Lots of attention on the financials like Lehman today. Wonder how many people are looking for a .12 stock when there are other gambles out there with more liquidity--like Washington Mutual and LEH and the like.
Check those volumes and daily trading ranges.
I'm suprised there hasn't been more of a pop today, too. The launch on 9/15 and whatever attention ITUI garners with PRs, etc. will probably do the trick.
sweet deal here...i don't know why this isn't getting more attention??? there launching worldwide on the 15th...isn't that huge? where is everyone?

i2Telecom International Featured on Cover of Internet Telephony(R) Magazine's June Issue
Cover Story Highlights Ability of MyGlobalTalk(TM) to Deliver VoIP Cost Savings to Mobile Phone Users
ATLANTA, Jun 04, 2008 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- i2Telecom International, Inc. ("i2Telecom(R)") (OTCBB: ITUI), a developer of award-winning patented and innovative high-quality Voice-over-Internet Protocol ("VoIP") products and services, today announced that its proprietary VoIP and Wireless capabilities are featured in a cover story article in the June 2008 issue of Internet Telephony(R) magazine. Published monthly since October 1998, Internet Telephony magazine is dedicated solely to coverage of next-generation, IP-based telecommunications, providing its readers with the best information necessary to learn about and purchase the equipment, software, and services they need to take advantage of Internet telephony.
The article, which is authored by Richard "Zippy" Grigonis, Executive Editor of IP Communications Group, is entitled "i2 Telecom Delivers the Best of VoIP and Wireless". In addition to Mr. Grigonis' review of the impressive features of i2Telecom's VoiceStick(R) and i2Bridge(R) services, a substantial portion of the article is devoted to the Company's new MyGlobalTalk(TM) service, which allows cellular phone users to take advantage of remarkably low "Internet rates" when placing long-distance calls on a global basis.
"MyGlobalTalk, bolstered by i2Telecom's most advanced patented technology, enables any cell phone user to realize the economic benefits of IP communications, regardless of the wireless carrier handset maker or the type of wireless carrier voice/data plan involved," noted Mr. Grigonis in the article. "Moreover, MyGlobalTalk can perform its feats without the need for local Internet access, such as an Internet 'hotspot'. No fancy dual-mode WiFi phone is required either - you can enjoy the same features using your existing mobile handset."
MyGlobalTalk is being released in phases. During the first quarter of 2008, it became available to customers in the U.S. and the U.K. with smartphone handsets running under Windows Mobile(R) 5.0/6.0. Subsequent releases will be accessible from anywhere in the world and will include support for BlackBerry, iPhone and Symbian-enabled handsets, while at the same time adding new features.
"We're all about the convergence of communications and entertainment media," noted Mark Hewitt, Chief Strategic Officer at i2Telecom International, Inc. "The Company is focused on developing and delivering a plethora of innovation in the VoIP and broadband world. We are best known for the popularity of our VoiceStick USB device and soft client phone that many companies have copied. Recently, we have adjusted our legacy softswitch architecture to a new edge or session border controller service delivery platform that is capable of global scale."
"i2Telecom has built a strong intellectual property position that serves as the foundation for our expanding product portfolio," stated Paul R. Arena, Founder, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the Company. "We are very pleased that Internet Telephony magazine, which is widely recognized as an authority on IP Communications, has elected to feature our Company, its technology, and the value that we can deliver to businesses and consumers on the cover of its June issue."

Been accumulating over the past week. At these prices one can easily load the boat!

If I told you where I think this one is eventually going to, you'd laugh at me!
Suffice to say.........higher.

ITUI chart is awesome
Not many posts here. ITUI is doing well and growing nicely.
Lor,
I think some including the market itself finally figured out that their Voice Stick product is actually very good and that they do have a viable business with nice potential.
You know a lot of telco's or associated companies got destroyed a few years back. Stocks like i2 Telecom literally got abandoned and left for dead. It wasn't until just the last year that some of these recognizable companies like Cisco, Cienna ect. begun to recover. As you know, it often takes longer for the money to find it's way into the micro-caps in the space
It also seems as though the CEO wasn't willing to quit even under difficult times. The market may have had a plan to abandon companies like this one but the CEO had another plan. He survived, cut costs, put in his own money and lived to fight another day knowing the macro-environment for the company and its technology would see better days if they could just hang on.
Now they have made it and low and behold, Sony and others have recently acquired similar companies in the space at prices much higher than i2's and thay appear to actually have less in the way of intellectual property. When you see big buyers like Sony shopping for bargains in the space, it's fairly telling that bargains are available. Some clearly are viewing i2 as one of those potential bargains that's share price currently inadequately represents the true intrinsic value of the company.
Someone clearly knows something and the tape action confirms it. It's certainly worth keeping on our radars. Like I mentioned previously, if they get some better financing and remove the converts pressuring the shares, I'd expect a nice leg up in the shares.
SM
Any news on this puppy. Close at the high of the day--high of the year! LOL JHigh of last year!
ITUI shares doing extremely well lately. I mentioned this one in another forum at roughly .04 and the shares are now up a few hundred percent sitting at .13 with very nice liquidity.
Appears as though some smart money is aggressively accumulating shares here over the last month or two.
I have a short term target (1-3 months) of .20-.25 and a (6 month) target of .35-.40.
They have a viable product and an excellent (CEO) that never quits. He puts his own money where his mouth is and is absolutely tenacious. I always search for companies with management that has their goals alligned with shareholders and ITUI is a perfect example.
Personally, the only thing I think has precluded the shares from trading at a more equitable valuation based on their technology is the previous financing arrangement that has consistently put pressure on the shares. If that one issue were addressed and revised into some form of friendlier financing, I think substantial gains would soon follow.
It's speculative but if you entered when originally mentioned here, you should be in a position of strength and I would suggest adding on any pullbacks expecting my targets to be reached and likely eclipsed assuming management executes as I believe they may.
Regards,
SM
i2Telecom Announces Trusted Computing Integration Plans; Relationship to Enable Launch of VoIP Services Authenticated by a Security Chip and Wave Software
September 11, 2006 08:00:28 (ET)
ATLANTA & LEE, Mass., Sep 11, 2006 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- i2Telecom International, Inc. (ITUI, Trade), announced a letter of intent with Wave Systems Corp. (WAVX, Trade) setting forth plans to bring added security and a more seamless calling experience to the growing number of subscribers to its ultra-portable, high-quality Voice-over Internet Protocol (VoIP) service. The plans are subject to completion of integration and development work and the negotiation of definitive documentation.
The plan calls for i2Telecom to enable its product offerings for authentication via a Trusted Platform Module (TPM), a security chip installed on the motherboard of millions of PCs shipping today. Wave Systems would promote the hardened i2Telecom VoIP service as part of its third-party services program for the EMBASSY(R) Trust Suite software (ETS), which assists users in managing the Trusted Platform Modules on their PCs, and providing features such as automatic storage and recall of passwords and logon information.
i2Telecom will attempt to become the first publicly available VoIP service to take advantage of the added convenience and security of integrating its service with a TPM. Users of i2Telecom's proprietary technology -- which uses a combination of its own network and the Internet to deliver high-quality phone calls and other applications -- would be able to make calls without the intrusion of entering passwords or login information. Subscribers would also have added assurances against account theft and security compromises.
"For the power user of integrated VoIP telephony, we plan to make accessing landline phones, or making calls to another PC more seamless and secure," said Paul Arena, Chairman and CEO of i2Telecom. "We're excited about the prospect of bringing the i2Telecom voice platform to corporations and consumers alike by leveraging the benefits of the TPM and the expanding services platform enabled by Wave's EMBASSY Trust Suite."
"Wave is proud to help pioneers like i2Telecom take advantage the new Trusted Computing environment," observed Steven Sprague, President and CEO of Wave Systems. "It's our hope that i2Telecom will showcase the kind of enhanced relationship Web service providers can forge with their customers -- where ease of use and a higher level of security go hand in hand."
Under the plan, Wave's subsidiary Wavexpress, Inc. would provide the back-office systems for enabling new subscribers of this product. Details of the project remain subject to the negotiation and execution of a definitive development agreement.
Wave's EMBASSY software leverages the open standards specified by the Trusted Computing Group, an industry standards body (TCG) www.trustedcomputinggroup.org. The computer industry has shipped tens of millions of PCs embedded with Trusted Platform Module chips. Wave's EMBASSY technology provides a broad range of features, including network policy management, data protection, password protection, strong authentication--including machine, biometric and smart card authentication of a user's personal computer to a server--and encrypted email.
