This just in. The Biden admin has just authorized sending 31 Abram tanks to Ukraine

Will this have direct impact on GEVO, no But it will require many gallons of fuel to keep these tanks in operation.

Aviation fuel, miles per gallon, more like gallons per mile. Cost of this war is going higher. Infrastructure cost was the main reason
for not sending these tanks.
I believe this will be something to pay attention to if you're a Gevo investor.

Was surprised to hear about this fuel as well. I happened to be listening to a news feed that was discussing sending tanks to Ukraine. The news reporter mentioned this Abrams tank and fuel required compared to European models. so looked it up.

As you know this company is got many commitments / letters of intent for their aviation fuel.

Are all of you aware the tank the army has runs on this fuel? Not diesel like others.

This means another outlet for aviation fuel with a gov't contract could be in the making//

I will take a look, did not think about it, good call. I am not so smart most of the time. I hope this project does better than virtually all the other RNG dairy manure projects in the USA!!! The financial success rate on these projects is pretty much 100%. Meaning 100% failure in meeting financial projections. No reason for this one to be ANY different.

But maybe this one will be a unicorn. We will find out in 12 months or so, but I told you so.

I agree!! However, the investing public is just way to skittish lately, imo. Gevo has a number of airlines who are just waiting to buy their fuel. More will come as product becomes available!! Yet....

Although I am not a fan of Biden I do think we need to help the planet to live on. Therefore I do think GEVO has the right idea. The stock seem to be way under valued and I think a break out is shortly on the way. But then what to I know.

Gevo (NASDAQ:GEVO) has developed an important, new technology that’s going to become an important part of our economy: sustainable airlines fuel.

I used to be skeptical about Gevo, but as the company has kept the massive, new deals with airlines rolling in, I’ve become a real believer in the company and in GEVO stock. Just in the last several weeks, Gevo has announced two, new, impressive agreements with major airlines. Further, the company is starting to sign deals with airlines in many different parts of the world, showing that it’s becoming a true international player in the SAF space.

Specifically, on Nov. 2 the company unveiled a 6 million gallon per year, five-year agreement with Iberia Airlines that Gevo says is going to be worth a total of $165 million. On Oct. 25, Qatar Airways got into the act, as Gevo announced that the Middle Eastern airlines would purchase 5 million gallons of SAF from it starting in 2028.

“The agreement with Qatar…. supports Gevo’s efforts in pursuit of its stated goal of producing and commercializing a billion gallons of SAF by 2030,” Gevo stated in conjunction with the announcement.

And on Oct. 10, the company reported that it “has approximately 375 million gallons per year of…SAF and hydrocarbon fuel supply agreements” that should bring its annual revenue to about $2.3 billion.

Yet the stock’s market capitalization is only $444.46 million. Given the company’s projected annual revenue total and many airlines’ apparent devotion to spending a great deal of money on SAF, GEVO is an excellent tech stock to buy now.

You want to know why this company is going to be very successful. Just look at the agreements they're making. Not just an your normal ethanol company imo. But one that is specializing in aviation fuel.

American Airlines Group Inc., Japan Airlines Co. and others have signed long-term supply contracts with the Englewood, Colo.-based agri-energy company for its alternative fuel. So far, Gevo has agreements that call for 375 million gallons a year, representing $2.8 billion in expected annual revenue, the company said.

Gevo Chief Executive Patrick Gruber said the supply deals are crucial to securing funding for current and upcoming construction projects to boost production of alternative fuels that the airline industry needs to address regulations aimed at curbing climate change.

"The contracts from airlines are the single most important thing," Mr. Gruber said. "Without that you can't get project financing."

The company has also signed contracts with Aer Lingus Ltd., Alaska Airlines Inc., Finnair Oyj, Iberia Lineas Aereas de Espana SA and Qatar Airways Group QCSC.

Airlines want at least 10% of their fuel to be sustainable by 2023, Gevo said in a securities filing. Members of the International Air Transport Association last year agreed to commit to reducing net carbon emissions to zero by 2050, with sustainable aviation fuel contributing up to 80% of the decline. Airlines account for about 2.1% of global carbon emissions, according to the Air Traffic Transport Action Group's website.

Gevo, has a smaller Plant in Minn. and what they say they can produce, has been tested by a handfull of Airlines, some of those airlines are the ones who have singed LOI ,or LOM to purchase amounts of the Product..
RNG- is the by-produced of Cow Shit or Captured Methane also from Dump sights. It is being used by 18 wheelers, (Truckers), Busses, Cement trucks and Many others. GEVO has Built one of these Processers in Iowaat a Dairy Farm.
The Plant they are Breaking Ground on in South Dakota, is the plant to Produce, Fuel for the Airlines, which is a Different type of Fuel, then the above mentioned Vehicles..
