known.
Hopefully something good will come out of GSDC's current agreements, but when the latest Mineros announcement (May 11) was made I thought we'd see a surge in stock price. That didn't happen, so I do have concerns about the quality of the gold deposit and ease of extraction. It's obvious to me that if this project doesn't produce income, GSDC is done for.
Thanks for the input.....it would be nice for them to communicate more with their shareholders so we can be positive about the direction the company is headed!
Pat had a stroke and has been on the sidelines for well over a year, just now getting back into action. But that aside, you seem to have misunderstood my message. I said he is an honest guy. I also said if the company fails it will be because of management incompetence, not because it's a scam. Just because someone is honest, doesn't mean they are the next Steve Jobs. Time will tell.
what has gorman done for his shareholders? get real.
I have traded this stock periodically times over the last 4 years. Last year bought a ton of it at $0.14 and watched it quickly go to $0.44. My normal rule is to sell 1/3 of my position if I get a quick triple, thus ensuring at least break even no matter what. Instead, since it had always traded above $1.00 in every previous year it was on the market, greed overcame reason and I averaged on the way up and now am privileged to enjoy a substantial negative entry in my portfolio.
I have no idea why this stock has sunk to such a low price. I have to assume that folks smarter than me have fairly valued it. The only positive I can offer is that I know Pat Gorman, the chairman of the board, and I can say without hesitation that he is a man of great integrity. If GSDC ends up a total bust, I would be shocked if it was due to any shenanigans. It may be the result of management incompetence, but not management deceit.
Of course, a failed stock is a failed stock either way and honest management is a fool's compensation, but at least it's good to know that the effort is honest.

Constitution Mining is committed to the logic of big as the smartest way to build value for our shareholders.
Constitution Mining controls 461 square kilometers (178 square miles) of Gold Sands in northeastern Peru. Previous exploration identified the Peruvian Gold Sands as a possible "elephant" deposit of alluvial gold - and big even by elephant standards. CMIN reported on March 26th, 2010 that it has successfully completed a 26-hole exploratory Phase I drill program designed to test the company's entire Gold Sands property package - including the recently optioned extensions to the north and south. Subsequently, the Company announced on March 31st it had ordered two more Banka drills and was ramping up drilling capacity in advance of an upcoming Phase II drill program. Click here to LEARN MORE
CMIN reported on April 1st it had executed a definitive and binding Asset Purchase Agreement with Seabridge Gold on 30 Nevada-based gold projects comprising 2,141 claims, mostly located in the heart of Nevada's prolific Walker Lane gold belt. The most advanced project in the package of mineral claims is the Castle Black Rock gold project in Esmeralda county, which has an NI-43-101-compliant gold resource of 215,000 ounces in the measured and indicated categories (12.38 million tonnes grading 0.54 gram of gold per tonne) and 93,000 ounces in the inferred category (7.95 million tonnes grading 0.37 gram of gold per tonne). Management considers the potential for the Company to expand on the existing base of 308,000 ounces of gold resources in Nevada to be high. Click here to LEARN MORE
